1 बसन्त ऋतुको समय, अर्थात् समान्यतया राजाहरू लडाइँ गर्न जाने समयमा योआबले सेनालाई युद्ध गर्न लगे र अम्मोनीहरूको देशलाई उजाड पारे । तिनले गए र रब्बालाई घेरा हाले । दाऊदचाहिं यरूशलेममा नै रहे । योआबले रब्बालाई आक्रमण गरे र त्यसलाई पराजित गरे ।
And it was to [the] time of [the] return of the year to [the] time of - [the] going out of kings and he lead out Joab [the] army of war and he destroyed - [the] land of [the] people of Ammon and he went and he besieged Rabbah and David [was] remaining in Jerusalem and he struck Joab Rabbah and he overthrew it.
2 दाऊदले उनीहरूका राजाको शिरबाट शिरपेच लगे, र त्यसको तौल सुनको एक तोडा भएको भेट्टाए, र त्यसमा बहुमूल्य रत्नहरू जडिएका थिए । त्यो शिरपेच दाऊदको आफ्नो शिरमा लाइयो, र तिनले त्यस सहरबाट धेरै परिणाममा लुटपाट गरे ।
And he took David [the] crown of king their from on head his and he found it - weight of a talent of gold and [was] in it a stone precious and it was on [the] head of David and [the] plunder of the city he brought out much very.
3 त्यस सहरमा भएका मानिसहरूलाई तिनले लिएर आए र उनीहरूलाई आरा र फलामका औजारहरू तथा बन्चराहरूका काममा लगाए । दाऊदले अम्मोनीहरूका सबै सहरका मानिसहरूलाई यस्तो कामका लगाए । तब दाऊद र तिनका सबै सेना यरूशलेममा फर्के ।
And the people which [was] in it he brought out and he sawed with saw and with [the] sharp instruments of iron and with saws and thus he did David to all [the] cities of [the] people of Ammon and he returned David and all the people Jerusalem.
4 यसको केही समयपछि गेजेरमा पलिश्तीहरूसँग लडाइँ भयो । हूशाती सिब्बकैले रपाईहरूका सन्तानमध्ये एक सिप्पैलाई मारे, र पलिश्तीहरूलाई अधीन गरियो ।
And it was after this and it arose a battle at Gezer with [the] Philistines then he struck down Sibbecai the Hushathite Sippai one of those born of the Rephaites and they were subdued.
5 पलिश्तीहरूसँगको अर्को एउटा युद्धमा याईरका छोरा एल्हानानले गित्तीको गोल्यतको भाइ लहमीलाई मारे, जसको भालाको बींड कपडा बुन्ने जुलाहाको डन्डा जत्रो थियो ।
And it was again a battle with [the] Philistines and he struck down Elhanan [the] son of (Jair *Q(K)*) Lahmi [the] brother of Goliath the Gittite and [the] wood of spear his [was] like a beam of weavers.
6 गातमा भएको अर्को युद्धमा हरेक हातमा छवटा औंला र हरेक खुट्टामा छवटा औंला भएको एक जना धेरै अग्लो मानिस थियो । त्यो पनि रफाको सन्तान थियो ।
And it was again a battle at Gath and he was - a man of stature and digits his [were] six and six twenty and four and also he he was born to Rapha.
7 जब त्यसले इस्राएललाई निन्दा गर्यो, तब दाऊदका दाजु शिमेअका छोरा जोनाथनले त्यसलाई मारे ।
And he taunted Israel and he struck down him Jonathan [the] son of Shimea [the] brother of David.
8 तिनीहरू गातका रफाका सन्तानहरू थिए, र तिनीहरू सबै दाऊदका हातबाट र तिनका सिपाहीहरूका हातबाट मारिए ।
These they were born to Rapha in Gath and they fell by [the] hand of David and by [the] hand of servants his.
