1 Dumisani iNkosi! Dumisani uNkulunkulu endlini yakhe engcwele; mdumiseni emkhathini wamandla akhe.

Praise ye the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in his glorious firmament!

2 Mdumiseni ngenxa yezenzo zakhe ezilamandla, limdumise ngenxa yobunengi bobukhulu bakhe.

Praise him for his mighty deeds! Praise him according to his excellent greatness!

3 Mdumiseni ngokuvuthelwa kophondo, limdumise ngogubhu lwezintambo lechacho,

Praise him with the sound of trumpets! Praise him with the psaltery and harp!

4 limdumise ngesigujana langokusina, limdumise ngezinto zokuhlabelela ezilentambo langomhlanga,

Praise him with the timbrel and dance! Praise him with stringed instruments and pipes!

5 limdumise ngensimbi ezincencethayo ezihlokomayo, limdumise ngensimbi ezincencethayo ezikhala kakhulu.

Praise him with the clear-sounding cymbals! Praise him with the high-sounding cymbals!

6 Konke okuphefumulayo kakudumise iNkosi. Dumisani iNkosi!

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD! Praise ye the LORD!
