1 Labo abathembela eNkosini banjengentaba iZiyonienganyikinyekiyo, emi kuze kube phakade.

A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but remains forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

3 Ngoba intonga yobukhosi yobubi kayiyikuhlala phezu kwesabelo sabalungileyo, ukuze abalungileyo bangeluleli izandla zabo kokubi.

For the scepter of wickedness will not remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous will not use their hands to do evil.

4 Nkosi, yenza okuhle kubo abalungileyo lakubo abaqotho enhliziyweni zabo.
