1 Lakini wenga ukoye galyo galongwana bwiso, mundu akuyowe.
But you—speak what is suitable [according] to the sound teaching.
2 Apendo babe ni kiasi, malango, batolii, bannyogope Nnongo, babe na moyo bwiso, kana babe na masaka lii.
Elders [are] to be temperate, dignified, sober, sound in faith, in the love, in the endurance.
3 Alwana apendo baibonekiya bene kana bana ndimi ibele, kana babe amanda baugembe.
Aged women, in like manner, in behavior as becomes sacred persons, not false accusers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of good things,
4 Kasi yabe kuayegana aenza galyo gota gonogike ili batame bwiso ni asengo babe, ni bhana babe.
that they may make the young women sober-minded, to be lovers of [their] husbands, lovers of [their] children,
5 Bwisho kuayegana kubhaa atwaanzi baapekanye asengo babe ili kna bhankupulu Nnongo.
sober, pure, keepers of [their own] houses, good, subject to their own husbands, that evil may not be spoken of the word of God.
6 kati iyeya alogolyae amisembe kana babe ni batolii.
The younger men, in like manner, exhort [them] to be sober-minded.
7 Kwa ndila yeyote ibekaye kulongele bandu bababone, kwa kasi ntei, mana kamuayagana piyaye, miyegeyo bwiso bababone bhandu bema.
Concerning all things, present yourself [as] a pattern of good works—in the teaching [with] uncorruptedness, dignity,
8 Mulongele ikowe ya ukoto nayangali kasolo, ili lelo wyowyote wyakana aibone oni kwa mwanja n'topu libaya kwitu.
sound discourse [that is] blameless, so that he who is of the contrary may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say concerning you.
9 Atumwa ban'yuwe angwana babe kwa kila kikowe. pabalikwa kwa y'hegana kwenda taukana nabo.
Servants [are] to be subject to their own masters, to be well-pleasing in all things, not contradicting,
10 Kana bajibe pale pake bapalikwa bala yee imani hinanoga ili lelo katiwa ndela yoti baganogeye mapundiso gitu gagamusu Nnungu mwokozi witu.
not stealing, but showing all good steadfastness, that the teaching of God our Savior they may adorn in all things.
11 Kwa mwanja neema ya Nnungu indabonekana kwa bhandu boti.
For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men,
12 Itupundisa kana-makowe gangali ki'Nnungu na taman'iya kulunia. Itupundisa tama kwa lunda na haki na katika ndela Nnungu mula wono. (aiōn g165)
teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, we may live soberly, and righteously, and piously in the present age, (aiōn g165)
13 Wakati watulenda pokya watu ubilia litu lene baraka ubonekane utukupu wa Nnungu witu mkholho na mwokosi witu Yesu kirisitu.
waiting for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
14 Yesu atekwipia mwene kwitu twenga kutulopwa boka kuasi kutupanga pelete, kwa nia yake. Bandu babasahaulilwe babile na kilolo cha panga kasi inanoga.
who gave Himself for us, that He might ransom us from all lawlessness, and might purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
15 Ugalongele na ugakong'ondi makowe haga, ukalipi kwa amuli yoti. kana un'yeketi mundu whowhti akusalawe.
Speak these things, and exhort and convict with all authority; let no one despise you!
