२ राजाहरू 15

1 इस्राएलका राजा यारोबामको सत्ताइसौँ वर्षमा यहूदाका राजा अमस्याहका छोरा अजर्याहले राज्‍य गर्न थाले ।

In the seven and twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Azarias son of Amasias, king of Juda.

2 अजर्याहले राज्‍य गर्न सुरु गर्दा तिनी सोह्र वर्षका थिए, र तिनले यरूशलेममा बाउन्‍न वर्ष राज्य गरे । तिनकी आमाको नाउँ यकोल्याह थिए, र उनी यरूशलेमकी थिइन् ।

He was sixteen years old, when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Jechelia of Jerusalem.

3 आफ्ना पिता अमस्याहले गरेझैँ परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे ठिक थियो, तिनले त्यही गरे ।

And he did that which was pleasing before the Lord, according to all that his father Amasias had done.

4 तापनि डाँडाका थानहरू हटाइएनन् । मानिसहरूले अझै पनि डाँडाका थानहरूमा बलि चढाए र धूप बाले ।

But the high places he did not destroy: for the people sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.

5 परमप्रभुले राजालाई प्रहार गर्नुभयो ताकि आफ्‍नो मर्ने दिनसम्म नै तिनी कुष्ठरोगी भए र बेग्लै घरमा बसे । राजाका छोरा योतामले राजमहको रेखदेख गरे र देशमा जनतामाथि राज्‍य गरे ।

And the Lord struck the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and he dwelt in a free house apart: but Joatham the king’s soil governed the palace, and judged the people of the land.

6 अजर्याह, तिनले गरेका सबै कामको बारेमा यहूदाका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैनन् र?

And the rest of the acts of Azarias, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?

7 यसरी अजर्याह आफ्ना पर्खाहरूसित सुते । तिनीहरूले तिनलाई आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूसँगै दाऊदको सहरमा गाडे । तिनको ठाउँमा तिनका छोरा योताम राजा भए ।

And Azarias slept with his fathers: and they buried him with his ancestors in the city of David, and Joatham his son reigned in his stead.

8 यहूदाका राजा अजर्याहको अठतिसौँ वर्षमा यारोबामका छोरा जकरियाले सामरियाम बसेर इस्राएलमाथि छ महिना राज्‍य गरे ।

In the eight and thirtieth year of Azarias king of Juda, reigned Zacharias son of Jeroboam over Israel in Samaria six months:

9 आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूले गरेझैँ परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे खराब थियो, तिनले त्यही गरे । तिनी इस्राएललाई पाप गर्न लगाउने नबातका छोरा यारोबामका पापबाट फर्केनन् ।

And he did that which is evil before the Lord, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat who made Israel to sin.

10 याबेशका छोरा शल्लूमले जकरियाको विरुद्धमा षड्यन्त्र गरे, तिनलाई इब्लममा आक्रमण गरे र मारे । त्यसपछि तिनको ठाउँमा आफू राजा भए ।

And Sellum the son of Jabes conspired against him: and struck him publicly and killed him, and reigned in his place.

11 जकरियाका बारेमा भएका अरू सबैकुरा इस्राएलका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छन् ।

Now the rest of the acts of Zacharias, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?

12 परमप्रभुले येहूसँग यसो भनेर बोल्‍नुभएको उहाँको वचन यही थियो, “तेरा सन्तानहरू इस्राएलको राजगद्धिमा चौथो पुस्तासम्म बस्‍नेछन् ।” त्यस्तै हुन आयो ।

This was the word of the Lord, which he spoke to Jehu, saying: Thy children to the fourth generation shall sit upon the throne of Israel. And so it came to pass.

13 यहूदाका राजा अजर्याहको उनन्चालिसौँ वर्षमा याबेशका छोरा शल्लूमले राज्‍य गर्न थाले, र तिनले सामरियमा एक महिना मात्र राज्य गरे ।

Sellum the son of Jabes began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Azarias king of Juda: and reigned one month in Samaria.

