1 UDavida lenduna zebutho behlukanisela-ke inkonzo emadodaneni kaAsafi lakaHemani lakaJeduthuni, abaprofetha ngamachacho, ngezigubhu zezintambo, langensimbi ezincencethayo. Lenani lamadoda omsebenzi lalinjengokwenkonzo yawo:
And David and the captains of the host set apart for service, unto the sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, such as should prophesy, with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals, —and, the number of the workers, for their service, was:
2 Emadodaneni kaAsafi: OZakuri loJosefa loNethaniya loAsarela, amadodana kaAsafi, phansi kwesandla sikaAsafi, owaprofetha ngokwesandla senkosi.
Of the sons of Asaph, Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph, —under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.
3 NgoJeduthuni: Amadodana kaJeduthuni: OGedaliya, loZeri, loJeshaya, uHashabhiya, loMathithiya, beyisithupha, ezandleni zikayise uJeduthuni, owayeprofetha ngechacho, ukubonga lokudumisa iNkosi.
Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun, —Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, with the lyre, as he prophesied, in giving thanks and offering praise unto Yahweh.
4 NgoHemani: Amadodana kaHemani: OBukhiya, uMathaniya, uUziyeli, uShebuweli, loJerimothi, uHananiya, uHanani, uEliyatha, uGidaliti, loRomamiti-Ezeri, uJoshibekasha, uMaloti, uHothiri, uMahaziyothi.
Of Heman, the sons of Heman—Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jeremoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
5 Bonke laba babengamadodana kaHemani umboni wenkosi emazwini kaNkulunkulu ukuphakamisa uphondo. Njalo uNkulunkulu wamnika uHemani amadodana alitshumi lane lamadodakazi amathathu.
All these, were sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the things of God, at the lifting of the horn. And God gave to Heman, fourteen sons and three daughters,
6 Bonke laba babesezandleni zikayise ekuhlabeleleni endlini yeNkosi ngensimbi ezincencethayo, izigubhu zezintambo, lamachacho enkonzweni yendlu kaNkulunkulu, phansi kwesandla senkosi, oAsafi loJeduthuni loHemani.
All these, were under the direction of their father, in the singing of the house of Yahweh, with cymbals, harps and lyres, for the service of the house of God, —Asaph and Jeduthun and Heman, under the direction of the king.
7 Lenani labo kanye labafowabo ababefundiswe ngezingoma zeNkosi, bonke ababelolwazi, lalingamakhulu amabili lamatshumi ayisificaminwembili lesificaminwembili.
And, the number of them—with their brethren, who were instructed in singing unto Yahweh, —even all the skilful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
8 Basebesenza inkatho yokuphosa ngomlindo, omncinyane njengomkhulu, ofundisayo lofundayo.
So they cast lots for their charges, all alike, as the small so the great, the teacher with the learner.
9 Inkatho yokuqala yasiphumela uAsafi kuJosefa; eyesibili kuGedaliya, yena labafowabo lamadodana akhe, belitshumi lambili;
And the first lot came forth for Asaph, to Joseph, —Gedaliah, the second, he and his brethren and his sons, twelve.
10 eyesithathu kuZakuri, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The third, Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
11 eyesine kuIziri, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The fourth, to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
12 eyesihlanu kuNethaniya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
13 eyesithupha kuBukhiya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
14 eyesikhombisa kuAsarela, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
15 eyesificaminwembili kuJeshaya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
16 eyesificamunwemunye kuMathaniya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
17 eyetshumi kuShimeyi, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
18 eyetshumi lanye kuAzareli, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The eleventh, Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
19 eyetshumi lambili kuHashabhiya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
The twelfth, to Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
20 eyetshumi lantathu kuShebuweli, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
21 eyetshumi lane kuMathithiya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
22 eyetshumi lanhlanu kuJeremothi, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the fifteenth, to Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
23 eyetshumi lesithupha kuHananiya, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the sixteenth, to Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
24 eyetshumi lesikhombisa kuJoshibekasha, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the seventeenth, to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
25 eyetshumi lesificaminwembili kuHanani, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the eighteenth, to Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
26 eyetshumi lesificamunwemunye kuMalothi, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the nineteenth, to Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
27 eyamatshumi amabili kuEliyatha, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the twentieth, to Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
28 eyamatshumi amabili lanye kuHothiri, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the twenty-first, to Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
29 eyamatshumi amabili lambili kuGidaliti, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the twenty-second, to Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
30 eyamatshumi amabili lantathu kuMahaziyothi, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili;
As the twenty-third, to Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
31 eyamatshumi amabili lane kuRomamiti-Ezeri, amadodana akhe labafowabo, belitshumi lambili.
As the twenty-fourth, to Romamti-ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
