1 इस्साखारका चार छोराहरू तोला, पूवा, याशूब र शिम्रोन थिए ।
Issachar’s four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2 तोलाका छोराहरू उज्जी, रपायाह, यरीएल, यहमै, यिब्साम र शमूएल थिए । तोलाका सन्तानबाट तिनीहरू आ-आफ्ना पिताहरूका घरानाहरूका मुखियाहरू थिए, र आफ्ना पुस्ताका बिचमा तिनीहरू शक्तिशाली योद्धाहरूका रूपमा सूचीकृत थिए । दाऊदको समयमा तिनीहरूको संख्या २२,६०० थियो ।
Tola’s sons were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel (OR, Shemuel). They were all leaders of the clans [descended from] them. In the record of Tola’s descendants were the names of 22,600 men who served in the army during the time that David was the king [of Israel].
3 उज्जीका छोरा यिज्यहि थिए । यिज्यहिका छोराहरू मिखाएल, ओबदिया, योएल र यिश्याह थिए । यी पाँच जना सबै वंशका मुखियाहरू थिए ।
Uzzi’s son was Izrahiah. Izrahiah’s five sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. Izrahiah and his sons were all leaders of their clans.
4 तिनीहरूका साथै तिनीहरूसँग पुर्खाका वंशअनुसार युद्ध गर्नलाई छत्तिस हजार योद्धाहरू थिए, किनकी तिनीहरूका धेरै पत्नीहरू र छोराहरू थिए ।
In the record of Izrahiah’s descendants were the names of 36,000 men who served in the army because they had many wives and children.
5 इस्साखारका सबै वंशबाट तिनीहरूका आफन्तहरू योद्धाहरू थिए र तिनीहरूका वंशमा सूचीकृत भएअनुसार तिनीहरूका सङ्ख्या जम्मा सतासी हजार योद्धा थिए ।
In the records of the clans descended from Issachar were the names of 87,000 men who served in the army.
6 बेन्यामीनका तिन जना छोराहरू बेला, बेकेर र येदीएल थिए ।
[Some of the] sons of Benjamin were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.
7 बेलाका पाँच छोराहरू यसम्बोन, उज्जी, उज्जीएल, यरीमोत र ईरी थिए । तिनीहरू सिपाहीहरू र आ-आफ्ना पिताका घरानाहरूका मुखियाहरू थिए । तिनीहरूका पुर्खाका वंशमा सूचीकृत भएअनुसार तिनीहरूका योद्धाहरूको संख्या २२,०३४ थियो ।
Bela’s five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were all leaders of clans. In the records of the clans descended from Bela there were names of 22,034 men who served in the army.
8 बेकेरका छोराहरू जमीरा, योआश, एलीएजर, एल्योएनै, ओम्री, यरेमोत, अबिया, अनातोत र आलेमेत थिए । यी सबै तिनका छोराहरू थिए ।
Beker’s sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth.
9 तिनीहरूका पुर्खाका घरानाहरूका मुखियाहरूको वंशहरू र योद्धाहरू सङ्ख्या २०,२०० र थिए ।
In the records of the clans descended from Beker were the names of 20,200 men and leaders of the clans who served in the army.
10 येदीएलका छोरा बिल्हान थिए । बिल्हानका छोराहरू येऊश, बेन्यामीन, एहूद, केनाना, जेतान, तर्शीश र अहीशहर थिए ।
Jediael’s son was Bilhan. Bilhan’s sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 यी सबै येदीएलका छोराहरू थिए । तिनीहरूको वंशको सूचीमा १७,२०० घरानाका मुखियाहरू र सैनिक सेवाको निम्ति योद्धाहरू थिए ।
They were all leaders of clans descended from them. There were 17,200 of them who served in the army.
12 (शुप्पीहरू र हुप्पीहरू इरका छोराहरू थिए, र हुशीहरू अहेरका छोराहरू थिए ।)
Shuppim and Huppim were descendants of Ir. [One of] the descendants of Aher was Hushim.
13 नप्तालीका छोराहरू यहसेल, गुनी, येसेर र शिल्लेम थिए । यी बिल्हाका नातिहरू थिए ।
Naphtali’s sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. They were all descendants of [Jacob’s slave wife] Bilhah.
