1 Athesalonike 5
1 Nambeambe kwa habari ya muda na nyakati, alongo, ntopo haja panga kilebe chochote kiandikwe kwinu.
But about the times and the seasons, brothers, ye have no need to be written to you.
2 Kwa mana mwenga mwabene mutangite kwa usahihi ya kuwa lisoba lya Ngwana yaisa kati mwii ywaisa kilo.
For ye yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
3 Palo palongela pabile “Amani ni usalama”, nga uharibifu huisa gafla. Ni kati utungu ywauisa kwa mao ywabile ni numbo. Baepuka kwaa kwa ndela yoyote.
For when they say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction approaches them, as the woman having birth pangs in her womb, and they will, no, not escape.
4 Lakini mwenga, alongo mubile kwaa mu'libendo hata lelo lisoba lyaisa kati mwii.
But ye, brothers, are not in darkness, so that the day would seize you as a thief.
5 Kwa mana mwenga mwabote ni bana ba bweya na bana ba mutwekati. Twenga tubile kwaa bana ba kilo au balibendo.
Ye are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
6 Nga nyo bai, kana tugonje kati benge bangonjike. Ila tukeshe na kuwa makini.
So then let us not sleep, as also the others, but let us watch and be sober.
7 Kwa kuwa bagonjike ugonja na babalewa ulewa kilo.
For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are intoxicated get drunk at night.
8 Kwa mana twenga ni bana ba mutwekati, tube makini. Tuwale ngao ya imani na upendo, na, kofia ya chuma, ambayo ni uhakika wa lopolelwa kwa muda woisa.
But we, being of the day, should be sober, putting on a breastplate of faith and love, and a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 Kwa mana Nnongo atuchawa kwaa mwanzo kwa ajili ghadhabu, ila kwa kupata lopolelwa kwa ndela ya Ngwana Yesu Kristo.
Because God appointed us not for wrath, but for an acquired possession of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us.
10 Ywembe nga ywaawile ili panga, mana tubile minyo au tugonjike, twatama pamope ni ywembe.
So that, whether we are awake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Kwa eyo, mufarijiane na kuchengana mwenga kwa mwenga, kati yaibile tayari mwapanga.
Therefore encourage each other, and build ye up one by one, just as ye also are doing.
12 Alongo, twaaloba mubatangite balo batumilwe nkati yinu na balo babile nnani yinu katika Ngwana na balo babile ashauri.
And we ask you, brothers, to acknowledge those who labor among you, and who lead you in the Lord, and who admonish you,
13 Twaaloba kae muwatangite na kuwapeya heshima katika upendo kwa sababu ya kazi yabe. Mube na amani nkati yinu mwenga mwabene.
and to esteem them with exceptional love because of their work. Live peaceably among yourselves.
14 Twabasihi. alongo, mubakanye babile kwaa yenda kwa utaratibu, mubatie mwoyo babile batikata tamaa. Mubasaidie balo babile anyonge, na mube avumilivu kwa bote.
And we encourage you, brothers, admonish the unruly, strengthen the weak-spirited, help the infirmed, be patient toward all.
15 Mulinge kana abe hata yumo yeyote ywalepa baya kwa baya kwa mundu yoyote. Badala yake, mupange gabile mema kwa kila yumo winu na kwa bandu bote.
See that not any man repays evil for evil to any man, but always pursue the good, both for each other and for all.
16 Mupurahi masoba gote.
Rejoice always.
17 Mulobe bila kukoma.
Pray without ceasing.
18 Munshukuru Nnongo kwa kila likowe, kwa sababu ago nga mapenzi ga Nnongo kwinu katika Yesu Kristo.
In everything express thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19 Kana mumzimishe Roho.
Do not quench the Spirit.
20 Kana muudharau unabii.
Do not disdain prophecies,
21 Mugajaribu makowe gote. Mugakamwe lya libile jema.
but examine all things. Hold firm the good.
22 Muepuke kila mwonekano ba uovu.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 Nnongo wa amani abakamilishe katika utakatifu. Roho, nafsi na yega muitunze bila mawaa katika kuisa kwake Ngwana witu Yesu Kristo.
And may the God of peace himself sanctify you thoroughly. And may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Ywembe ywaabakemile ni mwaminifu, ni ywembe nga mwenye kupanga.
Faithful is he who calls you, who also will do it.
25 Mwalongo, mutulobiye kae.
Brothers, pray about us.
26 Mubasalimye alongo bote kwa busu litakatifu.
Salute all the brothers by a holy kiss.
27 Nabasihi katika Ngwana panga barua yee muisome kwa alongo bote.
I adjure you by the Lord that the letter be read to all the holy brothers.
28 Neema ya Ngwana witu Yesu Kristo ibo pamope ni mwenga.
