UHezekheli 39

1 Wena-ke ndodana yomuntu, profetha umelene loGogi, uthi: Itsho njalo iNkosi uJehova: Khangela, ngimelane lawe, wena Gogi, siphathamandla esiyinhloko seMesheki leThubhali.

And you O son of humankind prophesy on Gog and you will say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] against you O Gog [the] prince of [the] head of Meshech and Tubal.

2 Ngizakutshibilikisa, ngitshiye ingxenye yesithupha, ngikwenze wenyuke uvela emaceleni enyakatho, ngikulethe phezu kwezintaba zakoIsrayeli.

And I will turn around you and I will lead on you and I will bring up you from [the] remotest parts of [the] north and I will bring you on [the] mountains of Israel.

3 Besengitshaya idandili lakho lisuke esandleni sakho sokhohlo, ngenze imitshoko yakho iwe esandleni sakho sokunene.

And I will strike bow your from [the] hand of left your and arrows your from [the] hand of right your I will make fall.

4 Uzawela phezu kwezintaba zakoIsrayeli, wena, lamaviyo akho wonke, labantu abalawe. Ngizakunikela enyonini ezidla inyama, enyonini zalo lonke uphiko, lakuzilo zeganga, ube yikudla.

On [the] mountains of Israel you will fall you and all troops your and peoples which [are] with you to bird[s] of prey of bird[s] every wing and [the] animal[s] of the field I will give you for food.

5 Uzawela ebusweni bomhlaba, ngoba mina ngikhulumile, itsho iNkosi uJehova.

On [the] surface of the field you will fall for I I have spoken [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

6 Njalo ngizathumela umlilo kuMagogi, laphakathi kwabahlala ngokonwaba ezihlengeni. Khona bazakwazi ukuthi ngiyiNkosi.

And I will send fire on Magog and on [the] inhabitants of the islands to security and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.

7 Njalo ngizakwenza ukuthi ibizo lami elingcwele laziwe phakathi kwabantu bami uIsrayeli; kangisayikungcolisa ibizo lami elingcwele; lezizwe zizakwazi ukuthi ngiyiNkosi, oyiNgcwele koIsrayeli.

And [the] name of holiness my I will make known in among people my Israel and not I will let be profaned [the] name of holiness my again and they will know the nations that I Yahweh [am] holy in Israel.

8 Khangelani, sekufikile sekwenzakele, itsho iNkosi uJehova; yilo lolusuku engakhuluma ngalo.

There! [it is] coming and it will occur [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh it [is] the day which I have spoken.

9 Labahlali bemizi yakoIsrayeli bazaphuma, batshise baphembe umlilo ngezikhali, lezihlangu ezinkulu lamahawu, ngamadandili, langemitshoko, langezinduku zesandla, langemikhonto, baphembe umlilo ngakho iminyaka eyisikhombisa;

And they will go out [the] inhabitants of - [the] cities of Israel and they will kindle and they will kindle a fire with weapon and shield and body shield with bow and with arrows and with staff of hand and with spear and they will kindle with them fire seven years.

10 ukuze bangathezi izinkuni egangeni, bangagamuli emaguswini; ngoba bazaphemba umlilo ngezikhali; baphange labo ababaphangayo, bemuke ababemukayo, itsho iNkosi uJehova.

And not they will carry wood from the field and not they will cut [it] from the forests for with the weapon they will kindle fire and they will plunder [those who] plundered them and they will take as spoil [those who] took as spoil them [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

11 Kuzakuthi-ke ngalolosuku, ngiphe uGogi lapho indawo yengcwaba koIsrayeli, isihotsha sabadluli empumalanga kolwandle, esizavimbela abadluli. Lalapho bazangcwaba uGogi lexuku lakhe lonke; basibize ngokuthi yisiHotsha sexuku likaGogi.

And it will be on the day that I will give to Gog - a place there a burial site in Israel [the] Valley of the Travellers [the] east of the sea and [will] block [the] way of it those [who] pass through and people will bury there Gog and all (multitude his *Q(K)*) and they will call [it] [the] valley of Hamon-Gog.

12 Njalo indlu yakoIsrayeli izabangcwaba, ukuze bahlambulule ilizwe, okwenyanga eziyisikhombisa.

And they will bury them [the] house of Israel so as to cleanse the land seven months.

13 Yebo bonke abantu belizwe bazabangcwaba, kube libizo kubo ngosuku engizadunyiswa ngalo, itsho iNkosi uJehova.

And they will bury [them] all [the] people of the land and it will become for them a name [the] day of my glorifying myself [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

14 Njalo bazakwehlukanisa amadoda ahlezi edabula phakathi kwelizwe ukuyangcwaba, labedlulayo, labo abaseleyo ebusweni belizwe, ukuze balihlambulule. Ekupheleni kwenyanga eziyisikhombisa bazahlola.

And people of continuity they will set apart [who] pass in the land [who] bury those [who] pass through those [who] remain on [the] surface of the land to cleanse it from [the] end of seven months they will make a search.

