1 Inikeni iNkosi, lina madodana abalamandla, inikeni iNkosi udumo lamandla.

A Psalme of David. Give vnto the Lord, ye sonnes of the mightie: giue vnto the Lord glorie and strength.

2 Inikeni iNkosi udumo lwebizo layo, likhothame eNkosini ebuhleni bobungcwele.

Giue vnto the Lord glorie due vnto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.

3 Ilizwi leNkosi liphezu kwamanzi; uNkulunkulu wenkazimulo uyaduma; iNkosi iphezu kwamanzi amanengi.

The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.

4 Ilizwi leNkosi lilamandla, ilizwi leNkosi lilobukhosi.

The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.

5 Ilizwi leNkosi lephula imisedari, yebo, iNkosi yephula imisedari yeLebhanoni.

The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 Yenza yona-ke iqolotshe njengethole, iLebhanoni leSiriyoni njengethole lenyathi.

He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.

7 Ilizwi leNkosi lidabula amalangabi omlilo.

The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.

8 Ilizwi leNkosi lizamazamisa inkangala, iNkosi izamazamisa inkangala yeKadeshi.

The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.

9 Ilizwi leNkosi lizalisa izimpala, lihlubule amahlathi; lethempelini layo konke kuthi: Udumo.

The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory.

10 UJehova uhlezi phezu kukazamcolo, yebo, uJehova uhlezi eyiNkosi kuze kube nininini.

The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

11 INkosi izanika abantu bayo amandla; iNkosi ibusise abantu bayo ngokuthula.

The Lord shall giue strength vnto his people: the Lord shall blesse his people with peace.
