प्रेरित 8
1 तिनको हत्यामा शाऊल पनि सहमत थिए । त्यही दिन यरूशलेमको मण्डलीको विरुद्धमा ठुलो सतावट सुरु भयो र प्रेरितहरूबाहेक अन्य विश्वासीहरू यहूदिया र सामारियाका क्षेत्रहरूमा तितर-बितर भएर गए ।
Saul had pleasure in his deeth. And at yt tyme there was a great persecucion agaynst the congregacion which was at Ierusalem and they were all scattered abroade thorowout the regions of Iury and Samaria except the Apostles
2 ईश्वरभक्त मानिसहरूले स्तिफनसलाई गाडे र तिनको लागि बेसरी विलाप गरे ।
Then devout men dressed Steven aud made great lamentacion over him.
3 तर शाऊलले मण्डलीलाई औधी हानि पुर्याए । तिनी घरैपिच्छे जान्थे र तिनले पुरुष र स्त्रीहरूलाई घिसारेर ल्याउँथे र तिनीहरूलाई झ्यालखानामा हालिदिन्थे ।
But Saul made havocke of the congregacion entrynge into every housse and drewe out bothe man and woman and thrust the into preson.
4 तथापि छरपष्ट भएका विश्वासीहरूले चारैतिर वचन बाँड्दै गए ।
They that were scattered abroade went every where preachyng the worde.
5 फिलिप सामरियाको सहरमा गए र तिनले तिनीहरूलाई ख्रीष्टको बारेमा प्रचार गरे ।
Then came Philip into a cite of Samaria and preached Christ vnto them.
6 जब भिडले फिलिपले गरेका चिन्हहरू देखे तब तिनीहरूले ध्यान दिएर तिनका कुरा सुने ।
And the people gave hede vnto those thinges which Philip spake with one acorde in that they hearde and sawe the miracles which he dyd.
7 किनकि तिनीहरूमध्ये धेरै जनाबाट अशुद्ध आत्माहरू चिच्च्याउँदै निस्किआए र धेरै पक्षाघाती र लङ्गडाहरू निको भए ।
For vnclene spretes cryinge with loude voyce came out of many that were possessed of them. And manye taken with palsies and many yt halted were healed
8 र त्यस सहरमा बडो आनन्द भयो ।
And ther was great ioye in that cite.
9 तर त्यस सहरमा सिमोन नाउँ गरेको एक जना मानिस थियो जसले पहिले जादुगरी गर्ने गर्थ्यो । त्यसले एक प्रभावशाली मानिस थिए भन्ने दाबी गर्दै तिनले सामरियाका मानिसहरूलाई छक्क पार्ने गर्थ्यो ।
And ther was a certayne man called Simon which before tyme in the same cite vsed witche crafte and bewitched the people of Samarie sayinge that he was a man yt coulde do greate thinges
10 सबैभन्दा सानादेखि सबैभन्दा ठुलासम्मका सामरीहरूले त्यसका कुरा ध्यान दिएर सुन्थे । तिनीहरूले भन्थे, “यी मानिस परमेश्वरका ती शक्ति हुन् जसलाई महान् भनिन्छ ।”
Whom they regarded from ye lest to the greatest sayinge: this felow is the great power of God.
11 तिनीहरूले त्यसका कुरा सुन्थे किनकि त्यसले आफ्नो जादुगरीद्वारा लामो समयदेखि तिनीहरूलाई चकित पार्दै आएको थियो ।
And him they set moche by because of longe tyme with sorcery he had mocked the.
12 तर जब फिलिपले परमेश्वरको राज्य र येशू ख्रीष्टको सुसमाचारको बारेमा जे प्रचार गरे तिनीहरूले त्यसमाथि विश्वास गरे अनि पुरुष र स्त्रीहरू दुवैले बप्तिस्मा लिए ।
But assone as they beleved Philippes preachynge of the kyngdome of God and of the name of Iesu Christ they were baptised bothe men and wemen.
13 सिमोन आफैँले पनि विश्वास गर्यो र बप्तिस्मा लियो । त्यो फिलिपसँगै लागिरह्यो । चिन्हहरू र उदेकका कामहरू देखेर त्यो छक्क परे ।
Then Simon him selfe beleved also and was baptised and cotinued with Phillip and wondered beholdynge the miracles and signes which were shewed.