15 Labedlulayo bazadlula phakathi kwelizwe, lapho bebona ithambo lomuntu, uzakwakha isibonakaliso phansi kwalo, baze abangcwabi balingcwabe esihotsheni sexuku likaGogi.

And they will pass those [who] pass in the land and they will see a bone of a human and he will build beside it a marker until they have buried it those [who] bury to [the] valley of Hamon-Gog.

16 Futhi lebizo lomuzi lizakuba yiHamona. Ngokunjalo bazahlambulula ilizwe.

And also [the] name of a city [is] Hamonah and they will cleanse the land.

17 Wena-ke, ndodana yomuntu, itsho njalo iNkosi uJehova: Tshono enyonini yalo lonke uphiko, lakuyo yonke inyamazana yeganga: Zihlanganiseni, lize, libuthane livele inhlangothi zonke kumhlatshelo wami engiwuhlabele lina, umhlatshelo omkhulu phezu kwezintaba zakoIsrayeli, ukuze lidle inyama linathe igazi.

And you O son of humankind thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh say to bird[s] of every wing and to every - animal of the field assemble and come gather yourselves from round about to sacrifice my which I [am] sacrificing for you a sacrifice great on [the] mountains of Israel and you will eat flesh and you will drink blood.

18 Lizakudla inyama yamaqhawe, linathe igazi leziphathamandla zomhlaba, elezinqama, elamawundlu, lelezimbuzi, elamajongosi, konke kungokunonisiweyo kweBashani.

[the] flesh of Warriors you will eat and [the] blood of [the] princes of the land you will drink rams lambs and goats bulls fatlings of Bashan all of them.

19 Njalo lizakudla amafutha lize lisuthe, linathe igazi lize lidakwe, ngomhlatshelo wami engilihlabele wona.

And you will eat fat to satiety and you will drink blood to drunkenness from sacrifice my which I have sacrificed for you.

20 Ngokunjalo lizasutha etafuleni lami ngamabhiza lezinqola, ngamaqhawe, langawo wonke amadoda empi, itsho iNkosi uJehova.

And you will be satisfied at table my horse and charioteer warrior and every man of war [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

21 Njalo ngizamisa inkazimulo yami phakathi kwezizwe; lezizwe zonke zizabona isahlulelo sami engisenzileyo, lesandla sami engisibeke phezu kwabo.

And I will set glory my among the nations and they will see all the nations judgment my which I have done and hand my which I have put on them.

22 Ngokunjalo abendlu kaIsrayeli bazakwazi ukuthi ngiyiNkosi uNkulunkulu wabo kusukela ngalolosuku kusiya phambili.

And they will know [the] house of Israel that I [am] Yahweh God their from the day that and onwards.

23 Lezizwe zizakwazi ukuthi abendlu kaIsrayeli bathunjwa ngenxa yobubi bayo; ngenxa yokuthi baphambuka bemelene lami ngakho ngafihla ubuso bami kubo, ngabanikela esandleni sezitha zabo; ngokunjalo bonke bawa ngenkemba.

And they will know the nations that for iniquity their they went into exile [the] house of Israel on that they had acted unfaithfully against me and I hid face my from them and I gave them in [the] hand of opponents their and they fell by the sword all of them.

24 Ngabaphatha njengokokungcola kwabo lanjengokweziphambeko zabo, ngafihla ubuso bami kubo.

According to uncleanness their and according to transgressions their I have dealt them and I hid face my from them.

25 Ngakho itsho njalo iNkosi uJehova: Khathesi ngizabuyisa abathunjwa bakaJakobe, ngibe lesihawu phezu kwayo yonke indlu kaIsrayeli, ngibe lobukhwele ngebizo lami elingcwele.

Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh now I will turn back ([the] captivity of *Q(k)*) Jacob and I will have compassion on all [the] house of Israel and I will be zealous for [the] name of holiness my.

26 Sebethwele ihlazo labo, laso sonke isiphambeko sabo abaphambeke ngaso bemelene lami, lapho bahlala bevikelekile elizweni labo, engekho obethusayo.

And they will bear disgrace their and all unfaithfulness their which they acted unfaithfully against me when dwell they on own land their to security and there not [will be one who] disturbs [them].

27 Sengibabuyisile bevela ebantwini, ngabaqoqa bevela emazweni ezitha zabo, ngangcweliswa kubo emehlweni ezizwe ezinengi.

When bring back I them from the peoples and I will gather them from [the] lands of enemies their and I will show myself holy by them to [the] eyes of the nations many.

28 Khona bazakwazi ukuthi ngiyiNkosi uNkulunkulu wabo, engenza ukuthi bakhokhelelwe ekuthunjweni phakathi kwezizwe; kodwa ngizabaqoqela elizweni lakibo, kangisayikutshiya lamunye wabo khona.

And they will know that I [am] Yahweh God their because sent into exile I them to the nations and I will gather them to own land their and not I will leave behind again any of them there.

29 Njalo kangisayikufihla ubuso bami kubo, ngoba ngithululele umoya wami phezu kwendlu kaIsrayeli, itsho iNkosi uJehova.

And not I will hide again face my from them [I] who I have poured out spirit my on [the] house of Israel [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
