१ इतिहास 4
1 यहूदाका सन्तानहरू फारेस, हेस्रोन, कर्मी, हूर र शोबाल थिए ।
The descendants of Judah: Perez, Hezron, and Caleb, and Hur, and Shobal.
2 शोबाल रायाहका पिता थिए । रायाह यहतका पिता थिए । यहत अहूमै र लहदका पिता थिए । सोरातीहरूका वंश यी नै थिए ।
Reaiah the son of Shobal became the father of Jahath; and Jahath became the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.
3 एताम सहरका वंशहरूका पुर्खाहरू यिनै थिएः यिजरेल, यिश्मा, यिदबश । तिनीहरूकी बहिनीको नाउँ हस्सलेलपोनी थियो ।
These were the sons of Etam: Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash; and the name of their sister was Hazzelelponi;
4 पनूएलचाहिं गदोर सहरका वंशका पुर्खा थिए । एसेर हूशका वंश सुरु गर्ने व्यक्ति थिए । एप्रातका जेठा छोरा र बेथलेहेमको सुरु गर्ने व्यक्ति हूरका सन्तान थिए ।
and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.
5 तकोका पिता अश्शूरका दुई पत्नीहरू हेलह र नारा थिए ।
Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
6 नाराले तिनको निम्ति अहुज्जाम, हेपेर, तेमेनी र हाहशतारीलाई जन्माइन् । नाराका छोराहरू यि नै थिए ।
Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.
7 हेलहका छोराहरू सेरेथ, सोहोर, एतनान,
The sons of Helah were Zereth, and Zohar, and Ethnan, and Koz.
8 र कोस थिए । कोसचाहिं आनूब र हज्जोबेबा अनि हारूमका छोरा अहर्हेलबाट आएका वंशहरूका पिता थिए ।
And Koz became the father of Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
9 याबेस आफ्ना दाजुभाइभन्दा आदरणीय थिए । तिनकी आमाले तिनलाई याबेस नाउँ दिइन् । तिनले बनिन्, “किनभने मैले त्यसलाई वेदनामा जन्माएँ ।”
And Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother named him Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him with pain."
10 याबेसले इस्राएलीहरूका परमेश्वरलाई पुकारा गरे र यसो भने, “तपाईंले मलाई साँच्चै आशिष् दिनुहुन्छ भने, मेरो इलाका बढाउनुहोस्, र तपाईंको हात ममाथि रहोस् । तपाईंले यसो गर्नुहुँदा तपाईंले मलाई जोखिमबाट जोगाउनुहुन्छ, जसले गर्दा म पीडामुक्त हुन सक्छु ।” यसैले परमेश्वरले तिनको बिन्ती सुन्नुभयो ।
And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, so that it might not cause me pain." And God granted him that which he requested.
11 शूहहका भाइ कलूब मेहीरका पिता बने, जो एश्तोनका पिता थिए ।
Chelub the brother of Shuhah became the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
12 एश्तोन बेथ-रापा, पसेह र इर-नाहशका पिता तहिन्नाका पिता बने । यिनीहरू रेकाका मानिसहरू थिए ।
Eshton became the father of Beth Rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir Nahash. These are the men of Rechab.
13 कनजका छोराहरू ओत्निएल र सरायाह थिए । ओत्निएलका छोराहरू हतत र मोनोतै थिए ।
The sons of Kenaz: Othniel, and Seraiah. The sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.
14 मोनोतै ओप्राका पिता बने र सरायाह योआबका पिता बने, र गे-हरशीमको सुरु गर्ने योआबका पिता बने जसका मानिसहरू कारीगरहरू थिए ।
And Meonothai became the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge Harashim; for they were craftsmen.
15 यपुन्नेका छोरा कालेबका छोराहरू ईरू, एलाह र नआम थिए । एलाहका छोरा कनज थिए ।
The sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Ir, and Elah, and Naam; and the sons of Elah: Kenaz.
16 यहललेलका छोराहरू जीप, जीपा, तीरया र असरेल थिए ।
The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
17 एज्रहका छोराहरू येतेर, मेरेद, एपेर, यालोन थिए । मेरेदले विवाह गरेकी मिश्री बित्याहले मिरियम, शम्मै र एश्तमोका पिता यिश्बहलाई जन्माइन् ।
The sons of Ezrah: Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon. And Jether became the father of Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
18 यिनीहरू मेरेदले बिहा गरेर ल्याएकी फारोकी छोरी बित्याहका छोराहरू थिए । मेरेदकी यहूदी पत्नीले गदोरका पिता येरेद, सोखोका पिता हेबेर र जानोहका पिता यकूतीएललाई जन्माइन् ।
His Judean wife bore Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. These are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took.
19 नहमकी बहिनी होदियाहकी पत्नीका छोराहरूमध्ये एक गेरेमी कीलाहका पिता बने । अर्का माकाती एश्तमो थिए ।
The sons of his Judean wife, the sister of Naham, were the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
20 शिमोनका छोराहरू अमनोन, रिन्ना, बेन-हानान र तीलोन थिए । यिशीका छोराहरू जोहेत र बेन-जोहेत थिए ।
The sons of Shimon: Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben Hanan, and Tilon. The sons of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben Zoheth.