14 मनश्शेका अस्रीएल नाम गरेका छोरा थिए, जसलाई अरामी उपपत्नीले जन्माएकी थिइन् । तिनले पनि गिलादका पिता माकीरलाई जन्माइन् ।
[This is a list of] Manasseh’s descendants. Manasseh had a slave wife who was from Syria. She was the mother of Asriel and Makir. Makir was the father of Gilead.
15 माकीरले हुप्पीहरू र शुप्पीहरूबाट एउटी पत्नी ल्याए । माकीरकी बहिनीको नाउँ माका थियो । मनश्शेका अर्का सन्तानको नाउँ सलोफाद थियो, जसका छोरीहरू मात्र थिए ।
Makir [had two wives]. They were from the clans of Huppim and Shuppim. One of Makir’s wives was named Maacah. Another descendant [of Makir] was Zelophehad. Zelophehad [had no sons; he] had only daughters.
16 माकीरकी पत्नी माकाले एउटा छोरो जन्माइन् र तिनको नाउँ तिनले पेरेश राखिन् । तिनका भाइको नाउँ शेरेश थियो, र तिनका छोराहरू ऊलाम र राकेम थिए ।
Makir’s wife Maacah gave birth to two sons whom she named Peresh and Sheresh. Sheresh’s sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 ऊलामका छोरा बदान थिए । मनश्शेका नाति माकीरका छोरा गिलादका सन्तानहरू यी नै थिए ।
Ulam’s son was Bedan. All those [men were considered to be] descendants of Gilead, who was the son of Makir and grandson of Manasseh.
18 गिलादकी बहिनी हम्मोलेकेतले ईशोद, अबीएजेर र महलाल लाई जन्माइन् ।
Makir’s sister name was Hammoleketh who was the mother of Ishdod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 शमीदाका छोराहरू अहियन, शकेम, लिखी र अनीआम थिए ।
[One son of Gilead was] Shemida, whose sons were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 एफ्राइमका सन्तानहरू यसप्रकार थिएः एफ्राइमका छोरा शूतेहल थिए । शूतेहलका छोरा बेरेद थिए । बेरेदका छोरा तहत थिए । तहतका छोरा एलादा थिए । एलदका छोरा छोरा तहत थिए ।
[This is a list of] the descendants of Ephraim. One son of Ephraim’s was Shuthelah. Shuthelah’s son was Bered. Bered’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Eleadah. Eleadah’s son was [also named] Tahath.
21 तहतका छोरा जाबाद थिए । जाबादका छोरा शूतेहल थिए । (एसेर र एलादलाई चाहिं गातका मनिसहरूका गाईबस्तु लुट्न जाँदा त्यहाँका आदिवासीले मारे ।)
Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah. [Ephraim’s other sons, ] Ezer and Elead, went to Gath [city] to steal some cows and sheep. But they were both killed by some of the men from that city.
22 तिनीहरूका पिता एफ्राइमले तिनीहरूको निम्ति धेरै दिनसम्म शोक गरे, र तिनका दाजुभाइ तिनलाई सान्त्वना दिन आए ।
Their father Ephraim cried/mourned for them for many days, and his family came to comfort him.
23 तिनले आफ्नी पत्नीसित सहवास गरे । तिनी गर्भवती भइन् र एउटा छोरा जन्माइन् । त्यसको नाउँ एफ्राइमले बरीआ राखे, किनभने तिनको परिवारमा दुःख आएको थियो ।
Then he and his wife had sex [EUP] [again], and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named him Beriah [which resembles the word ‘trouble’, ] because of the trouble that his family had experienced.
24 तिनकी छोरी शेराह थिइन्, जसले तल्लो र माथिल्लो बेथ-होरोन अनि उज्जेन-शेराह बनाइन् ।
Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. Her workers built [three towns]: Lower Beth-Horon, Upper Beth-Horon, and Uzzen-Sheerah.
25 तिनका छोरा रपाह थिए । रपाहका छोरा रेशेप थिए । रेपेशका छोरा तेलह थिए । तेलहका छोरा तहन थिए ।
[Another] son of Ephraim was Rephah. Rephah’s son was Resheph. Resheph’s son was Telah. Telah’s son was Tahan.
