1 Ukulinda ngokuthula kuyindumiso kuwe, Nkulunkulu, eZiyoni, lesifungo sizagcwaliswa kuwe.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm and Song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion: and to thee shall the vow be performed.
2 Wena ozwa umkhuleko, yonke inyama izakuza kuwe.
O thou that hearest prayer, to thee shall all flesh come.
3 Izinto zobubi zingehlule. Iziphambeko zethu, wena uzenzele inhlawulo yokuthula.
Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
4 Ubusisiwe omkhethayo, omsondezayo ukuthi ahlale emagumeni akho. Sizasutha ngokuhle kwendlu yakho, ithempeli lakho elingcwele.
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach to thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
5 Ngezinto ezesabekayo uzasiphendula, Nkulunkulu wosindiso lwethu, themba lemikhawulo yonke yomhlaba, lelabakhatshana elwandle.
By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
6 Omisa izintaba ngamandla akhe, ebhince amandla.
Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:
7 Othulisa ukuduma kwezinlwandle, lenhlokomo yamagagasi azo, lokuxokozela kwabantu.
Who stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
8 Labakhileyo emikhawulweni bayesaba iziboniso zakho; wenza kuhlabele kuthokoze ukuphuma kokusa lokokuhlwa.
They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy signs: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
9 Uyahambela umhlaba uwuthelele, uwuvundise kakhulu; umfula kaNkulunkulu ugcwele amanzi; uyabalungisela amabele, lapho uwulungisa ngokunjalo.
Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them grain, when thou hast so provided for it.
10 Uyathelela kakhulu imisele yawo, ulalise imigelo yawo, uyithambise ngezihlambo, ubusise ukumila kwawo.
Thou waterest the ridges of it abundantly: thou settlest its furrows: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest its growth.
11 Uyethesa umnyaka ngomqhele wobuhle bakho; lemikhondo yakho ithonta amafutha.
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
12 Ithontela amadlelo eganga, lamaqaqa embethe intokozo.
They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 Amadlelo embethe imihlambi, lezigodi zisitshekelwe ngamabele; kuyajabula kakhulu, njalo kuhlabele.
The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with grain; they shout for joy, they also sing.
