१ कोरिन्थी 5
1 तिमीहरूका बिचमा व्यभिचार छ भन्ने हामीले खबर पाएका छौँ । यस्तो खालको व्यभिचार त अन्यजातिहरूमा पनि स्वीकार्य हुँदैन । तिमीहरूमध्ये एक जना आफ्नै बुबाकी पत्नीसँग सुतिरहेको छ भन्ने खबर हामीले पाएका छौँ ।
Actually is reported among you sexual immorality, and such sexual immorality as not even among the pagans (is named *K*) so as for [the] wife one of the father to have;
2 तिमीहरू यति अहङ्कारी छौ! के तिमीहरूले शोक गर्नुपर्ने होइन र? यस्तो काम गर्ने व्यक्तिलाई तिमीहरूका माझबाट हटाइनुपर्दछ ।
And you yourselves puffed up are and not rather mourned so that (may be taken *N(k)O*) out of midst of you the [one] the deed this (having performed? *N(k)O*)
3 किनभने शरीरमा म अनुपस्थित भए तापनि आत्मामा म तिमीहरूसँगै उपस्थित छु; त्यस्तो काम गर्नेलाई म त्यहीँ भएजस्तै गरेर मैले अगिबाटै न्याय गरिसकेको छु ।
I myself indeed though (as *K*) being absent in body being present however in spirit already have judged as being present the [one] so this having produced
4 जब तिमीहरू येशू प्रभुको नाउँमा एक साथ भेला हुन्छौ, येशू प्रभुको शक्तिमा मेरो आत्मा त्यहाँ उपस्थित हुन्छ; त्यस मानिसलाई मैले अगि नै न्याय गरेको छु ।
in the name of the Lord our Jesus (Christ *KO*) having been gathered together you and me in spirit with the power of the Lord of us Jesus (Christ *K*)
5 शरीरको विनाशको निम्ति त्यस मानिसलाई मैले शैतानको हातमा सुम्पेको छु, ताकि प्रभुको दिनमा त्यस मानिसको आत्माचाहिँ बाँचोस् ।
to deliver such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord (Jesus. *KO*)
6 तिमीहरूको घमण्ड ठिक होइन । के थोरै खमिरले पुरै रोटीलाई खमिरी बनाउँछ भन्ने तिमीहरू जान्दैनौ?
Not good [is] the boasting of you. Not know you that a little leaven all the lump leavens?
7 पुराना खमिरबाट आफैलाई शुद्ध गर ताकि तिमीहरू नयाँ मुछेको पिठो बन्न सक; फलस्वरूप तिमीहरू अखमिरी रोटी बन्न सक । किनभने हाम्रा निस्तार-चाडको थुमा ख्रीष्टको बलिदान भइसकेको छ ।
do cleanse out (therefore *K*) the old leaven, that you may be a new lump even as you are unleavened; Also for the Passover lamb of us (for us *K*) has been sacrificed Christ.
8 त्यसैकारण, पुरानो खमिर अर्थात् दुष्टता तथा खराब आचरणसाथ होइन, बरु इमानदार तथा सत्यताको अखमिरी रोटीका साथ चाड मनाऔँ ।
so that we may celebrate the feast not with leaven old not with leaven of malice and wickedness but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and of truth.
9 मेरो पत्रमा मैले तिमीहरूलाई यौनसम्बन्धी अनैतिक मानिसहरूसँग घुलमिल नहुनु भनेर लेखेँ ।
I wrote to you in the letter not to associate with [the] sexually immoral,
10 त्यसको अर्थ, संसारमा भएका अनैतिक मानिसहरू वा लोभीहरू वा ठगाहाहरू वा मूर्तिपूजकहरूसँग बिल्कुलै सङ्गत नगर्नू भनेको होइन, किनभने तिनीहरूबाट टाढा रहनको निम्ति तिमीहरू यस संसारबाट नै निस्केर जानुपर्ने हुन्छ ।
(and *k*) not at all with the sexually immoral world of this or with the covetous (and *N(k)O*) with swindlers or with idolaters — since (you have been obliged *N(k)O*) then would from the world to depart.
11 तर अहिले आफैलाई प्रभुमा भाइ ठान्ने तर यौन अनैतिक वा लोभी वा मूर्तिपूजक वा गालीगलौज गर्ने वा पियक्कड वा ठगाहासँग सङ्गत नगर्नू भनेर लेखिरहेछु । यस्ता मानिसहरूसँग बसेर खानसमेत नखाओ ।
(now *N(k)O*) however I wrote to you not to associate with [him] if anyone a brother being designated he shall be sexually immoral or a coveter or an idolater or verbal abuser or a drunkard or swindler; with such a one not even to eat.
12 किनभने म किन मण्डली बाहिरकाहरूको न्याय गर्ने काममा संलग्न हुनु? बरु, के तिमीहरूले नै मण्डलीभित्र हुनेहरूको न्याय गर्नुपर्ने होइन र?
What for [is it] to me (and *k*) those outside to judge? Surely those within you yourselves do judge?
13 तर बाहिरकाहरूको न्याय परमेश्वरले गर्नुहुन्छ । “तिमीहरूका माझबाट दुष्ट व्यक्तिलाई हटाओ ।”
Those however outside God (will judge? *NK(o)*) (and *k*) (do yourselves expel *N(k)O*) the evil out from you them.