26 तहनका छोरा लादान थिए । लादानका छोरा अम्मीहूद थिए । अम्मीहूदका छोरा एलीशामा थिए ।
Tahan’s son was Ladan. Ladan’s son was Ammihud. Ammihud’s son was Elishama.
27 एलीशामाका छोरा नून थिए । नूनका छोरा यहोशू थिए ।
Elishama’s son was Nun. Nun’s son was Joshua, [the man who led the Israelis after Moses died].
28 तिनीहरूका सम्पत्ति र बसोबास गरेका ठाउँहरू बेथेल र त्यसका वरिपरीका गाउँहरू थिए । तिनीहरू पूर्वमा नारान, पश्चिममा गेजेर र त्यसका बस्तीहरू, र शकेम र त्यसका बस्तीहरू अय्याह र त्यसका बस्तीहरूसम्म फैलिए ।
[This is a list of] the cities and areas where the descendants of Ephraim lived: Bethel and the nearby villages; Naaran to the east; Gezer to the west and the nearby villages; and Shechem and the nearby villages. Those villages extended [north] as far as Ayyah and the nearby villages.
29 मनश्शेको सिमानामा बेथ-शान र त्यसका गाउँहरू, तानाक र त्यसका गाउँहरू, मगिछो र त्यसका गाउँहरू र दोर र त्यसका गाउँहरू थिए । यी नगरहरूमा इस्राएलका छोरा योसेफका सन्तानहरू बसोबास गरे ।
Along the border of the area where the descendants of Manasseh lived were these towns: Beth-Shan, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, and the nearby villages. The people who lived in all those places were descendants of Jacob’s son Joseph.
30 आशेरका छोराहरू यिम्ना, यिश्वा, यिश्वी र बरीआ थिए । तिनीहरूकी बहिनी सेरह थिइन् ।
Asher’s sons were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.
31 बरीआका छोराहरू हेबेर र बिर्जेतका पिता मल्कीएल थिए ।
Beriah’s sons were Heber and Malkiel. Malkiel was the father of Birzaith
32 हेबेरका छोराहरू यप्लेत, शोमेर र होताम थिए । तिनीहरूकी बहिनी शूअ थिइन् ।
Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham. Their sister was Shua.
33 यप्लेतका छोराहरू पासक, बिम्हाल र अश्वात थिए । यिनीहरू यप्लेतका सन्तान थिए ।
Japhlet’s sons were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath.
34 यप्लेतका भाइ शोमेरका छोराहरू अही, रोहगा, हूब्बा र अराम थिए ।
Japhlet’s [younger] brother was Shomer. Shomer’s sons were Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.
35 शोमेरका भाइ हेलेमका छोराहरू सोपह, यिम्न, शेलेश र आमाल थिए ।
Shomer’s [younger] brother was Hotham (OR, Helem). Hotham’s sons were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.
36 सोपहका छोराहरू सूह, हर्नेपेर, शूआल, बरी, यिम्राह,
Zophah’s sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 बेसेर, होद, शामा, शिल्शा, यित्रान र बीरा थिए ।
Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran [whose other name was Jether], and Beera.
38 येतेरका छोराहरू यपुन्ने, पिस्पा र अरा थिए ।
Jether’s sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.
39 उल्लाका छोराहरू आरा, हन्नीएल र रिसिया थिए ।
[Another descendant of Asher was] Ulla, whose sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 यी सबै आशेरका सन्तानहरू थिए । तिनीहरू वंश पुर्खाहरू, पिताका घरानाहरूका मुखियाहरू, विशिष्ट मानिसहरू, योद्धाहरू, र अगुवाहरूका मुखिया थिए । तिनीहरूको वंशावलीको सूचीअनुसार सेनाको लागि योग्य मानिसहरूको संख्या छबिस हजार थियो ।
All those men were descendants of Asher, and they were all leaders of their clans. They were brave warriors and excellent leaders. In the record of the clans that are descended from Asher are [the names of] 26,000 men who served in the army.
