२ इतिहास 11
1 जब रहबाम यरूशलेममा आइपुगे, तब तिनले रहबामको राज्य पुनःर्स्थापित गराउनलाई इस्राएलको विरुद्धमा युद्ध गर्नलाई यहूदा र बेन्यामीनका घरानाका एक लाख असी हजार योद्धाहरू भेला गरे ।
And he came Rehoboam Jerusalem and he called together [the] house of Judah and Benjamin one hundred and eighty thousand chosen [man] maker[s] of war to do battle with Israel to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam.
2 तर परमप्रभुको वचन परमेश्वरका मानिस शमायाहकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Shemaiah [the] man of God saying.
3 “सोलोमनका छोरा यहूदाका राजा रहबाम, अनि यहूदा र बेन्यामिनका सबै इस्राएललाई यसो भन्,
Say to Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon [the] king of Judah and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin saying.
4 'परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “आफ्नै दाजुभाइका विरुद्धमा तिमीहरूले आक्रमण गर्नु वा युद्ध गर्नुहुँदैन । हरेक व्यक्ति आआफ्नै घरमा फर्केर जानुपर्छ, किनकि मैले नै यसो हुन दिएको हो” ।’” यसैले तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुका वचन पालन गरे, र यारोबामको विरुद्धमा आक्रमण गर्नबाट पछि हटे ।
Thus he says Yahweh not you must go up and not you must do battle with countrymen your return everyone to own house his for from with me it has occurred the thing this and they obeyed [the] words of Yahweh and they turned back from going against Jeroboam.
5 रहबाम यरूशलेममा बसोबास गरे र सुरक्षाको निम्ति यहूदामा सहरहरू निर्माण गरे ।
And he dwelt Rehoboam in Jerusalem and he built cities to fortification in Judah.
6 तिनले बेथहेलेम, एताम, तको,
And he built Beth-lehem and Etam and Tekoa.
7 बेथ सर, सोखो, अदुल्लाम,
And Beth Zur and Socoh and Adullam.
8 गात, मारेशा, जीप,
And Gath and Mareshah and Ziph.
9 अदोरेम, लाकीश, आजेका,
And Adoraim and Lachish and Azekah.
10 सोरा, अय्यालोन र हेब्रोन निर्माण गरे । यहूदा र बेन्यामीनका किल्लाबन्दी गरिएका सहरहरू यि नै थिए ।
And Zorah and Aijalon and Hebron which [were] in Judah and in Benjamin cities of fortifications.
11 तिनले ती गढीहरू किल्लाबन्दी गरे र तिनमा कमाण्डरहरू नियुक्त गरे । त्यहाँ तिनले खानेकुरा, तेल र दाखमद्य पनि तिनमा सञ्चय गरिदिए ।
And he strengthened the fortifications and he put in them commanders and supplies of food and oil and wine.
12 तिनले सबै सहरमा ढाल र भालाहरू राखे, र तिनीहरूलाई धेरै बलियो बनाए । यसरी यहूदा र बेन्यामीन तिनका भए ।
And [were] in every city and a city body shields and spears and he made strong them to abundance exceedingly and it belonged to him Judah and Benjamin.
13 जम्मै इस्राएलमा भएका चारैतिरबाट पुजारीहरू र लेवीहरू आआफ्ना सिमानाहरूबाट तिनीकहाँ गए ।
And the priests and the Levites who [were] in all Israel they took their stand at him from all territory their.
14 किनकि लेवीहरूले यहूदा र यरूशलेममा आउनको निम्ति आफ्ना खर्कहरू र जग्गाजमिन छोडे, किनकि किनकि यारोबाम र तिनका छोराहरूले तिनीहरूलाई लखेटेका थिए, ताकि तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको पुजारीको काम गर्न पाएनन् ।
For they forsook the Levites pasture lands their and property their and they went to Judah and to Jerusalem for he had rejected them Jeroboam and sons his from serving as priests to Yahweh.
15 डाँडाका अल्गा थानहरू र आफूले बनाएका बाख्रा र बाछाका मूर्तिहरू पूजा गर्न यारोबामले आफ्नै पुजारीहरू नियुक्त गरे ।
And he appointed for himself priests for the high places and for the goats and for the calves which he had made.
16 परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वरलाई खोज्न आफ्नो हृदयहरू दिएका इस्राएलका सबै कुलबाट मानिसहरू तिनीहरूको पछि आए । तिनीहरू परमप्रभु आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्वरलाई बलिदान चढाउन यरूशलेममा आए ।
And after them from all [the] tribes of Israel those [who] set heart their to seek Yahweh [the] God of Israel they came Jerusalem to sacrifice to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.
17 यसैले तिनीहरूले यहूदाको राज्य बलियो बनाए र तीन वर्षसम्म सोलोमनका छोरो रहबामलाई समर्थन गरे, र त्यस बेला तिनीहरू दाऊद र सोलोमनका चालअनुसार तीन वर्षसम्म हिंडे ।
And they strengthened [the] kingdom of Judah and they strengthened Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon for years three for they walked in [the] way of David and Solomon for years three.
18 रहबामले आफ्नो निम्ति एउटी पत्नी ल्याएः तिनी महलत थिइन् । तिनका बुबा दाऊदका छोरा यरीमोत थिए र आमाचाहिं यिशैका छोरा एलीआबकी छोरी अबीहेल थिइन् ।
And he took for himself Rehoboam a wife Mahalath ([the] daughter of *Q(K)*) Jerimoth [the] son of David Abihail [the] daughter of Eliab [the] son of Jesse.
19 उनीले तिनको निम्ति छोराहरू जन्माइन्: येऊश, शमरयाह र साहम ।
And she bore to him sons Jeush and Shemariah and Zaham.
20 महलतपछि तिनले अब्शालोमकी छोरी माकालाई विवाह गरे । उनले तिनको निम्ति अबिया, अत्तै, जीजा र शलोमीत जन्माइन् ।
And after her he took Maacah [the] daughter of Absalom and she bore to him Abijah and Attai and Ziza and Shelomith.
21 रहबामले आफ्ना सबै पत्नीहरू र उपपत्नीहरूलाई भन्दा धेरै माया माकालाई गरे (तिनले अठाह्र जना पत्नीहरू र साठी जना उपपत्नीहरू ल्याए, र तिनका अट्ठाईस जना छोरा र साठी जना छोरी थिए) ।
And he loved Rehoboam Maacah [the] daughter of Absalom more than all wives his and concubines his for wives eight-teen he had taken and concubines sixty and he fathered twenty and eight sons and sixty daughters.
22 रहबामले माकाका छोरा अबियालाई दाजुभाइका प्रमुख अगुवा नियुक्त गरे । तिनले उनलाई राजा बनाउने बिचार गरेका थिए ।
And he appointed to the chief Rehoboam Abijah [the] son of Maacah to leader among brothers his for to make king him.
23 रहबामले बुद्धिमानीपूर्वक राज्य गरे । तिनले आफ्ना सबै छोराहरूलाई यहूदा र बेन्यामीनका किल्लाबन्दी गरिएका जम्मै सहरमा पठाए । तिनले उनीहरूका निम्ति प्रशस्त खानेकुरा दिए र तिनीहरूका निम्ति धेरै जना पत्नीहरू खोजिदिए ।
And he acted wisely and he distributed some of all sons his to all [the] lands of Judah and Benjamin to all [the] cities of fortifications and he gave to them food to abundance and he sought a multitude of wives.
