1 Njalo la ayengamadodana kaDavida awazalelwa eHebroni: Izibulo nguAmnoni kuAhinowama umJizereyelikazi; eyesibili nguDaniyeli kuAbigayili umKharmelikazi;
Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:
2 eyesithathu nguAbisalomu indodana kaMahaka indodakazi kaTalimayi inkosi yeGeshuri; eyesine nguAdonija indodana kaHagithi;
The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:
3 eyesihlanu nguShefathiya kuAbithali; eyesithupha nguIthereyamu kuEgila umkakhe.
The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.
4 Abayisithupha bazalelwa yena eHebroni, lapho abusa khona iminyaka eyisikhombisa lezinyanga eziyisithupha; leJerusalema wabusa iminyaka engamatshumi amathathu lantathu.
These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
5 Lalaba bazalelwa yena eJerusalema: OShimeya loShobabi loNathani loSolomoni, bobane, kuBathishuwa indodakazi kaAmiyeli;
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath–shua the daughter of Ammiel:
6 loIbihari loElishama loElifelethi
Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,
7 loNoga loNefegi loJafiya
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
8 loElishama loEliyada loElifelethi, abayisificamunwemunye.
And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
9 Bonke babengamadodana kaDavida, ngaphandle kwamadodana abafazi abancane, loTamari udadewabo.
These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.
10 Lendodana kaSolomoni yayinguRehobhowamu, uAbhiya indodana yakhe, uAsa indodana yakhe, uJehoshafathi indodana yakhe,
And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 uJoramu indodana yakhe, uAhaziya indodana yakhe, uJowashi indodana yakhe,
Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 uAmaziya indodana yakhe, uAzariya indodana yakhe, uJothamu indodana yakhe,
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 uAhazi indodana yakhe, uHezekhiya indodana yakhe, uManase indodana yakhe,
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 uAmoni indodana yakhe, uJosiya indodana yakhe.
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 Njalo amadodana kaJosiya: Izibulo uJohanani, eyesibili uJehoyakhimi, eyesithathu uZedekhiya, eyesine uShaluma.
And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 Lamadodana kaJehoyakhimi: UJekoniya indodana yakhe, uZedekhiya indodana yakhe.
And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 Njalo amadodana kaJekoniya: UAsiri, uSheyalitiyeli indodana yakhe,
And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son,
18 loMalikiramu, loPhedaya, loShenazari, uJekamiya, uHoshama, loNedabiya.
Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 Njalo amadodana kaPhedaya: OZerubhabheli loShimeyi. Lamadodana kaZerubhabheli: OMeshulamu, loHananiya, loShelomithi udadewabo;
And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:
20 loHashuba, loOheli, loBerekiya, loHasadiya, uJushabi-Hesedi, amahlanu.
And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab–hesed, five.
21 Lamadodana kaHananiya: OPelatiya loJeshaya; amadodana kaRefaya, amadodana kaArinani, amadodana kaObhadiya, amadodana kaShekaniya.
And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.
22 Lamadodana kaShekaniya: UShemaya. Lamadodana kaShemaya: OHathushi loIgali loBariya loNeyariya loShafati, ayisithupha.
And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.
23 Njalo amadodana kaNeyariya: OEliyohenayi loHizikiya loAzirikamu, amathathu.
And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.
24 Njalo amadodana kaEliyohenayi: OHodaviya loEliyashibi loPelaya loAkubi loJohanani loDelaya loAnani, ayisikhombisa.
And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.
