Yohana 8
1 Yesu aboi mu'kitombe sa Mizeituni.
But Jesus went to the mount of Olives;
2 Bwamba aisa mu'lihekalu, ni bandu bote kabankengama, atami na kubapundisha.
and returned early in the morning into the temple, and all the people came to Him: and He sat down, and taught them.
3 Baandishi ni Mafarisayo kabannetya Nwawa ywaatabilwe mu'kitendo sa'umalaya. Kabamweka nkati yabe.
And the scribes and pharisees brought to Him a woman taken in adultery;
4 Nga kabammakiya Yesu, “Mwalimu, nnwawa yolo atabilwe mu'umalaya, paabile apanga umalaya.
and setting her in the midst, they said to Him, "This woman was caught in the very act, committing adultery.
5 Nambeambe, mu'saliya ya Musa atituamuru kuwapondanga maliwe bandu kati aba, ubaya namani nnani yake?
Now Moses in the law has commanded us that such women should be stoned, but what sayest Thou?"
6 Kabagabaya aga ili kuntegeya ili bapate likowe lya kumshitaki, lakini Yesu kainama ni kuandika pae pa'bui kwa kidole sake.
This they said to tempt Him, that they might have something to accuse Him of. But Jesus stooping down, wrote with his finger upon the ground.
7 Pabayendelea kunnaluya, ayemi ni kuabakiya, “Ywembe abile kwaa ni sambi nkati yinu, abile wa kwanza kumpondanga maliwe.”
And as they continued asking Him, He raised himself up and said unto them, "Let him that is without sin among you, first cast a stone at her."
8 Ainamite kae pae, atiandika mu'dunia kwa kidole chake.
Then He stooped down again and wrote on the ground.
9 Kabayowine ago, batiboka yumo baada ya ywenge, kuanzia ywabile mpindo. Mwisho Yesu alekilwe kichake, pamope ni yolo nnwawa ywabile nkati yabe.
But when they heard his answer, being convicted by their own conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at the elder, even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst of the people.
10 Yesu ayemite ni kummakiya “Nnwawa, balo bakushitakiya babile kwaako? Ntopo hata yumo ywakuhukumu?
Then Jesus rising up, and seeing none but the woman, said unto her, Where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 Kabaya, “Ntopo hata yumo Ngwana.” Yesu kabaya, “Hata nenga nalowa kukuhukumu kwaa, uyende mundela yako; kuanzia nambeambino ni kuyendelea kana upange sambi kae.”
And she said, None, Lord. Then said Jesus unto her, Neither do I condemn thee, Go thy way and sin no more.
12 Yesu kalongela na bandu kae kabaya, “Nenga na mbeya ba ulimwengu; ywembe ywanikengamite atyanga kwaa mulibendo ila abile ni ukoto,”
Then spake Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he, that followeth me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
13 Mafarisayo kabammakiya, “Wajishuhudia wa mwene, ushuhuda wako nga wa kweli kwaa.”
The pharisees therefore said to Him, Thou bearest witness of thyself; thy testimony is not true.
14 Y6esu kaayangwa ni kuwamakiya, “Hata kati nalowa kujishuhudia mwene, ushuhuda wango ni kweli. Nitangite pandu nibokite ni kolyo kaniyenda, lakin i mwenga mutangite kwaa pandu nibokite au kolyo kaniyenda.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear witness of myself, my testimony is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I am going; but ye know not whence I come, nor whither I go.
15 Mwenga mwatihukumu mu'yega; nenga nahukumu kwaa yeyote.
Ye judge according to the flesh, but I judge no man as yet:
16 Nenga hata mana nihukumule, hukumu yango ni kweli kwa sababu nabile kwaa kichango, nibile pamope ni Tate ywanitumile.
though if I should judge, my judgement is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father that sent me.
17 Eloo, na mu'saliya yinu iandikilwe kuwa ushuhuda wa bandu abele ni kweli.
And it is written in your own law, that the testimony of two persons is valid.
18 Nenga nga nishuhudiae, ni Tate ywanitumile atikunshuhudia.”
Now I am one, who bear witness of myself; and the Father, who sent me, beareth witness of me.
19 Bakammakiya, “Tate bako abile kwaako?” Yesu kayangwa, “Nenga mwanitangite kwaa nenga, mana munitangike nenga, mwalowa kuntanga ni Tate bango kae.”
Then said they unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also.
20 Abaya maneno aga abile papipi ni hazina abile atifundisha mu'lihekalu, na ntopo hata yumo ywantabile kwa sababu saa yake ibile bado iikite.
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, when He was teaching in the temple: and no one laid hands on Him, for his hour was not yet come.
21 Bai kammakiya kae, “Niyenda zangu; mwalowa kunipala na mwatiwaa mu'sambi yinu. Kolyo kwaniyenda, mwaweza kwaa kuisa.”
Jesus therefore said unto them again, "I am going away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: where I go ye cannot come."
