१ कोरिन्थी 6
1 तिमीहरूमध्ये एक जनाको अर्को भाइसँग झगडा छ भने के त्यसले न्यायको लागि विश्वासीहरूको अगाडि नगएर विश्वास नगर्ने न्यायाधीशको अगाडि जाने आँट गर्छ?
Dare any of you, hauing businesse against an other, be iudged vnder the vniust, and not vnder the Saintes?
2 के विश्वासीहरूले संसारको न्याय गर्छन् भन्ने तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? अनि तिमीहरूले संसारको न्याय गर्ने हो भने महत्त्वहीन कुराहरूलाई मिलाउन सक्दैनौ र?
Doe ye not knowe, that the Saintes shall iudge the worlde? If the worlde then shalbe iudged by you, are ye vnworthie to iudge the smallest matters?
3 के हामीले स्वर्गदूतहरूको न्याय गर्नेछौँ भन्ने तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? त्यसो भए, यस जीवनका मामलाहरूलाई हामीले कति बढी न्याय गर्न सक्छौँ?
Knowe ye not that we shall iudge the Angels? howe much more, things that perteine to this life?
4 त्यसो हो भने तिमीहरूले नै दैनिक जीवनसित सम्बन्धित कुराहरूको न्याय गर्नुपर्छ । त्यस्ता मुद्धाहरू किन ती मानिसहरूका अगाडि राख्छौ, जसको मण्डलीमा कुनै प्रतिष्ठा छैन ।
If then ye haue iudgements of things perteining to this life, set vp them which are least esteemed in the Church.
5 तिमीहरूलाई शर्ममा पार्न म यसो भन्दछु । के तिमीहरूको माझमा दाजुभाइका बिचमा भएका झगडाहरू मिलाउन सक्ने बुद्धिमान् मानिस कोही छैन?
I speake it to your shame. Is it so that there is not a wise man among you? no not one, that can iudge betweene his brethren?
6 तर यस्तो भएको छ, एक विश्वासी अर्को विश्वासीको विरुद्धमा अदालत जान्छ र अविश्वासी न्यायाधीशको अगि मुद्धा राख्दछ ।
But a brother goeth to law with a brother, and that vnder the infidels.
7 वास्तवमा ख्रीष्टियानहरूका बिचमा कुनै पनि झगडा हुनु नै तिमीहरूको हार हो । बरु, किन अन्याय नसहनु? बरु, किन आफैँलाई ठगिन नदिनु?
Nowe therefore there is altogether infirmitie in you, in that yee goe to lawe one with another: why rather suffer ye not wrong? why rather susteine yee not harme?
8 तर तिमीहरूले अरूको अन्याय गरेका र ठगेका छौ, अनि तिनीहरू तिमीहरूका आफ्नै दाजुभाइहरू हुन्!
Nay, yee your selues doe wrong, and doe harme, and that to your brethren.
9 अधर्मीहरूले परमेश्वरको राज्यमा उत्तराधिकार पाउदैनन् भनेर के तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? झुटको विश्वास नगर । अनैतिक यौन-सम्बन्धहरू मूर्तिपूजकहरू, व्यभिचारीहरू, पुरुषगामीहरू, समलिङ्गीहरू,
Knowe yee not that the vnrighteous shall not inherite the kingdome of God? Be not deceiued: neither fornicatours, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor wantons, nor buggerers,
10 चोरहरू, लोभीहरू, मतवालाहरू, निन्दा गर्नेहरू, र ठगहरू कोही पनि परमेश्वरको राज्यको उत्तराधिकारी हुनेछैनन् ।
Nor theeues, nor couetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners shall inherite the kingdome of God.
11 अनि तिमीहरूमध्ये कोही यस्तै थियौ । तर तिमीहरू शुद्ध परिएका छौ, तर तिमीहरू परमेश्वरमा अर्पण गरिएका छौ, येशू ख्रीष्टको नाउँमा हाम्रा परमेश्वरको आत्माद्वारा तिमीहरू परमेश्वरमा धर्मी ठहराइएका छौ ।
And such were some of you: but yee are washed, but yee are sanctified, but yee are iustified in the Name of the Lord Iesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12 “सबै कुरा मेरो निम्ति न्यायसङ्गत छन्”, तर सबै कुरा फाइदाजनक छैनन् । “सबै कुरा मेरो निम्ति न्यायसङ्गत छन्”, तर म तिनीहरूमध्ये कुनै कुराको अधीनमा हुन्नँ ।
All thinges are lawfull vnto mee, but all thinges are not profitable. I may doe all things, but I will not be brought vnder the power of any thing.
13 “खाना पेटको निम्ति हो, र पेट खानको निम्ति हो”, तर परमेश्वरले ती दुवैलाई नाश गर्नुहुनेछ । शरीर अनैतिक यौन सम्बन्धको लागि होइन । यसको साटो शरीर प्रभुको लागि हो, र प्रभुले शरीरको लागि जुटाउनुहुन्छ ।
Meates are ordeined for the bellie, and the belly for the meates: but God shall destroy both it, and them. Nowe the bodie is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the bodie.
14 परमेश्वरले प्रभुलाई जीवित पार्नुभयो र हामीलाई पनि उहाँको शक्तिद्वारा जीवित पार्नुहुनेछ ।
And God hath also raised vp the Lord, and shall raise vs vp by his power.
15 तिमीहरूका शरीरहरू ख्रीष्टका अङ्गहरू हुन् भन्ने के तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? तब के मैले ख्रीष्टका अङ्गहरूलाई छुटाएर तिनीहरूलाई वेश्यासँग जोडौँ? त्यसो नहोस्!
Knowe yee not, that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 वेश्यासँग जोडिने व्यक्ति त्यससँग एउटै शरीर हुन्छ भन्ने के तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन? धर्मशास्त्रले भन्छ, “दुई जना एउटै शरीर हुन्छन् ।”
Doe ye not knowe, that he which coupleth himselfe with an harlot, is one body? for two, sayeth he, shalbe one flesh.
17 प्रभुसित जोडिने व्यक्ति उहाँसँग आत्मामा एउटै हुन्छ ।
But hee that is ioyned vnto the Lord, is one spirite.
18 यौन अनैतिकतादेखि भाग! कुनै पनि व्यक्तिले गरेका अन्य सबै पापहरू शरीरदेखि बाहिर गर्दछ, तर यौन अनैतिकताको पाप गर्नेले उसको आफ्नै शरीरको विरुद्धमा पाप गर्दछ ।
Flee fornication: euery sinne that a man doeth, is without the bodie: but hee that committeth fornication, sinneth against his owne bodie.
19 तिमीहरूको शरीर पवित्र आत्माको मन्दिर हो भन्ने कुरा के तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन, जो तिमीहरूभित्र रहनुहुन्छ, जसलाई तिमीहरूले परमेश्वरबाट पाएका छौ? तिमीहरू आफ्नै होइनौ भन्ने के तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छैन?
Knowe yee not, that your body is the temple of the holy Ghost, which is in you, whom ye haue of God? and yee are not your owne.
20 किनकि तिमीहरू मोल तिरेर किनिएका थियौ । त्यसकारण, तिमीहरूको शरीरमा परमेश्वरलाई महिमा देओ! [टिपोटः केही पुराना प्रतिलिपिहरूमा यस्तो लेखिएको छ] यसकारण तिमीहरूको शरीर र आत्मामा परमेश्वरको महिमा गर, जुन परमेश्वरको हो । तर उत्तम प्रतिलिपिहरूमा यो छैन ।
For yee are bought for a price: therefore glorifie God in your bodie, and in your spirit: for they are Gods.
