These, are the sons of Israel, —Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun;

Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher,

And, the sons of Zerah, Zimri and Ethan, and Heman and Calcol and Dara, all of them, five.
7 Njalo amadodana kaKarimi: UAkari, umhluphi kaIsrayeli, owenza isiphambeko ngokuqalekisiweyo.
And, the sons of Carmi, Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in a thing devoted.
8 Njalo amadodana kaEthani: UAzariya.
And, the sons of Ethan, Azariah.
9 Njalo amadodana kaHezironi awazalelwayo: OJerameli loRamu loKalebi.
And, the sons of Hezron, who were born to him, Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Calubai.
10 URamu wasezala uAminadaba; uAminadaba wasezala uNahishoni induna yabantwana bakoJuda.
And, Ram, begat Amminadab, —and, Amminadab, begat Nahshon, leader of the sons of Judah.
11 UNahishoni wasezala uSalima; uSalima wasezala uBhowazi;
And, Nahshon, begat Salma, and, Salma, begat Boaz;
12 uBhowazi wasezala uObedi; uObedi wasezala uJese.
and, Boaz, begat Obed, and, Obed, begat Jesse;
13 UJese wasezala izibulo lakhe uEliyabi, loAbinadaba owesibili, loShimeya owesithathu,
and, Jesse, begat—his firstborn, Eliab, —and Abinadab, the second, and Shimea, the third;
14 uNethaneli owesine, uRadayi owesihlanu,
Nethanel, the fourth, Raddai, the fifth;
15 uOzema owesithupha, uDavida owesikhombisa.
Ozem, the sixth, David, the seventh.

