१ कोरिन्थी 9
1 के म स्वतन्त्र छैनँ? के म प्रेरित होइनँ? के मैले येशू हाम्रा प्रभुलाई देखेको छैनँ? के तिमीहरू परमप्रभुमा मेरा हातका सिप होइनौ र?
Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my workmanship in the Lord?
2 म अरूको लागि प्रेरित नभए तापनि तिमीहरूको लागि त हुँ । तिमीहरू नै परमप्रभुमा मेरो प्रेरितको कामको प्रमाण हौ ।
If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you. For you are the proof of my apostleship in the Lord.
3 यो मलाई जाँच्न खोज्नेहरूलाई जवाफ होः
This is my defense to those who examine me:
4 के हामीलाई खाने र पिउने अधिकार छैन?
Do we not have the right to eat and drink?
5 के अरू प्रेरितहरू, प्रभुका भाइहरू र केफासले गरेजस्तै हामीले पनि आफूसँग विश्वासी पत्नी लिएर हिँड्ने अधिकार छैन?
Do we not have the right to take along with us a wife who is a believer, as do the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
6 अथवा के बारनाबास र मैले मात्र काम गर्नु पर्छ?
Or is it only Barnabas and I who must work?
7 कसले आफ्नै खर्चमा सिपाहीको रूपमा सेवा गर्छ? कसले दाखबारी लगाएर त्यसको फल खाँदैन र? कसले गाईवस्तु पालेर तिनीहरूबाट दूध पिउँदैन र?
Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink milk from it?
8 के मैले यी कुराहरू मानवीय अधिकारको आधारमा भनिरहेको छु? के व्यवस्थाले पनि यसै गर भन्दैन र?
Do I say these things based on human authority? Does not the law also say this?
9 मोशाको व्यवस्थामा यस्तो लेखिएको छ, “दाइँ गर्दा गोरुलाई मोहोला नलगाओ ।” के परमेश्वरले साँच्चै गोरुहरूको मात्र वास्ता गर्नुहुन्छ?
For it is written in the law of Moses, “Do not put a muzzle on an ox when it is treading out the grain.” Is it really the oxen that God cares about?
10 के उहाँले हामीहरूका निम्ति नै यो बोलिरहनुभएको छैन र? यो हाम्रो निम्ति लेखिएको हो । किनभने खेत जोत्नेले बालीको आशा राखेर नै जोत्नुपर्छ र बाली चुट्नेले पनि बाली भित्र्याउने आशले नै चुट्नुपर्छ ।
Is he not speaking about us? It was written for us, because the one who plows should plow in hope, and the one who threshes should thresh in the expectation of sharing in the harvest.
11 यदि हामीले तिमीहरूका बीचमा आत्मिक कुराहरू छर्यौँ भने तिमीहरूबाट भौतिक कुराहरूको कटनी गर्ने काम अति भयो र?
If we sowed spiritual things among you, is it too much for us to reap material things from you?
12 यदि तिमीहरूबाट अरूहरूले हकको दाबी गर्छन् भने के हामीलाई त्योभन्दा बढता हक छैन र? तापनि हामीले यो हकको दाबी गरेनौँ । बरु, ख्रीष्टको सुसमाचारमा बाधा नबनौँ भनेर हामीले सबै सह्यौँ ।
If others exercised this right from you, do we not have even more? But we did not claim this right. Instead we endured everything rather than be a hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
13 के मन्दिरमा सेवा गर्नेले मन्दिरबाट नै खानेकुरा पाउँछन् भन्ने तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? वेदीमा सेवा गर्नेले वेदीमा चढाइएको कुराको हिस्सा पाउँछ भन्ने तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन र?
Do you not know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple? Do you not know that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?
14 त्यसरी नै सुसमाचार प्रचार गर्नेले त्यसैबाट जीविका चलाओस् भनेर परमप्रभुले आज्ञा गर्नुभयो ।
In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living from the gospel.
15 तर मैले यी कुनै पनि हकहरूको दाबी गरिनँ । र मेरो लागि केही गरियोस् भनेर म यो लेख्दिनँ । यो गर्व गर्ने कुरादेखि कसैले मलाई वञ्चित गर्छ भने म बरु मर्न तयार छु ।
But I have not claimed any of these rights. And I do not write this so something might be done for me. I would rather die than anyone deprive me of this boast.
