1 लेवीका छोराहरू गेर्शोन, कहात र मरारी थिए ।

Sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 कहातका छोराहरू अम्राम, यिसहार, हेब्रोन र उज्‍जीएल थिए ।

And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 अम्रामका छोराछोरी हारून, मोशा र मिरियम थिए । हारूनका छोराहरू नादाब, अबीहू, एलाजार र ईतामार थिए ।

And sons of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and [his daughter] Miriam. And sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 एलाजार पीनहासका पिता भए, र पीनहास अबीशूका पिता भए ।

Eleazar begot Phinehas, Phinehas begot Abishua,

5 अबीशू बुक्‍कीका पिता भए, बुक्‍की उज्‍जीका पिता भए ।

and Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi,

6 उज्‍जी जरयाहका पिता भए, जरयाह मरायोतका पिता भए ।

and Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth,

7 मरायोत अमर्याहका पिता भए, र अमर्याह अहीतूबका पिता भए ।

Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub,

8 अहीतूब सादोकका पिता भए, र सादोक अहीमासका पिता भए ।

and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz,

9 अहीमास अजर्याहका पिता भए, र अजर्याह योहानानका पिता भए ।

and Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan,

10 योहानान अजर्याहका पिता भए, जसले यरूशलेममा सोलोमनले बनाएको परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरमा सेवा गरे ।

and Johanan begot Azariah—him who acted as priest in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

11 अजर्याह अमर्याहका पिता भए, र अमर्याह अहीतूबका पिता भए ।

And Azariah begets Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub,

12 अहीतूब सादोकका पिता भए, र सादोक शल्‍लूमका पिता भए ।

and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum,

13 शल्‍लूम हिल्‍कियाहका पिता भए, र हिल्‍कियाह अजर्याहका पिता भए ।

and Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah,

14 अजर्याह सरायाहका पिता भए, र सरायाह यहोसादाकका पिता भए ।

and Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak;

15 परमप्रभुले यहूदा र यरूशलेमलाई नबूकदनेसरको हातबाट निर्वासनमा लैजाँदा यहोसादाक पनि कैदमा लगिए ।

and Jehozadak has gone in YHWH’s removing Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 लेवीका छोराहरू गेर्शोन, कहात र मरारी थिए ।

Sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 गेर्शोनका छोराहरू लिब्‍नी र शिमी थिए ।

And these [are] names of sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 कहातका छोराहरू अम्राम, यिसहार, हेब्रोन र उज्‍जीएल थिए ।

And sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 मरारीका छोराहरू महली र मूशी थिए । आ-आफ्‍ना पुर्खाअनुसार लेखिएका लेवीका वंशहरू यी नै हुन्‌ ।

Sons of Merari; Mahli and Mushi. And these [are] families of the Levite according to their fathers;

20 गेर्शोनका सन्‍तानहरू: तिनका छोरा लिब्‍नी थिए । लिब्‍नीका छोरा येहाथ तिए । तिनका छोरा जिम्‍माह थिए ।

of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 तिनका छोरा योआ थिए । तिनका छोरा इद्दो थिए । तिनका छोरा जेरह तिए । तिनका छोरा यातरै थिए ।

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.

22 कहातका सन्‍तानहरूः तिनका छोरा अम्‍मीनादाब थिए । तिनका छोरा कोरह थिए । तिनका छोरा अस्‍सीर थिए ।

Sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 तिनका छोरा एल्‍काना थिए । तिनका छोरा एब्‍यासाप थिए । तिनका छोरा अस्‍सीर थिए ।

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

24 तिनका छोरा तहत थिए । तिनका छोरा उरीएल थिए । तिनका छोरा उज्‍जियाह थिए । तिनका छोरा शौल थिए ।

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 एल्‍कानाका छोराहरू अमासै, अहीमोत,

And sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth.

26 अनि एल्‍काना नाउँको एक जना छोरा, तिनका छोरा सोफै, तिनका छोरा नहत,

Elkanah—sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

27 तिनका छोरा एलीआब, तिनका छोरा यरोहाम, तिनका छोरा एल्‍काना थिए ।

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

28 शमूएलका छोराहरू जेठा योएल र कान्‍छा अबिया थिए ।

And sons of Samuel: the firstborn Vashni, and the second Abijah.