21 यहूदाका छोरा शेलहका सन्तानहरू लेकाका पिता एर्, मारेशाका पिता लादा, र बेथ-अश्बेयामा मलमलका कपडा बनाउनेहरूका वंशहरू,
The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of the linen workers at Beth Ashbea;
22 योकीम, कोजेबाका मानिसहरू, र योआश र साराप, जसले मोआब र यशूबी-लेहेममा राज्य गरे । (यो विवरण प्राचीन लेखोटबाट लिइएको हो ।)
and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had married in Moab, and returned to Lehem. The records are ancient.
23 यि कुमालेहरू नतैम र गदेरामा बस्थे र राजाको निम्ति काम गर्थे ।
These were the potters, and the inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah. They lived there with the king in his service.
24 शिमियोनका सन्तानहरू नमूएल, यामीन, यारीब, जेरह र शौल थिए ।
The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, Jakin, Zohar, Shaul;
25 शौलका छोरा शल्लूम थिए, शल्लूमका छोरा मिब्साम थिए, र मिब्सामका छोरा मिश्मा थिए ।
Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
26 मिश्माका सन्तानहरू तिनका छोरा हम्मूएल, तिनका नाति जक्कूर, तिनका पनाति शिमी थिए ।
The descendants of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zakkur his son, Shimei his son.
27 शिमीका सोह्र जना छोरा र छ जना छोरी थिए । तिनका भाइका धेरै छोराछोरी थिएनन् । यसैले तिनीहरूको वंश यहूदाको वंश जति धेरै संख्यामा बढेन ।
Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brothers did not have many children, neither did all their families multiply like the people of Judah.
28 तिनीहरू बेर्शेबा, मोलादा र हसर-शूआलमा बसे ।
They lived at Beersheba, and Shema, and Moladah, and Hazar Shual,
29 तिनीहरू बिल्हा, एसेम, तोलद,
and at Balah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
30 बतूएल, होर्मा, सिक्लग,
and at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
31 बेथ-मर्काबोत, हसर-शूसीम, बेथ-बिरी र शारैममा पनि बसे । दाऊदले शासन नगरेसम्म तिनीहरूका सहरहरू यी नै थिए ।
and at Beth Marcaboth, and Hazar Susim, and at Beth Biri, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities until David became king.
32 तिनीहरूका पाँच बस्तीहरू एताम, ऐन, रिम्मोन, तोकेन र आशान थिए,
Their villages were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Token, and Ashan, five cities;
33 साथै बालातसम्मै वरिपरि तिनीहरूका गाउँहरू थिए । तिनीहरूका बस्तिहरू यी नै थिए, र तिनीहरूले वंशाक्रमको लेख राखे ।
and all their villages that were around the same cities as far as Baal. These were their habitations, and they have their genealogy.
34 वंशका अगुवाहरू मशोबाब, यम्लेक, अमस्याहका छोरा योशा,
Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,
35 योएल, योशिब्याहका छोरा येहू, जो सरायाहका नाति र असीएलका पनाति थिए,
and Joel, and Jehu the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,
36 एल्योएनै, याकोबा, याशोहायाह, असायाह, अदीएल, यसीमीएल, बनायाह,
and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,
37 र शिपीका छोरा जीजा, जो अल्लोनका नाति, यदायाहका पनाति, शिम्रीका खनाति र शमायाहका जनाति थिए ।
and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah—
38 माथि लेखिएका मानिसहरू आ-आफ्नो वंशका अगुवाहरू थिए, र तिनीहरूका वंश ज्यादै धेरै बढे ।
these mentioned by name were leaders in their families. And their ancestral houses increased greatly.
39 तिनीहरू आफ्ना बगालहरूका निम्ति खर्क खोज्दै बेँसीको पूर्वपट्टि गदोरको छेउसम्म गए ।
They went to the entrance of Gerar, even to the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.
40 तिनीहरूले प्रसस्त र राम्रो खर्क भेट्टाए । त्यो भुभाग फराकिलो, शान्त र सूनसान थियो । अघि त्यो ठाउँमा हामका मानिसहरू बसेका थिए ।
They found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for those who lived there before were of Ham.
41 यहूदाका राजा हिजकियाको राजकालमा सूचीकृत यी मानिसहरू आए र त्यहाँ भएका हामका मानिसहरू र मोनीहरूलाई आक्रमण गरे । तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा सखाप पारे र आफ्ना बगालका लागि खर्क पाएको हुनाले तिनीहरू त्यहाँ बसोबास गेर ।
These written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and struck their tents, and The Meunites who were found there, and destroyed them utterly to this day, and lived in their place; because there was pasture there for their flocks.
42 तिबाट, शिमियोनका छोराहरू पलत्याह, नार्याह, रपायाह र उज्जीएललाई आफ्ना अगुवा बनाएर पाँच सय जति मानिसहरू सेइर पहाडमा गए ।
Some of them, even of the descendants of Simeon, five hundred men, went to Mount Seir, having for their leaders Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.
43 तिनीहरूले बाँचेका अमालेकी शरणार्थीहरू सबैलाई पराजित गरे, र आजको दिनसम्म त्यहाँ बसेका छन् ।
They struck the remnant of the Amalekites who escaped, and have lived there to this day.