16 मैले सुसमाचार प्रचार गरेँ भनेर मैले घमण्ड गर्ने कारण नै छैन, किनभने मैले यो गर्नुपर्छ । यदि मैले सुसमाचार प्रचार गरिनँ भने मलाई धिक्कार छ ।
For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason for boasting, because I must do this. And woe be to me if I do not preach the gospel!
17 किनकि यदि मैले आफूखुसी यसो गरेको छु भने मैले इनाम पाउँछु । तर यो आफूखुसी होइन भने मलाई सुम्पिएको जिम्मेवारी अझ पनि मसँग बाँकी नै छ ।
For if I do this willingly, I have a reward. But if not willingly, I still have a responsibility that was entrusted to me.
18 त्यसो भए मेरो इनाम के हो? यही हो कि जब म प्रचार गर्छु, सित्तैँमा सुसमाचार प्रचार गरूँ र सुसमाचरमा मेरो हकको पूर्ण प्रयोग नगरूँ ।
What then is my reward? That when I preach, I may offer the gospel without charge and so not take full use of my right in the gospel.
19 किनकि म सबै कुरामा स्वतन्त्र भए तापनि धेरैलाई जित्न सकौँ भनेर म सबैको दास भएँ ।
For though I am free from all, I became a servant to all, in order that I might win more.
20 यहूदीहरूलाई जित्नको लागि म यहूदीजस्तै बनेँ । व्यवस्थाको अधीनमा भएकाहरूलाई जित्नको निम्ति म व्यवस्थाको अधीनमा भएको जस्तै बनेँ । म आफैँ व्यवस्थाको अधीनमा नभए तापनि मैले यसो गरेँ ।
To the Jews I became like a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law, I became like one under the law in order to win those under the law. I did this even though I myself was not under the law.
21 म आफैँ परमेश्वरको व्यवस्थाबाट बाहिर नभएर ख्रीष्टको व्यवस्थामा भए तापनि व्यवस्थाबाट बाहिर भएकाहरूलाई जित्नको निम्ति म व्यवस्थाबाट बाहिर भएजस्तै बनेँ । व्यवस्थाबाट बाहिर भएकाहरूलाई जित्न सकूँ भनेर मैले यसो गरेँ ।
To those outside the law, I became like one outside the law, although I was not outside the law of God myself, but under the law of Christ. I did this so that I may win those outside the law.
22 कमजोरहरूलाई जित्न सकूँ भनेर कमजोरहरूको लागि म कमजोर बनेँ । सबै उपायहरूद्वारा केहीलाई बचाउन सकूँ भनेर म सबै मानिसहरूका लागि सबै कुरा बनेको छु ।
To the weak I became weak, so that I may win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by all means save some.
23 सुसमाचारको खातिर म सबै कुराहरू गर्छु ताकि यसका आशिष्हरूमा म सहभागी हुन सकूँ ।
I do all things for the gospel's sake, so that I may participate in its blessings.
24 दौडमा सबै मानिसहरू दौडिन्छन्, तर एक जनाले मात्र पुरस्कार पाउँछ भन्ने कुरा के तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? त्यसैले, पुरस्कार पाउने गरी दौड ।
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run the race, but that only one receives the prize? So run to win the prize.
25 एउटा खेलाडी सबै तालिमहरूमा आत्मसंयमी हुन्छ । तिनीहरूले नाश हुने माला पाउनको लागि यसो गर्छन्, तर हामी नाश नहुने माला पाऔँ भनेर दौडन्छौँ ।
Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a wreath that is perishable, but we do it to receive one that is imperishable.
26 त्यसैले, म बिनाउदेश्य वा हावामा दौडन्नँ ।
Therefore I do not run without purpose or box by beating the air.
27 तर म आफ्नो शरीरलाई वशमा राख्छु र यसलाई दासजस्तै बनाउँछु, ताकि प्रचार गरेपछि म आफैँचाहिँ अयोग्य नबनूँ ।
But I subdue my body and make it a slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself may not be disqualified.
