Isambulo 7
1 Emva kwalezizinto-ke ngabona ingilosi ezine zimi emagumbini womane omhlaba zibambe imimoya emine yomhlaba, ukuze kungavunguzi moya emhlabeni, kumbe olwandle, loba kwesisodwa isihlahla.
And, after these things, I saw four angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind might not blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor on any tree.
2 Ngasengibona enye ingilosi isenyuka isuka lapho eliphuma khona ilanga, ilophawu lukaNkulunkulu ophilayo; yasimemeza ngelizwi elikhulu kungilosi ezine, okwakunikwe kuzo ukona umhlaba lolwandle,
And I saw another angel ascending from the rising sun, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom power was given to injure the earth, and the sea;
3 isithi: Lingoni umhlaba, kumbe ulwandle, kumbe izihlahla, size siphawule izinceku zikaNkulunkulu wethu emabunzini azo.
saying, Injure not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God, in their foreheads.
4 Ngasengisizwa inani elababephawulwa: Zinkulungwane ezilikhulu lamatshumi amane lane abaphawulwayo ezizweni zonke zabantwana bakoIsrayeli;
And I heard the number of those that were sealed: one hundred and forty-four thousand, who were sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel.
5 esizweni sakoJuda kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoRubeni kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoGadi kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili;
Of the tribe of Judah, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad, were sealed twelve thousand.
6 esizweni sakoAsheri kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoNafithali kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoManase kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili;
Of the tribe of Asher, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Naphtali, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasseh, were sealed twelve thousand.
7 esizweni sakoSimeyoni kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoLevi kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoIsakari kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili;
Of the tribe of Simeon, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar, were sealed twelve thousand.
8 esizweni sakoZebuloni kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoJosefa kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili; esizweni sakoBhenjamini kwaphawulwa abazinkulungwane ezilitshumi lambili.
Of the tribe of Zebulon, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph, were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin, were sealed twelve thousand.
9 Emva kwalezizinto ngabona, khangela-ke, ixuku elikhulu, okungelamuntu ongalibala, elivela kuzo zonke izizwe lemihlobo labantu lezindimi, limi phambi kwesihlalo sobukhosi laphambi kweWundlu, lembethe izembatho ezimhlophe, lengatsha zezihlahla zamalala ezandleni zabo;
After this, I saw, and beheld a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation, and tribe, and people, and language, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 njalo limemeza ngelizwi elikhulu, lisithi: Usindiso kuNkulunkulu wethu ohlezi esihlalweni sobukhosi, lakulo iWundlu.
and they cry with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!
11 Lengilosi zonke zazimi zihanqe isihlalo sobukhosi labadala lezidalwa ezine eziphilayo, zasezisiwa ngobuso bazo phambi kwesihlalo sobukhosi, zasezikhonza uNkulunkulu,
And all the messengers stood round about the throne, and about the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell down on their faces, before the throne, and worshiped God;
12 zisithi: Ameni. Ukudunyiswa lobukhosi lenhlakanipho lokubonga lodumo lamandla lengalo kakube kuNkulunkulu wethu kuze kube nini lanini. Ameni. (aiōn g165)
saying, Amen: the blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honor, and the power, and the strength, be to our God for ever and ever: Amen. (aiōn g165)
13 Omunye wabadala wasephendula, esithi kimi: Laba abembethe izembatho ezimhlophe, ngobani, futhi bavela ngaphi?
And one of the elders answered, saying to me, As for those who are clothed with white apparel, who are they, and whence do they come?
14 Ngasengisithi kuye: Nkosi, nguwe owaziyo. Wasesithi kimi: Laba yibo abaphuma ekuhluphekeni okukhulu, basebehlamba izembatho zabo benza izembatho zabo zaba mhlophe egazini leWundlu.
And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they who have come out of much tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb:
15 Ngakho baphambi kwesihlalo sobukhosi sikaNkulunkulu, bamkhonza emini lebusuku ethempelini lakhe; lohleziyo esihlalweni sobukhosi uzabasibekela.
therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve him, day and night, in his temple; and he who sits upon the throne, pitches his tabernacle over them.
16 Kabasayikulamba, njalo kabasayikoma, lelanga kaliyikuwela phezu kwabo, kumbe lokutshisa;
They shall hunger no more, neither shall they thirst any more; nor shall the sun fall upon them, nor any heat:
17 ngoba iWundlu elingaphakathi kwesihlalo sobukhosi lizabondla, libakhokhelele emithonjeni ephilayo yamanzi; loNkulunkulu uzakwesula zonke inyembezi emehlweni abo.
for the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, shall feed them, and he shall lead them to fountains of living water; and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