29 मरारीका छोरा महली थिए । तिनका छोरा लिब्‍नी थिए । तिनका छोरा शिमी थिए । तिनका छोरा उज्‍जाह थिए ।

Sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 तिनका छोरा शिमेअ थिए । तिनका छोरा हग्‍गियाह थिए । तिनका छोरा असायाह थिए ।

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 सन्‍दूक परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरमा राखेपछि सङ्गीतको जिम्‍मा लिनलाई दाऊदले नियुक्त गरेका मानिसहरू यी नै हुन्‌ ।

And these [are] they whom David stationed over the parts of the song of the house of YHWH, from the resting of the Ark,

32 सोलोमनले यरूशलेममा परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिर नबनाएसम्‍म पवित्र वासस्‍थान, अर्थात्‌ भेट हुने पालको सामु तिनीहरूले सङ्गीत गाएर सेवा गरे । तिनीहरूलाई दिइएको निर्देशनहरू अनुसार तिनीहरूले आफ्नो कर्तव्य निर्वाह गरे ।

and they are ministering before the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, in song, until the building by Solomon of the house of YHWH in Jerusalem; and they stand according to their ordinance over their service.

33 आ-आफ्‍ना छोराहरूसँग सेवा गर्नेहरू यी नै थिए । कहातीहरूबाट सङ्गीतकार हेमान आए । तिनका पुर्खा यी नै थिएः हेमान योएलका छोरा थिए । योएल शमूएलका छोरा थिए ।

And these [are] those standing, and their sons, of the sons of the Kohathite: Heman the singer, son of Joel, son of Shemuel,

34 शमूएल एल्‍कानाका छोरा थिए । एल्काना यरोहामका छोरा थिए । यरोहाम एलीएलका छोरा थिए । एलीएल तोहका छोरा थिए ।

son of Elkanah, son of Jeroham, son of Eliel, son of Toah,

35 तोह सूपका छोरा थिए । सूप एल्‍कानाका छोरा थिए । एल्काना महतका छोरा थिए । महत अमासैका छोरा थिए । अमासै एल्‍कानाका छोरा थिए ।

son of Zuph, son of Elkanah, son of Mahath, son of Amasai,

36 एल्काना योएलका छोरा थिए । योएल अजर्याहका छोरा थिए । अजर्याह सपन्‍याहका छोरा थिए ।

son of Elkanah, son of Joel, son of Azariah, son of Zephaniah,

37 समपन्याह तहतका छोरा थिए । तहत अस्‍सीरका छोरा थिए । अस्सीर एब्‍यासापका छोरा थिए । एब्‍यासाप कोरहका छोरा थिए ।

son of Tahath, son of Assir, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah,

38 कोरह यिसहारका छोरा थिए । यिसहार कहातका छोरा थिए । कहात लेवीका छोरा थिए । लेवी इस्राएलका छोरा थिए ।

son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, son of Israel.

39 हेमानका सहयोगी आसाप थिए, जो तिनको दायाँतर्फ खडा रहन्‍थे । आसाप बेरेक्‍याहका छोरा थिए । बेरेक्याह शिमेअका छोरा थिए ।

And his brother Asaph, who is standing on his right—Asaph, son of Berachiah, son of Shimea,

40 शिमेअ मिखाएलका छोरा थिए । मिखाएल बासेयाहका छोरा थिए । बासेयाह मल्‍कियाहका छोरा थिए ।

son of Michael, son of Baaseiah, son of Malchiah,

41 मल्कियाह एत्‍नीका छोरा थिए । एत्‍नी जेरहका छोरा थिए । जेरह अदायाहका छोरा थिए ।

son of Ethni, son of Zerah, son of Adaiah,

42 अदायाह एतानका छोरा थिए । एतान जिम्‍माहका छोरा थिए । जिम्माह शिमीका छोरा थिए ।

son of Ethan, son of Zimmah, son of Shimei,

43 शिमी यहतका छोरा थिए । यहत गेर्शोनका छोरा थिए । गेर्शोन लेवीका छोरा थिए ।

son of Jahath, son of Gershom, son of Levi.

44 हेमानका बायाँतर्फ तिनका सहयोगीहरू मरारीका छोराहरू थिए । तिनीहरूमा कीशीका छोरा एतान थिए । कीशी अब्‍दीका छोरा थिए । अब्दी मल्‍लूकका छोरा थिए ।

And sons of Merari, their brothers, on the left: Ethan son of Kishi, son of Abdi, son of Malluch,

45 मल्लूक हशब्‍याहका छोरा थिए । हशब्याह अमस्‍याहका छोरा थिए । अमस्याह हिल्‍कियाहका छोरा थिए ।

son of Hashabiah, son of Amaziah, son of Hilkiah,

46 हिल्कियाह अम्सीका छोरा थिए । अम्सी बानीका छोरा थिए । बानी शेमेरका छोरा थिए ।

son of Amzi, son of Bani, son of Shamer,

47 शेमेर महलीका छोरा थिए । महली मूशीका छोरा थिए । मूशी मरारीका छोरा थिए । मरारी लेवीका छोरा थिए ।

son of Mahli, son of Mushi, son of Merari, son of Levi.