14 गदीका छोरा मनहेम तिर्साबाट सामरियामा उक्ले । सामरियामा तिनले याबेशका छोरा शल्लूमलाई आक्रमण गरे। तिनले उनलाई मारे र उनको ठाउँमा आफू राजा भए ।

And Manahem the son of Gadi went up from Thersa: and he came into Samaria, and struck Sellum the son of Jabes in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

15 शल्लूमका बारेमा भएका अरू कुरा र तिनले गरेका षड्यन्त्रको बारेमा इस्राएलका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैन ।

And the rest of the acts of Sellum, and his conspiracy, which he made, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?

16 त्यसपछि मनहेमले तिफसा र तिर्साका सिमानाहरूमा भएका सबैलाई आक्रमण गरे, किनकि तिनीहरूले उनका लागि सहर खुला गरेनन् । त्यसैले तिनले त्‍यसलाई आक्रमण गरे र त्यस गाउँमा भएका सबै गर्भवती स्‍त्रीका पेट चिरे ।

Then Manahem destroyed Thapsa and all that were in it and the borders thereof from Thersa, because they would not open to him: and he slew all the women thereof that were with child, and ripped them up.

17 यहूदाका राजा अजर्याहको उनन्चालिसौँ वर्षमा गदीका छोरा मनहेमले इस्राएलमा राज्‍य सुरु गरे । तिनले सामरियामा दस वर्ष राज्य गरे ।

In the nine and thirtieth year of Azarias king of Juda, reigned Manahem son of Gadi over Israel ten years in Samaria.

18 परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे खराब थियो तिनले त्यही गरे । आफ्नो जीवनकालभरि तिनी इस्राएललाई पाप गर्न लगाउने नबातका छोरा यारोबामका पापबाट फर्केनन् ।

And he did that which was evil before the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin all his days.

19 तब अश्शूरका राजा पूल इस्राएलको विरुद्धमा आए, र इस्राएल राज्यलाई आफ्‍नो हात सुदृढ पार्नलाई पुलले आफूलाई सहयोग गरोस् भनेर मनहेमले पूललाई एक हजार तोडा चाँदी दिए ।

And Phul king of the Assyrians came into the land, and Manahem gave Phul a thousand talents of silver, to aid him and to establish him in the kingdom.

20 अश्शूरका राजालाई मनहेमले तिर्नुपर्ने पैसा तिनले इस्राएलबाट जबरदस्ती उठाउन हरेक धनी मानिसले पचास शेकेल चाँदी तिनलाई तिर्नुपर्ने आवश्‍यक्‍ता भयो । त्‍यसैले अश्शूरका राजा फर्केर गए र त्यस देशमा बसेनन् ।

And Manahem laid a tax upon Israel, on all that were mighty and rich, to give the king of the Assyrians, each man fifty sides of silver: so the king of the Assyrians turned back, and did not stay in the land.

21 मनहेमको सम्‍बन्‍धमा र तिनले गरेका सबै कामको बारेमा ती इस्राएलका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैनन् र?

And the rest of the acts of Manahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?

22 यसरी मनहेम आफ्ना पर्खाहरूसित सुते, र तिनका छोरा पकहीया तिनको ठाउँमा राजा भए ।

And Manahem slept with his fathers: and Phaceia his son reigned in his stead.

23 यहूदाका राजा अजर्याहको पन्ध्रौँ वर्षमा मनहेमका छोरा पकहीयाले सामरियामा बसेर इस्राएलमा राज्‍य सुरु गरे । तिनले दुई वर्ष राज्य गरे ।

In the fiftieth year of Azarias king of Juda reigned Phaceia the son of Manahem over Israel in Samaria two years.

24 परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे खराब थियो, तिनले त्यही गरे । इस्राएललाई पाप गराउन लगाउने नबातका छोरा यारोबामका पापलाई तिनले छाडेनन् ।

And he did that which was evil before the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin.

25 पकहीयाको एक जना पेकह नाउँ गरेका सेवक थिए जो रमल्याहका छोरा थिए, जसले तिनको विरुद्धमा षड्यन्त्र गरे । पेकहले गिलादका पचास जना मानिस आफ्नो साथमा लिएर सामरियामा राजदरबारको गढीभित्र पकहीया, अर्गोब र अरिहलाई मारे । पेकहले पकहीयालाई मारे र तिनको ठाउँमा आफू राजा भए ।

And Phacee the son of Romelia, his captain conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the tower of the king’s house, near Argob, and near Arie, and with him fifty men of the sons of the Galaadites, and he slew him and reigned in his stead.