22 Ayahudi kababaya, “Alowa tanga mwene, ywembe ywabile akibaya,'kolyo kaniyenda muweza kwaa kuisa'?”
The Jews therefore said, What! will He kill himself; that He says, where I am going, ye cannot come?
23 Yesu kaamakiya, “Mwaboka pae, nenga niboka kunani. Mwenga ni ba Ulimwengu; nenga na wa ulimwengu kwaa.
And He said unto them, Ye are from beneath, I am from above: ye are of this world, I am not of this world.
24 Kwa eyo, natikuwabakiya kuwa nalowa waa mu'sambi yinu. Vinginevyo mwaminiya kuwa NENGA NGA, mwalowa waa mu'sambi yinu.”
Therefore I said unto you, that ye shall die in your sins; for if ye believe not that I am the Messiah, ye shall die in your sins.
25 Kwa eyo kabammakiya, “Wenga wa nyai?” Yesu kaamakiya, galo ganiabakiya tangu mwanzo.
Then said they to Him, Who art thou? And Jesus answered them, Even the same that I told you at first.
26 Nabile ni makowe ganansima gakulongela ni kuhukumu nnani yinu. Hata nyoo, ywembe ywanitumile ni wa kweli; ni makowe nigayowine kuoma kwake, makowe aga niabaya kwa ulimwengu.”
I have many things to say and to judge concerning you: but I only say, He that sent me is true, and I declare to the world those things, which I have heard from Him.
27 Kabamwelewa kwaa kuwa abile kalongela nabo kuhusu Tate.
But they did not know that He spake unto them of the Father.
28 Yesu kabaya, “Pamwalowa kumwinua kunanu Mwana wa Mundu, nga mwalowa tanga NENGA NGA, ni kwamba nipangite kwaa lolote kwa nafsi yango. Kati Tate ywanipundisha, nalowa longela makowe aga.
Jesus therefore said unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then ye shall know that I am He, and that I do nothing of myself, but as my Father hath instructed me, I speak these things.
29 Ywembe ywanitumile abile pamope ni ywembe, na ywembe anilekite kichango, kwani kila mara napanga galo gabampendeza.”
And He that sent me, is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.
30 Palyo Yesu abaya makowe aga, baingi batikumwaminiya.
As He spake these words many believed on Him.
31 Yesu kabaya kwa balo Ayahudi baaminiye, “Mana ibile mwatama mu'neno lyango, nga mubile anapunzi bango kweli,
Therefore said Jesus to the Jews that believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, ye are indeed my disciples.
32 mwenga mwalowa kuitanga kweli, ni kweli yalowa kwabeka huru.”
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 Kabanyangwa, “Twenga twa ubeleko wa Ibrahimu ni kamwe tuwaike kwaa pae ya utmumwa wa yeyote; wabaya kwaa, “Twalowa bekwa huru?”
They answered Him, We are the seed of Abraham, and never were slaves to any one, how then dost thou say, Ye shall be made free?
34 Yesu kaayangwa, “Amini, amini, naamakiya, kila ywapanga sambi ni mmanda wa sambi.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily I say unto you, whosoever maketh a practice of sin, is the servant of sin.
Now the servant does not continue always in the family: but the Son abideth always. (aiōn g165)
36 Kwa eyo, mana itei Mwana abekilwe huru, mwalowa pangika huru kweli kabisa.”
If therefore the Son make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
37 Nitangite kwamba mwenga ni ubeleko wa Ibrahimu; mwanipala kunibulaga kwa sababu neno lyango labile kwaa ni nafasi nkati yinu,
I know that ye are the seed of Abraham, but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
38 Nalongela makowe ambayo niyabweni pamope ni Tate bango, ni mwenga nyonyonyo mwapanga makowe ambayo mwagayowine kuoma kwa tate yinu.”
I speak that which I have seen with my Father, and ye do what ye have seen with your father.
39 Kbanyangwa ni kummakiya, “Tate yitu nga Ibrahimu.”Yesu kaamakiya, kati mwabile ni bana ba Ibrahimu, mwalowa panga kazi ya Ibrahimu.
They answered Him, Abraham is our father, Jesus replied, If ye were the children of Abraham, ye would do the works of Abraham:
40 Hata nambeambe mwalowa pala kunibulaga, mundu ywabakiye ukweli kuwa nayowine kuoma kwa Nnongo. Abrahamu apangite kwaa ayee.”
but now ye seek to kill me, who have told you the truth which I have heard from God: Abraham did not thus.
41 Mwapanga kazi ya tate yinu.”Kabammakiya, Tubelekwile kwaa mu'umalaya, tubile ni Tate yumo Nnongo.”
But ye do the works of your father. Then said they unto Him, We are not born of fornication, we have one Father, even God.
