1 Paulo na Timotheo atumwa ba yesu kristo, kwabalo babatengwile katika kristo baba tana filipi, pamope na babaangalia na mashemasi.

2 Neema naibile kwinu na amani ya ibaka kwa nnongo tatebitu na nngwana witu yesu kristo.

3 nimshukuru nnongo kila panin kombokya mwenga mwabote.
I thank my God whenever I remember you,
4 Mara yote katika kila loba kwanga kwaajili yinu mwenga mwabote. Nenda pulaikaga panimobyaga.
always in every prayer of mine for all of you, making my requests with joy,
5 Ninashukrani yambone kwa sababu ya ushirika winu katika injili tango masobagakwanza mpaka leno.
for your partnership in the Good News from the first day until now;
6 Nina hakika kwamba hwembe hwatumbulisha kazi njema nkatiyinu ayendelwa kwikamilisha mpaka lisoba la nngana yesu kristo.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Messiah Yeshua.
7 Ni sawa kwango kwisikiavyo juu yinu mwanga mwa bote kwasababu nimekie pamoja wango. mana mwenga mubile mwaashirika ayango latika neema katika kwitaba kwango na utetezi na uthibitishaji wango wa injili.
It is even right for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, because, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the Good News, you all are partakers with me of grace.
8 Nn”ungo nishahidi wango, jinsi mwamibile nashauku juu yinu mwabote katika undani wapendo la kristo yesu.

so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be pure and blameless for the Day of Messiah;
11 Nakae ili mutweleewe nalitunda lahaki lipatikanelo. katika yesu kristo, kwautukufu na sifa ya nnongo.
being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which are through Yeshua the Messiah, to the glory and praise of God.
12 Sasa mwalongo bango, mbala ntange kuwa mamo gagapitike kwango gaipangite injili iyendeli sana.
Now I desire to have you know, brothers, that the things which happened to me have turned out rather to the progress of the Good News;

so that it became evident to the whole praetorian guard, and to all the rest, that my bonds are in Messiah;
14 Naa longo bababile kaika nngwana, kwasbabu ya kwitaba kwango, batishawishika nathubutu kulihubiri neno pasipo hofu
and that most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word without fear.
15 baadhi kweli hala kumtanga kristo kwa fitina naugovi, na kae benge kwania njema.
Some indeed preach Messiah even out of envy and strife, and some also out of good will.
16 Balo babalangaza kristo kwa upendo batangite mbekilwe pano kwaajili ya utetezi wainjili.
The latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the Good News.
17 Bali bonge matangaza kristo kwa ubinafsi na kwa nia mbaya. pagani kwasababisha matatizo kwango katika minyororo yango.
The former insincerely preach Messiah from selfish ambition, thinking that they add affliction to my chains.
18 Kwanyo? mjalili, aidha nijalili ndela hibile kwa hila au kakweli, kristo ondatangazwa na katika leno nanda palaikya! ndiyo nenenda palaika.
What does it matter? Only that in every way, whether out of false motives or in truth, Messiah is proclaimed. I rejoice in this, yes, and will rejoice.
19 Kwa kwaa ndikite leno laleba yugolekwa kwango. Jambo lino huapita kwasababu ya malobo binu na msaada wa roho hua krsisto.
For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance, through your petition and the supply of the Ruach of Yeshua the Messiah,
20 Lengana na matarajilo gango gawakika nagakweli ni kwamba nibonali oni. Badala yake kwaujqsiri wote kati ambavyo mosabagoli na sasa ndarajila kuwa kristo apala kakatuliwa katika yoga yango, manaibile katika ukoto au katika kiwo.
according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will in no way be disappointed, but with all boldness, as always, now also Messiah will be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death.
21 Kwa maana kwango, nenga lamanikistro na waa nifaida.
For to me to live is Messiah, and to die is gain.
22 Lakini maa natana katika yoga mboleke litnda katika kazi ya mnongo, kwanyo ndititelii lyako lyakulisawa.
But if I live on in the flesh, this will bring fruit from my work; yet I do not make known what I will choose.
23 Maana nenda yaleka yega napanga panope na kristo, kilebe ambaso chathamani munomuno.
But I am in a dilemma between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Messiah, which is far better.
24 Ingawa igala kwayega yono nijambo la muhimu muna kwaajili yinu.
Yet, to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
25 Kwa kuwa nible nauakika juu yaleno, nitengite naigala nanayendelya baapamipe namwenga mwbote, kwaajili yamaendeleo na furaha ya imani yhinu.
And since I am persuaded of this, I know that I will remain and continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,
26 Nal ino lipaleta furaha yhinu ngolo katika kristo yesu, kwasababu bakwango panope na mwenga.
that your rejoicing may abound in Messiah Yeshua in me through my presence with you again.
27 Mpalikwa mahishi maisha ginu katika mwenendo. Mzuri wamipasa injili ya kristo. mpangenyo ilipanaisa kwinu la au mana ninaisali, niyowe nyemeliko imara katika roho jlmo, mwendashinia, imani ya injili kwa panope.
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the Good News of Messiah, that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;
28 nakamantishike nakilebe sosote sakipangilwe na madai ginu. yheno kwabe mishara ya ualibifu. bali kwinu nilishara ya wokovu bokya kwanaongo.
and in nothing frightened by the adversaries, which is for them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
29 kwamana mwenga mutipeyeliwa kwaajil ya kristo, nimwanilelibai bali nateseka kai katika yhwembe.
Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Messiah, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf,
30 kwamaa mwina mgogoro wolywolya katika wamubenwikwango namwanda yowa kwamba nibilenao hata mbiya mbeno.
having the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear is in me.