48 तिनीहरूका सहयोगी लेवीहरूलाई परमेश्‍वरको मन्‍दिरमा भएको पवित्र वासस्‍थानका सबै कामको जिम्मा दिइयो ।

And their brothers the Levites are put to all the service of the Dwelling Place of the house of God.

49 हारून र तिनका सन्‍तानहरूले वेदीमा होमबलिहरू, अनि महापवित्र स्थानमा हुने सबै कार्यको निम्ति धूप वेदीमा भेटीहरू चढाए । यी भेटीहरू इस्राएलका पापका लागि प्रायश्‍चित गर्नलाई परमेश्‍वरका दास मोशाका आज्ञाअनुसार यी सबै भेटीहरू चढाइए ।

And Aaron and his sons are making incense on the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of the incense, for all the work of the Holy of Holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses servant of God commanded.

50 हारूनका सन्‍तान निम्‍नानुसार चिनिन्थेः हारूनका छोरा एलाजार थिए । एलाजारका छोरा पीनहास थिए । पीनहासका छोरा अबीशू थिए ।

And these [are] sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 अबीशूका छोरा बुक्‍की थिए । बुक्‍कीका छोरा उज्‍जी थिए । उज्‍जीका छोरा जरयाह थिए ।

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 जरयाहका छोरा मरायोत थिए । मरायोतका छोरा अमर्याह थिए । अमर्याहका छोरा अहीतूब थिए ।

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 अहीतूबका छोरा सादोक थिए । सादोकका छोरा अहीमास थिए ।

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 हारूनका सन्‍तानको कहाती वंशलाई तोकेर दिएको इलाकामा तिनीहरूका स्थानहरू यी नै हुन्‌ (किनभने पहिलो चिट्ठा कहातीहरूलाई नै परेको थियो) ।

And these [are] their dwellings, throughout their towers, in their borders, of the sons of Aaron, of the family of the Kohathite, for the lot was theirs;

55 उनीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई यहूदाको देशमा भएको हेब्रोन र त्‍यसका खर्कहरू दिए,

and they give to them Hebron in the land of Judah and its outskirts around it;

56 तर त्‍यस सहरका खेतबारी र त्‍यसका गाउँहरूचाहिं तिनीहरूले यपुन्‍नेका छोरा कालेबलाई दिए ।

and they gave the field of the city and its villages to Caleb son of Jephunneh.

57 हारूनका सन्‍तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूले हेब्रोन (शरणस्‍थानको सहर) र लिब्‍ना, यत्तीर, र एश्‍तमोका खर्कहरूसहित,

And they gave the cities of refuge to the sons of Aaron: Hebron, and Libnah and its outskirts, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa and its outskirts,

58 खर्कहरूसहित हीलन र खर्कहरूसहित दबीर पनि दिए ।

and Hilen and its outskirts, Debir and its outskirts,

59 अनि तिनीहरूले हारूनका सन्तानलाई खर्कहरूसहित आशानका साथै खर्कहरूसहित युत्ता र बेथ-शमेश दिए ।

and Ashan and its outskirts, and Beth-Shemesh and its outskirts.

60 अनि बेन्‍यामीनको कुलबाट तिनीहरूले खर्कहरूसहित गेबा, खर्कहरूसहित आलेमेत, खर्कहरूसहित अनातोत दिए । तिनीहरूका सहरहरू जम्‍मा तेह्र वटा थिए । यी सहरहरू कहातीका तेह्र वंशहरू माझमा बाँडियो ।

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba and its outskirts, and Allemeth and its outskirts, and Anathoth and its outskirts. All their cities [are] thirteen cities among their families.

61 कहातका बाँकी सन्‍तानहरूलाई मनश्‍शेको आधा कुलबाट दश वटा सहरहरू बाँडियो ।

And to the sons of Kohath, those left of the family of the tribe, from the half of the tribe, the half of Manasseh, by lot, [are] ten cities.

62 गेर्शोनका सन्‍तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूका वंशहरूमा इस्‍साखार, आशेर, नप्‍ताली र बाशानमा भएको मनश्‍शेका कुलबाट तेह्र वटा सहरहरू दिइयो ।

And to the sons of Gershom, for their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, [are] thirteen cities.