26 पकहीया, तिनले गरेका कामका बारेमा ती इस्राएलका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैन ।

And the rest of the acts of Phaceia, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?

27 यहूदाका राजा अजर्याहको बाउन्‍नौँ वर्षमा रमल्याहका छोरा पेकहले सामरियामा बसेर इस्राएलमाथि राज्‍य सुरु गरे । तिनले बिस वर्ष राज्य गरे ।

In the two and fiftieth year of Azarias king of Juda reigned Phacee the son of Romelia over Israel in Samaria twenty years.

28 परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे खराब थियो, तिनले त्यही गरे । इस्राएललाई पाप गर्न लगाउने नबातका छोरा यारोबामका पापबाट तिनी फर्केनन् ।

And he did that which was evil before the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin.

29 इस्राएलका राजा पेकहको समयमा अश्शूरका राजा तिग्लत-पिलेसेर आए, र तिनले इयोन, हाबिल-बेथ-माका, यानोह, केदेश, हासोर, गिलाद, गालील र नप्‍तालीका सबै भूमि लिए । तिनले मानिसहरूलाई बन्‍दी बनाएर अश्शूर देशमा लगे ।

In the days of Phacee king of Israel came Theglathphalasar king of Assyria, and took Aion, and Abel Domum Maacha and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and all the land of Nephtali: and carried them captives into Assyria.

30 त्यसैले एलाहका छोरा होशियाले रमल्याहका छोरा पेकहको विरुद्धमा षड्यन्त्र गरे । तिनले उनलाई आक्रमण गरे र तिनलाई मारे । त्यसपछि उज्‍जियाहका छोरा योतामको बिसौँ वर्षमा तिनको ठाउँमा आफू राजा भए ।

Now Osee son of Ela conspired, and formed a plot against Phacee, the son of Romelia, and struck him, and slew him: and reigned in his stead in the twentieth year of Joatham the son of Ozias.

31 पेकहका सम्‍बन्‍धमा भएका अरू कुराहरू अनितिनले गरेका सबै कामको बारेमा इस्राएलका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैन् ।

But the rest of the acts of Phaces, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Israel?

32 इस्राएलका राजा रमल्याहका छोरा पेकहको दोस्रो वर्षमा यहूदाका राजा अजर्याहका छोरा योतामले राज्‍य सुरु गरे ।

In the second year of Phacee the son of Romelia king of Israel reigned Joatham son of Ozias king of Juda.

33 तिनले राज्‍य गर्न सुरु गर्दा तिनी पच्‍चिस वर्षका थिए । तिनले यरूशलेममा सोह्र वर्ष राज्य गरे । तिनकी आमाको नाउँ यरूशा थियो । तिनी सादोककी छोरी थिइन् ।

He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Jerusa, the daughter of Sadoc.

34 परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे ठिक थियो योतामले त्यही गरे । तिनले आफ्ना पिता अजर्याहले गरेका सबै उदाहरणको अनुसरण गरे ।

And he did that which was right before the Lord: according to all that his father Ozias had done, so did he.

35 तापनि डाँडाका थानहरू हटाइएनन् । मानिसहरूले अझै पनि डाँडाका थानहरूका बलि चढाए र धूप बाले । योतामले परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको माथिल्लो मूल ढोका निर्माण गरे ।

But the high places he took not away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places: he built the highest gate of the house of the Lord.

36 योतामको सम्‍बन्‍धमा भएका अरू कुराहरू र तिनले गरेका सबै कामका बारेमा ती यहूदाका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैनन् र?

But the rest of the acts of Joatham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?

37 ती दिनमा परमप्रभुले यहूदाको विरुद्धमा अरामका राजा रसीन र रमल्याहका छोरा पेकहलाई पठाउन सुरु गर्नुभयो ।

In those days the Lord began to send into Juda Basin king of Syria, and Phacee the son of Romelia.

38 योताम आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूसित सुते र तिनका पुर्खा दाऊदको सहरमा तिनी आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूसँगै गाडिए । त्यसपछि तिनको ठाउँमा तिनका छोरा आहाज राजा भए ।

And Joatham slept with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David his father, and Achaz his son reigned in his stead.