14 सामरियाका मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको वचनलाई ग्रहण गरे भन्ने कुरा जब यरूशलेमका प्रेरितहरूले सुने, तिनीहरूले पत्रुस र यूहन्नालाई उनीहरूकहाँ पठाए ।
When ye Apostles which were at Ierusalem hearde saye that Samaria had receaved ye worde of God: they sent vnto the Peter and Iohn
15 तिनीहरू आएपछि तिनीहरूले उनीहरूले पवित्र आत्मा पाउन सकून् भनी उनीहरूका निम्ति प्रार्थना गरे ।
which when they were come prayed for the that they myght receave ye holy goost
16 किनकि त्यस बेलासम्म पवित्र आत्मा उनीहरूमध्ये कसैमाथि पनि आउनुभएको थिएन, प्रभु येशूको नाउँमा मात्र उनीहरूको बप्तिस्मा भएको थियो ।
For as yet he was come on none of them: But they were baptised only in the name of Christ Iesu.
17 त्यसपछि पत्रुस र यूहन्नाले उनीहरूमाथि आफ्ना हात राखे र उनीहरूले पवित्र आत्मा पाए ।
Then layde they their hondes on them and they receaved the holy goost.
18 प्रेरितहरूले हात राख्दा पवित्र आत्मा पाईंदोरहेछ भनी जब सिमोनले देख्यो त्यसले तिनीहरूलाई रूपैयाँ-पैसा दिन लाग्यो ।
When Simo sawe that thorowe layinge on of the Apostles hondes on them the holy goost was geven: he offered the money
19 त्यसले भन्यो, “मलाई पनि यो शक्ति दिनुहोस् ताकि मैले जो कसैमाथि हात राख्दा उसले पवित्र आत्मा पाउन सकोस् ।”
sayinge: Geve me also this power that on whom soever I put the hondes he maye receave the holy goost.
20 तर पत्रुसले भने, “तेरो रूपैयाँ-पैसा तैँसित नष्ट होस् किनकि तैँले परमेश्वरको वरदानलाई रूपैयाँ-पैसाले प्राप्त गर्न सकिँदोरहेछ भनी ठानिस् ।
Then sayde Peter vnto him: thy monye perysh with the because thou wenest that the gifte of God maye be obteyned wt money.
21 यस विषयमा तेरो कुनै हिस्सा वा भाग छैन किनकि तिम्रो हृदय परमेश्वरसित ठिक छैन ।
Thou hast nether parte nor felloushippe in this busines. For thy hert is not ryght in the syght of God.
22 त्यसकारण, तेरो दुष्टताको लागि पश्चात्ताप गरी प्रभुलाई प्रार्थना चढा, कतै उहाँले तँलाई क्षमा गरिदिनुहुन्छ कि ।
Repent therfore of this thy wickednes and praye God that ye thought of thyne hert maye be forgeven the.
23 किनभने म देख्दछु कि तँ तिक्ताको विष र पापको बन्धनमा छस् ।”
For I perceave that thou arte full of bitter gall and wrapped in iniquite.
24 सिमोनले जवाफ दियो, “मेरो निम्ति प्रार्थना गरिदिनुहोस् ताकि तपाईंले भन्नुभएको कुनै पनि कुरा ममाथि आइनपरोस् ।”
Then answered Simon and sayde: Praye ye to the lorde for me yt none of these thinges whiche ye have spoken fall on me.
25 पत्रुस र यूहन्नाले साक्षी दिई परमप्रभुको वचन बोलेपछि तिनीहरू यरूशलेम फर्के र बाटोमा सामरियाका धेरै गाउँहरूमा तिनीहरूले सुसमाचार प्रचार गरे ।
And they whe they had testified and preached the worde of the lorde returned toward Ierusalem and preached the gospell in many cities of the Samaritas.
26 अब परमप्रभुका एउटा दूतले फिलिपलाई भने, “उठ र दक्षिणतिर जाऊ जहाँ यरूशलेमदेखि गाजासम्म जाने बाटो छ (यो बाटो उजाड-स्थानमा पर्दछ) ।”
Then the angell of the lorde spake vnto Phillip sayinge: aryse and goo towardes mydde daye vnto ye waye yt goeth doune fro Ierusalem vnto Gaza which is in ye desert.
27 तिनी उठे र गए । त्यहाँ इथियोपियाका एक जना नपुंसक थिए जो इथियोपिया देशकी रानी कन्दाकीका पदाधिकारी थिए । तिनी उनका सारा सम्पत्तिको कोषाध्यक्ष थिए । तिनी आराधनाको लागि यरूशलेम आएका थिए ।
And he arose and wet on. And beholde a man of Ethiopia which was a chaberlayne and of grete auctorite wt Cadace quene of ye Ethiopias and had ye rule of all her treasure came to Ierusalem for to praye.