63 मरारीका सन्‍तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूका वंशअनुसार रूबेन, गाद र जबूलूनका कुलबाट बाह्र सहरहरू दिइए ।

To the sons of Merari, for their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, by lot, [are] twelve cities.

64 यसरी इस्राएलीहरूले लेवीहरूलाई यी सहरहरू तिनका खर्कहरूसहित दिए ।

And the sons of Israel give the cities and their outskirts to the Levites.

65 माथि उल्लेख गरिएका सहरहरू यहूदा, शिमियोन र बेन्‍यामीनका कुलहरूबाट चिठ्ठाको माध्यमबाट तिनीहरूलाई दिइयो ।

And they give by lot from the tribe of the sons of Judah, and from the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and from the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name;

66 कहातीका केही वंशहरूलाई एफ्राइमको कुलबाट सहरहरू दिइए ।

and some of the families of the sons of Kohath have cities of their border from the tribe of Ephraim;

67 तिनीहरूलाई एफ्राइमको पहाडी देशमा शकेमका खर्कहरूसहित (शरणस्‍थानको सहर) गेजेरका खर्कहरूसहित,

and they give the cities of refuge to them: Shechem and its outskirts in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its outskirts,

68 खर्कहरूसहित योक्‍माम र खर्कहरूसहित बेथ-होरोन,

and Jokmeam and its outskirts, and Beth-Horan and its outskirts,

69 खर्कहरूसहित अय्‍यालोन र खर्कहरूसहित गात-रिम्‍मोन दिइयो ।

and Aijalon and its outskirts, and Gath-Rimmon and its outskirts;

70 मनश्‍शेको आधा कुलले खर्कहरूसहित आनेर र खर्कहरूसहित बिलाम कहातीका बाँकी वंशहरूलाई दिए । यी जमिनहरू बाँकी कोहाती वंशका सम्पत्ति बने ।

and from the half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its outskirts, and Bileam and its outskirts, for the family of the sons of Kohath who are left.

71 गेर्शोनीहरूलाई मनश्‍शेका आधा कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित बाशानमा भएको गोलान र खर्कहरूसहित अस्‍तारोत दिए ।

To the sons of Gershom from the family of the half of the tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan and its outskirts, and Ashtaroth and its outskirts;

72 इस्‍साखारको कुलले खर्कहरूसहित केदेश, खर्कहरूसहित दाबरत,

and from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh and its outskirts, Daberath and its outskirts,

73 खर्कहरूसहित रामोत र खर्कहरूसहित अनेम दिए ।

and Ramoth and its outskirts, and Anem and its outskirts;

74 इस्साखारले आशेरको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित माशाल, खर्कहरूसहित अब्‍दोन,

and from the tribe of Asher: Mashal and its outskirts, and Abdon and its outskirts,

75 खर्कहरूसहित हूकोक र खर्कहरूसहित रहोब प्राप्‍त गरे ।

and Hukok and its outskirts, and Rehob and its outskirts;

76 तिनीहरूले नप्‍तालीको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित गालीलको केदेश, खर्कहरूसहित हम्‍मोन र खर्कहरूसहित किर्यातैम, प्राप्‍त गरे ।

and from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee and its outskirts, and Hammon and its outskirts, and Kirjathaim and its outskirts.

77 मरारीका बाँकी सन्‍तानहरूले जबूलूनको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित योक्‍माम, कर्तह, रिम्‍मोनो र खर्कहरूसहित तबोर प्राप्‍त गरे,

To the sons of Merari who are left, from the tribe of Zebulun: Rimmon and its outskirts, Tabor and its outskirts;

78 अनि यर्दन पारि यरीहोको पूर्वपट्टि रूबेनको कुलबाट मरुभूमिमा भएको बेसेर, यहसाह,

and from beyond the Jordan by Jericho, at the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness and its outskirts, and Jahzah and its outskirts,

79 खर्कहरूसहित कदेमोत र खर्कहरूसहित मेपात,

and Kedemoth and its outskirts, and Mephaath and its outskirts;

80 लेवीहरूले गादको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित गिलादमा भएको रामोत, खर्कहरूसहित महनोम,

and from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead and its outskirts, and Mahanaim and its outskirts,

81 खर्कहरूसहित हेश्‍बोन र खर्कहरूसहित याजेर प्राप्‍त गरे ।

and Heshbon and its outskirts, and Jazer and its outskirts.
