1 Balo bote bababile na likongwa kati abanda babatolwa angwana babe Kati bene heshima boti, bapalikwa panga nyo linga lina lya Nnongo kenelii tukanilwe.
As many as are servants under a yoke, let them reckon their own masters worthy of all honor, that evil may not be spoken of the Name of God and the teaching;
2 Abanda bene angwana baba aminile kene bachalawe kwa sababu bembe alongo. Badala bantumikie muno kwasababu angwana babayatia kasi yabe babaaminile na apendwa. kuapundisa makowe gaa.
and those having believing masters, do not let them slight [them], because they are brothers, but rather let them serve, because they are steadfast and beloved, who are partaking of the benefit. Be teaching and exhorting these things;
3 Mene haba mundu jwapundisa upotovu agapokyelii maelekezo ngitu gaga aminike, na ago makowe ga Bwana witu Yesu Kirisitu, mene bagayeketyalii mapundiso lyalyapeleka kuutakatifu.
if anyone be teaching otherwise, and does not consent to sound words—those of our Lord Jesus Christ—and to the teaching according to piety,
4 Mundu jwo andakwipuna na atangitelii chochote. Badala yake inda yangabana na shindani juu ya makowe makene gaa gabeleka bwingu, bulwe, matusi, mawazo gananyata.
he is proud, knowing nothing, but unhealthy about questions and word-striving, out of which come envy, strife, slanders, evil-surmisings,
5 Na bulwe want kila chuba kati bandu bene malango yayialabike. Kuileka kweli. Bapikilia utawa ndila ya utajili.
wranglings of men wholly corrupted in mind, and destitute of the truth, supposing the piety to be gain; depart from such;
6 Sasa utauwa nalizika ni pwala nguloo.
but it is great gain—the piety with contentment;
7 Mana twaichilii na kilebe chochote duniani. Wala tuputwalii kilibe chochote buka duniani.
for we brought nothing into the world—because neither are we able to carry out anything;
8 Badala yake twatosheka chakulya na ngubo.
but having food and raiment—with these we will suffice ourselves;
9 Na boo babapanga na mali baluatumbukya majalibuni, mutego, Tumbukya mulalo wananchima tamaa mbaya na kikowe chochote chakibapanga bandu batumbuki mumaangamizi na ualibifu.
and those intending to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many desires, foolish and hurtful, that sink men into ruin and destruction,
10 Kupenda mbanje mwanzo wa ualibifu. Bandu babaminyikia haya batikuobeya kutalu na imani na baiomite bene oni yananchima.
for the love of money is a root of all the evils, which certain [ones] longing for went astray from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows;
11 Lakini wenga mundu wa Nnongo, ughatile makowe goo. Ukingame haki utauwa, uaminifu, upendo, vumilia na upole.
and you, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness.
12 Ukumbwe ngondo inanoga. Umuliye bwumi wangali yomoka. Yabile sababu you wapiite usaidi nnongi masaidi bananchima kwa chilo chakibii kigolou. (aiōnios )
Be striving the good strife of the faith; be laying hold on the continuous life to which you also were called, and did profess the right profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
13 Nakupei amri nnongi ya Nnongo, ywapanga ilibe yoti ilame, na nnongi ya Yesu Kirisitu, ywabaite nnongi ya kweli kwa Pontio Pilato.
I charge you, before God, who is making all things alive, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the right profession before Pontius Pilate,
14 Utunze amri kwakamilifu, bila yogopa, mpaka isa kwa Nngwana witu Yesu Kirisitu.
that you keep the command unspotted, unblameable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Nnongo aluathibitisha Isa kwake kwa wakati wake wabile sawasawa-Nnongo, ywabalikilwe, ngupu ya kichakee, mfalme ywatawala, Nngwana ywatawala.
which He will show in His own times—the blessed and only sovereign, the King of the kings and Lord of the lords,
16 Kichake ywa lama bila yomoka ywatama katika bweya wangali alibika. Ntupu mundu ywaweza kumona wala kunola. Kachake ibe hesima na uwecho wangeyomoka. Amina. (aiōnios )
having immortality alone, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one of men saw, nor is able to see, to whom [is] honor and perpetual might! Amen. (aiōnios )
17 mwabakie matajiri ba dunia tuno kene baipune, na baubilii utajiri, Mana wokakikalii. Badala yake, palikwa bamuubili Nnongo. Ywembe nga tupea utajiri wote linga tupuloki. (aiōn )
Charge those rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who is giving to us all things richly for enjoyment— (aiōn )
18 Mwabakie babange gananoga, batajirike katika lyengo linanoga, babe babakaribisha na mwoyo wa piya.
to do good, to be rich in good works, to be ready to impart, willing to communicate,
19 Katika ndila yoo baibekya msingi unanoga kwa jambo lyalya isa linga bawesa tama maisa kamili.
treasuring up to themselves a right foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on [that which is] truly life.
20 Timotheo, ulindile chaupeilwe. Ughakwepe ga kilalo na taukana kwa kilogologe na ubuchu makema maarifa.
O Timotheus, guard the thing entrusted, avoiding the profane vain-words and opposition of the falsely-named knowledge,
21 Baadhi ya bandu batangaza makoe gaa, na nyo bakisiim bakisiim imani. Neema ibe pamope nawe.
which certain [ones] professing—swerved concerning the faith. The grace [is] with you! Amen.