28 फर्कंदै गर्दा तिनले रथमा यशैया अगमवक्ताको पुस्तक पढिरहेका थिए ।
And as he returned home agayne sittynge in his charet he rede Esay ye prophet
29 पवित्र आत्माले फिलिपलाई भन्नुभयो, “माथि जाऊ र त्यस रथको साथ लाग ।”
Then ye sprete sayde vnto Phillip: Goo neare and ioyne thy selfe to yonder charet.
30 त्यसैले, फिलिप तिनीकहाँ दौडेर गए र तिनले यशैया अगमवक्ताबाट पढेको सुनेर फिलिपले सोधे, “के तपाईंले पढिरहनुभएको कुरा बुझ्नुहुन्छ?”
And Philip ranne to him and hearde him rede ye prophet Esayas and sayde: Vnderstondest thou what thou redest?
31 इथियोपियालीले भने, “कसैले मलाई नबुझाएसम्म म कसरी बुझ्न सक्छु र?” तिनले फिलिपलाई तिनीसँगै रथमा बस्न अनुरोध गरे ।
And he sayd: how can I except I had a gyde? And he desyred Philip that he wold come vp and sit wt him.
32 इथियोपियालीले पढेको धर्मशास्त्रको खण्ड थियोः “काटिने थुमाजस्तै उसलाई लगियो; जसरी थुमा ऊन कत्रनेको सामु मौन हुन्छ त्यसै गरी उसले आफ्नो मुख खोल्दैन ।”
The tenoure of ye scripture which he redde was this. He was ledde as a shepe to be slayne: and lyke a lambe dome before his sherer so opened he not his mouth.
33 उसको विनम्रतामा उसको न्याय खोसियो । कसले उसको पुस्ताको घोषणा गर्ने? किनकि उसको जीवन यस पृथ्वीबाट हरण गरियो ।”
Because of his humblenes he was not estemed: who shall declare his generacio? for his lyfe is taken fro the erthe.
34 त्यसैले, नपुंसकले फिलिपलाई सोधे, “मलाई बताइदिनुस् कि अगमवक्ताले कसको बारेमा भन्दै छन्— आफ्नै बारेमा वा अरू कसैको बारेमा?”
The chamberlayne answered Philip and sayde: I praye the of whom speaketh the Prophet this? of him selfe or of some other man?
35 फिलिपले बताउन थाले । तिनले उनलाई येशूको बारेमा बताउन यशैयाको यस खण्डबाट सुरु गरे ।
And Philip opened his mouth and beganne at ye same scripture and preached vnto him Iesus.
36 तिनीहरू जाँदै गर्दा तिनीहरू केही पानी भएको ठाउँमा आइपुगे । नपुंसकले भने, “हेर्नुहोस्, यहाँ पानी छ । मलाई बप्तिस्मा लिनदेखि केले रोक्छ?”
And as they went on their waye they came vnto a certayne water and the chamberlayne sayde: Se here is water what shall let me to be baptised?
37 त्यसैले, ती इथियोपियालीले रथ रोक्न आज्ञा दिए अनि फिलिप र नपुंसक दुवै जना पानी भएको ठाउँमा गए र फिलिपले तिनलाई बप्तिस्मा दिए ।
Philip sayde vnto him: Yf thou beleve with all thyne hert thou mayst. He answered and sayde: I beleve that Iesus Christe is the sonne of God.
And he comaunded the charet to stonde still. And they went doune bothe into the water: bothe Philip and also the chamberlayne and he baptised him.
39 तिनीहरू पानीबाट बाहिर आएपछि परमप्रभुका आत्माले फिलिपलाई लैजानुभयो । नपुंसकले तिनलाई फेरि देखेनन् र तिनी रमाउँदै आफ्नो बाटो लागे ।
And assone as they were come out of the water the sprete of the lorde caught awaye Philip yt the chamberlayne sawe him no moore. And he wet on his waye reioysinge:
40 तर फिलिप अश्दोदमा देखा परे । तिनी कैसरिया नपुगुञ्जेलसम्म तिनले सबै सहरहरूमा सुसमाचार सुनाए ।
but Philip was founde at Azotus. And he walked thorow out ye countre preachynge in their cities tyll he came to Cesarea.
