2 Akoritho 1

1 Paulo, mtume wa Kristo Yesu kwa mapenzi hga Nnongo, ni Timotheo nnongo witu, kwa likanisa lya Nnongo lyalibile Korintho, na kwa baumini bote babile mu'nkoa wote wa Akaya.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, —unto the assembly of God which is in Corinth, together with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

2 Neema na ibe kwinu na amani boka kwa Nnongo Tate yitu ni Ngwana Yesu kristo.

Favour unto you, and peace, from God [our] Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Na asifiwe Nnongo na Tate wa Ngwana Yesu Kristo. Ywembe ni Tate wa rehema na Nnongo wa faraja yote.

Blessed, be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement,

4 Nnongo utufariji twenga katika mateso yitu yote, ili panga tyweze kuafariji balo babile katika mateso. Tunaafariji wenge kwa faraja yeyelo ambayo Nnongo aitumile kutufariji twenga.

Who encourageth us in all our tribulation, to the end we may be able to encourage them who are in any tribulation—through means of the encouragement wherewith we, ourselves, are encouraged by God.

5 Kwa kuwa kati ya mateso ga Kristo uongezeka kwa ajili yitu, nyonyonyo faraja yitu uongezeka pitya Kristo.

Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ overflow unto us, so, through the Christ, overfloweth, our encouragement also.

6 Lakini kati twaataabishwa, ni kwa ajili ya faraja yinu ni wokovu winu. Na mana twafarijiwa, ni kwa ajili ya faraja yinu. Faraja yinu panga kazi kikamilifu pamwashiriki mateso kwa uvumulivu kati twenga kae twateseka.

But, whether we are in tribulation, it is for your encouragement and salvation; whether we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement, which worketh inwardly by the endurance of the same sufferings which, we also, suffer; —

7 Na ujasiri witu nnani yinu ni thabiti. Tutangite panga kati ya ambavyo mwatishiriki mateso, nyonyonyo mwatishiriki faraja.

And so, our hope, is sure in your behalf, —knowing that, —as ye are sharers of the sufferings, so, also of the encouragement.

8 Kwa kuwa tupala kwaa mwenga muwe alalo, alongo, kuhusu matatizo yatubile nayo kolo Asia. Twationewa zaidi ya twatiweza potwa, kati panga tubile kwaa ni litumaini lya tama kae.

For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened in Asia, —that, exceedingly, beyond power, were we weighed down, so that we despaired, even of life.

9 Kweli twabile ni hukumu ya kiwo nnani yitu. Lakini yoo yabile ni kutupanga twenga tubeke kwaa litumaini nnani yitu wene, badala yake tubeke litumaini katika Nnongo, ywafufua bandu.

But, we ourselves, within ourselves, have had the sentence of death, that we might not rest our confidence upon ourselves, but upon God, who raiseth the dead,

10 Ywatulopwile twenga boka ago maafa ga mauti, na alowa kutulopwa kae. Tubekite ujasiri witu katika ywembe panga alowa kutulopwa kae.

Who, out of so great a death, rescued us, and will rescue, —unto whom we have turned our hope, [that], even yet, he will rescue:

11 Alowa panga nyoo kati ya mwenga yamwatitusaidia twenga kwa maombi ginu. Nga nyoo baingi baloa toa shukrani kwa niaba yitu kwa ajili ya upendeleo wa nema tupyilwe twenga pitya maombi ya baingi.

Ye also labouring together on our behalf, by your supplication, that, unto many persons, being due the gift of favour, unto us, through means of many, might thanks be given in our behalf.

12 Twaipunia lee: ushuhuda wa dhamiri yitu. kwa mana ni katika nia sapi ni usapi wa Nnongo panga twatiyenda wene katika dunia. Tupangite nyoo hasa ni mwenga, na katika hekima kwaa ya ulimwengu, lakini badala yake ni pitya neema ya Nnongo.

For, our boasting, is, this, —the witness of our conscience, that, in sanctity and sincerity of God, [and] not in fleshly wisdom, but in God’s favour, have we behaved ourselves in the world, —and more abundantly towards you.

13 Twaandikiya kwaa chochote ambacho muweza kwaa kukisoma au elewa. Nibile na ujasiri

For, no other things, are we writing unto you, than what ye are either reading or even acknowledging, —I hope, moreover, that, throughout, ye will acknowledge,

14 panga kwa sehemu muyomwile kutuyowa. Nibile ni ujasiri katika lisoba lya Ngwana Yesu twalowa sababu yinu kwa ajili ya kiburi chinu, kati yaa mwamubile kwitu.

According as ye have also acknowledged us, in part, —that, your theme of boasting, we are, even indeed as, ye, also [shall be], ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.

15 Kwa mana nibile na ujasiri kuhusu lee, nipala isa kwinu kwanza, ili panga muweze pakya faida ya tembelewa mara ibele.

And, in this confidence, I purposed, before, to come unto you, —in order that, a second joy, ye might have, —

16 Nibile najiandaa kubatembelea kae wakati wakuyenda Makedonia. Kae nipala isa kubatembelea kae muda nakerebuka boka Makedonia, na boka po mwenga kunituma nenga wakati niyenga Uyahudi.

And, by your means, to pass into Macedonia, and, again, from Macedonia, to come unto you, and, by you, be set forward unto Judea: —

17 Panibile nawasa namna yee, je nibile nasitasita? Je naandaa nakowe lingana na viwango ya bandu, ili panga nibaye, “Eloo, eloo” na Hapana, hapana” kwa muda umo?

This, then, being my purpose, perhaps, after all, with lightness, I dealt [with the matter]? or, the things that I purpose, according to the flesh, I purpose, —that, with me, should be the Yea, yea, and the Nay, nay?

18 Lakini kati Nnongo ya abile mwaminifu, twabaya kwaa yoti “Eloo” na “Hapana.'

Faithful, however, is God, in that, our discourse, which was [delivered] unto you, is not Yea and Nay;

19 Kwa kuwa mwana wa Nnongo, Yesu Kristo, ywabile Silvano, Timotheo ni nenga twabile twantangaza nkati yinu, abile kwaa “Eloo” na “Hapana.” Badala yake, ywembe wakati woti ni “Eloo.”

For, the Son of God, Christ Jesus—who, among you, through us, was proclaimed, —through me, and Silvanus, and Timothy, became not Yea and Nay, —but Yea, in him, hath it become;

20 Kwa mana ahadi zoti za Nnongo ni “Eloo” katika ywembe. Nga nyo kae pitya ywembe twabaya 'Amina” kwa utukufu wa Nnongo.

For, how many soever be the promises of God, in him, is the Yea, —wherefore also, through him, [be] the Amen, unto God, for glory, through us.

21 Nambeambe Nnongo ywaatuthibitisha twenga pamope ni mwenga katika Kristo, nga atutumile twenga.

Now, he that confirmeth us, together with you, for Christ, and hath anointed us, is God:

22 Abekitea muhuri nnani yitu na kutupeya Roho katika mioyo yitu kati dhamana ya chelo chabile alowa kutupeya baadae.

Who also hath sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

23 Badala yake, namloba Nnongo anishuhudie nenga panga sababu yanipangile niise kwaa Korintho panga nibaelemee kwaa mwenga.

But, I, call upon God, as a witness, against my own soul, —that, to spare you, not yet, have I come unto Corinth:

24 Ayee ibile kwaa sababu twajaribu dhibiti jinsi imani yinu yaipalikwa kuwa, Badala yake, tupanga pamope ni mwenga kwa ajili ya puraha yinu, kati yamuyemite katika imani yinu.

Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are, helpers, of your joy, for, by your faith, ye stand.
