1 Tumbwe husu icha kwa Nngwana witu Yesu kwembania pamo linga tube na ywembe: tunda kunnoba mwenga mwalongo bitu.
And we ask you, brothers, in regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together to Him,
2 kwamba kana bachumbwe na kutabisha kwa rahisi, kwa mwoyo au habari au kwa barua yaibonekana kuwa ya ipita kwinu, ya ibaya ya kuwa lichuba lya Nngwana tayari iichile.
that you are not quickly shaken in mind, nor be troubled, neither through spirit, neither through word, neither through letters as through us, as that the Day of the LORD has arrived;
3 Mundu kana ankonge kwa namna yeyote kwa kuwa iicha lii mpaka wulo mtumboko wa kwanza upite mundu nnau abonekane yuloo mwana nnau.
do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because if the departure may not come first, the man of lawlessness may [not] be revealed—the son of destruction,
4 Hayu nga ywakanaye ywaipuna mwene ywankana Nnongo na chochote cha kiabudiwa. Na matokeo gake Tama pahekalu la Nnongo na kuilangiya ywembe kati Nnongo.
who is opposing and is raising himself up above all called god or worshiped, so as for him to have sat down in the temple of God, proclaiming that he is God.
5 mkumbukyali bulii panibile na mwenga na mmakiye husu ikowe Kati yii?
Do you not remember that, yet being with you, I said these things to you?
6 Tumbwe ndangite chilo chakinzuia, linga aweche kukumukwa kwa wakati wene wapalikwa.
And now, you have known what is restraining, for his being revealed in his own time,
7 Siri ya yolo mundu nnau ipanga lyengo mpaka nambiambi, ila kuina ywazuia nambiambi mpaka bamuye mundela.
for the secret of lawlessness already works, only the [One] now restraining [will do so] until He may come out of [the] midst,
8 Nga yulo nnau ngaba pamuhukwa ambaye Nngwana Yesu apakumulana kwa mbunuo ya nkano wake. Nngwana apangali apakuchelewa kwa paumukwa kwa icha kwake.
and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the LORD will consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and will nullify at the appearance of His coming,
9 Icha kwa yulo nnau kupapanga kwa lyengo shetani kwa ngupu yote, ishara na maajabu ga ubochuu,
whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,
10 na ubochu woti wene ulau mambo ga gapabaa kwa balo babaoba kwa kuwa baupoki lii upendo wa kweli linga kombolewa kwabe.
and in all deceitfulness of the unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth for their being saved,
11 kwa kitumbu so Nnongo atumiya lyengo lya ubou linga baubili ubuchu.
and because of this God will send to them a working of delusion, for their believing the lie,
12 Matokeo gake bote balau ukumilwa, balu babakotwike aminiya ukweli ila bembe kwipulaisha na mulau.
that they may be judged—all who did not believe the truth, but were well pleased in the unrighteousness.
13 itubidi tuchukuru Nnongo kila wakati kwa ajili yinu mwalongo mwampendilwe na Nngwana maana Nngwana achawi mwenga kati malimbo kunkombwa kwa kutakasa mwoyo na ubilya Kati yilo kweli.
And we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brothers, beloved by the LORD, that God chose you from the beginning to salvation, in sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth,
14 Asii nga sankemi mwenga, kwa ajili muwese pata heshimu kwa Nngwana witu Yesu Kirisitu.
to which He called you through our good news, to the acquiring of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ;
15 Kwa-nyo mwalongo muyime kwa likakala. muutange utamaduni wa mupundishilwe kwa makowe au barua yitu.
so, then, brothers, stand fast, and hold the traditions that you were taught, whether through word, whether through our letter;
16 Twembe lelo Nngwana witu Yesu Kirisitu mwene, Nnongo Tati bitu babatuywa pendile na kumpea pole yangali yomoka na ujasiliwema was maisa gagaisa pitya nema. (aiōnios g166)
and may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who loved us, and gave continuous comfort, and good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)
17 Apei pole na kuupanga yeme ngupu miyo yinu na kila likowe na lyengo linannoga.
comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