42 Yesu kammakiya, “Mana itei Nnongo nga Tate yinu, mnipendile nenga, kwa maana niboite kwa Nnongo; wala niisile kwaa kwa nafsi yango, ila ywembe ywanitumile.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your father, ye would love me: for I came forth, and do come, from God; neither came I of myself, but He sent me.
43 Kwa namani mwelewa kwaa maneno yango? Kwa sababu muweza kwaa vumiliya kugayowa maneno yango.
And why do ye not understand my language, but because ye cannot bear my doctrine?
44 Mwenga ni wa tate yinu, nchela, nga mpala kuipanga tamaa ya tate yinu. Abile ywamulaga tangu mwanzo ni aweza kwaa kuyema mu'ukweli kwa mana kweli yabile kwaa nkati yake. Kabalongela ubocho, alongela kuoma kwa asili yake kwa sababu ni mmocho nga tate ba ubocho.
Ye are of your father the devil, and are bent upon doing the lusts of your father: he was a murderer from the beginning, and continued not in the truth: for there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh like himself, for he is a liar, and the father of such.
45 Nambeambe, kwa sababu nibayile yaibile kweli, muniamini kwaa.
And because I say the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convicteth me of sin?
46 Ywa nyai nkati yinu ywanishuhudia kuwa nibile ni sambi? mana itei nibile yaibile kweli, kwa mwanja namani mwaniamini kwaa?
And if I speak truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 Ywembe ywabile wa Nnongo hugayowa maneno ga Nnongo; Mwenga muyayowine kwaa kwa mana mwenga mwa wa Nnongo kwaa.”
He, that is of God, receiveth the words of God; but ye therefore receive them not, because ye are not of God.
48 Ayahudi kabanyangwa ni kummakiya, twabaya kwaa kweli kuwa wenga wa Msamaria na ubile ni nchela?”
The Jews therefore answered and said unto Him. Do we not rightly say, that thou art a Samaritan, and art possessed by a demon?
49 Yesu kayangwa, nibile kwaa ni pepo; lakini namweshimu Tate bango, ni mwenga mwaniheshimu kwaa.
Jesus answered I am not possessed by a demon, but I honour my Father, though ye dishonour me.
50 Nipala kwaa utukufu wango; kwabile yumo ywapala ni hukumu.
And I seek not my own glory; there is One that seeketh it, and judgeth.
51 Amini, amini, nakubakiya, ywabile yeyote ywalikamua neno lyango, akibweni kwaa kiwo kamwe.” (aiōn g165)
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If any one keep my word, he shall never see death. (aiōn g165)
52 Ayahudi kabammakiya, “Nambeambe tutangite kuwa ubile ni nchela. Abrahamu ni manabii kabawaa, lakini wabaya,'Mana itei mundu alikamwile neno lyango, aonjile kwaa kiwo.' (aiōn g165)
The Jews therefore said unto Him, Now we are sure that thou art possessed by a demon. Abraham is dead, and the prophets too; and thou sayest, If any one keep my word, he shall never taste of death: art thou greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? (aiōn g165)
53 Wenga nkolo kwaa kuliko tate bitu Abrahamu ywati waa? Manabii pia bawile. Wenga ujipanga kuwa wa nyai?”
and the prophets are dead: whom dost thou pretend to be?
54 Yesu kanyangwa, “Mana itei nalowa kuitukuza mwene, utukufu wango ni bure; Tate bango ywanitukuza-yolo mwamum'bayite kuwa ni Nnongo winu.
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that glorifieth me, of whom ye say that He is your God.
55 Mwenga mwamyowa kwaa ywembe, lakini nenga namyowa ywembe. Mana itei nibayite,'nimtangite kwaa,' nalowa pangilwa kati mwenga, nambocho. Hata nyoo, nimtangite na maneno yake nigakamwile.
And yet ye know him not; but I know Him: and if I should say, That I know Him not, I shall be like you, a liar: but I know Him, and obey his word.
56 Tate yinu Ibrahimu atishangilia yatikulibona lisoba lyango, aibweni na atipulaika.”
Your father Abraham longed to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Ayahudi kabammakiya, “Uikite kwaa umri wa miaka hamsini bado, ni wenga umweni Ibrahimu?”
Then said the Jews unto Him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Yesu kammakiya, “Amini, amini, nakumakiya, kabla Abrahamu abelekwile kwaa. NENGA NIBILE.”
Jesus said unto them, Before Abraham was, I am.
59 Nga kabalokota maliwe bapala kumpumunda, lakini Yesu atikuificha ni kuboka panja ya hekalu.
Therefore they took up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus concealed Himself, and went out of the temple, through the midst of them, and so passed on.