And, Caleb son of Hezron, begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth, —and, these, were her sons, Jesher and Shobab and Ardon.
19 UAzuba esefile uKalebi wazithathela uEfrathi owamzalela uHuri.
And Azubah died, —and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, and she bare to him Hur.
20 UHuri wasezala uUri; uUri wasezala uBhezaleli.
And, Hur, begat Uri, and, Uri, begat Bezalel.
21 Emva kwalokho uHezironi wasengena kundodakazi kaMakiri uyise kaGileyadi; wayithatha eseleminyaka engamatshumi ayisithupha. Yasimzalela uSegubi.
And, afterward, Hezron went in unto the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead, and he took her when he was sixty years old, —and she bare him Segub.
22 USegubi wasezala uJayiri owayelemizi engamatshumi amabili lantathu elizweni leGileyadi.
And, Segub, begat Jair, —who came to have twenty-three cities, in the land of Gilead;
23 Wasethatha kibo iGeshuri leAramu kanye lemizana yeJayiri, kanye leKenathi lemizana yayo; imizi engamatshumi ayisithupha. Bonke labo babengamadodana kaMakiri uyise kaGileyadi.
but Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath and the villages thereof, sixty cities. All these, were the sons of Machir, father of Gilead.
24 Lemva kokufa kukaHezironi eKalebi-Efratha, uAbhiya umkaHezironi wamzalela uAshuri uyise kaThekhowa.
And, after the death of Hezron, Caleb entered Ephrathah, —and, the wife of Hezron, was Abiah, who bare him Ashur, father of Tekoa.
25 Njalo amadodana kaJerameli izibulo likaHezironi ayengoRamu izibulo, loBuna, loOreni, loOzema, uAhiya.
And the sons of Jerahmeel firstborn of Hezron were, the firstborn, Ram, —and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem [of] Ahijah.
26 UJerameli laye wayelomunye umfazi obizo lakhe lalinguAthara; wayengunina kaOnama.
And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name, was Atarah, —the same, was the mother of Onam.
27 Njalo amadodana kaRamu izibulo likaJerameli ayengoMahazi loJamini loEkeri.
And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerameel, were, —Maaz and Jamin, and Eker.
28 Lamadodana kaOnama ayengoShamayi loJada. Lamadodana kaShamayi: ONadabi loAbhishuri.
And the sons of Onam were, Shammai and Jada, —and, the sons of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
29 Lebizo lomkaAbhishuri lalinguAbihayili, owamzalela oAhibani loMolidi.
And, the name of the wife of Abishur, was Abihail, —and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30 Njalo amadodana kaNadabi: OSeledi loAphayimi; kodwa uSeledi wafa engelabantwana.
And, the sons of Nadab, Seled and Appaim, —but Seled died without sons.
31 Njalo amadodana kaAphayimi: UIshi. Lamadodana kaIshi: USheshani. Lamadodana kaSheshani: UAhilayi.
And, the sons of Appaim, Ishi, and, the sons of Ishi, Sheshan, and, the sons of Sheshan, Ahlai.
32 Njalo amadodana kaJada umfowabo kaShamayi: OJetheri loJonathani; kodwa uJetheri wafa engelabantwana.
And, the sons of Jada, brother of Shammai, Jether, and Jonathan, —but Jether died without sons.
33 Njalo amadodana kaJonathani: OPelethi loZaza. Laba babengabantwana bakaJerameli.
And the sons of Jonathan, Peleth and Zaza. These, were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Njalo uSheshani wayengelamadodana, kodwa amadodakazi; njalo uSheshani wayelenceku, umGibhithe, obizo layo lalinguJariha.
Now Sheshan had, no sons, but, daughters, —and, Sheshan, had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha;
35 USheshani wasenika uJariha inceku yakhe indodakazi yakhe yaba ngumkakhe; yasimzalela uAthayi.
so Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant, to wife, —and she bare him Attai.
36 UAthayi wasezala uNathani, uNathani wasezala uZabadi,
And, Attai, begat Nathan, and, Nathan, begat Zabad;
37 uZabadi wasezala uEfilali, uEfilali wasezala uObedi,
and, Zabad, begat Ephlal, and, Ephlal, begat Obed;
38 uObedi wasezala uJehu, uJehu wasezala uAzariya,
and, Obed, begat Jehu, and, Jehu, begat Azariah;
39 uAzariya wasezala uHelezi, uHelezi wasezala uEleyasa,
and, Azariah, begat Helez, and, Helez, begat Eleasah;
40 uEleyasa wasezala uSisimayi, uSisimayi wasezala uShaluma,
and, Eleasah, begat Sismai, and, Sismai, begat Shallum;
41 uShaluma wasezala uJekamiya, uJekamiya wasezala uElishama.
and, Shallum, begat Jekamiah, and, Jekamiah, begat Elishama.
42 Njalo amadodana kaKalebi umfowabo kaJerameli: OMesha, izibulo lakhe, onguyise kaZifi, lamadodana kaMaresha uyise kaHebroni.
Now, the sons of Caleb, brother of Jerahmeel, were, Mesha his firstborn, the same, was the father of Ziph, —and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 Njalo amadodana kaHebroni: OKora loTapuwa loRekemi loShema.
And, the sons of Hebron, Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
44 UShema wasezala uRahama uyise kaJorikeyamu; uRekemi wasezala uShamayi.
And, Shema, begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam, —and, Rekem, begat Shammai.
45 Lendodana kaShamayi: UMawoni; loMawoni wayenguyise kaBeti-Zuri.
And, the son of Shammai, was Maon, —and, Maon, was the father of Beth-zur.
46 UEfa umfazi omncinyane kaKalebi wasezala oHarani loMoza loGazezi; uHarani wasezala uGazezi.
And, Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez, —and, Haran, begat Gazez.
47 Njalo amadodana kaJahidayi: ORegema loJothamu loGeshani loPeleti loEfa loShahafi.
And, the sons of Jahdai, Regem and Jotham and Geshan and Pelet, and Ephah and Shaaph.
48 UMahaka umfazi omncinyane kaKalebi wazala oSheberi loTirihana.
A concubine of Caleb, Maacah, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah;
49 Wasezala uShahafi uyise kaMadimana, uSheva uyise kaMakibena, loyise kaGibeya. Lendodakazi kaKalebi yayinguAkisa.
she also bare Shaaph, father of Madmannah, Sheva, father of Machbena, and father of Gibea, —and, the daughter of Caleb, was Achsah.
50 Laba babengabantwana bakaKalebi, indodana kaHuri, izibulo likaEfratha: OShobhali, uyise kaKiriyathi-Jeyarimi,
These, were the sons of Caleb, sons of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah, —Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;
51 uSalima uyise kaBhethelehema, uHarefi uyise kaBeti-Gaderi.
Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Beth-gader.
52 UShobhali uyise kaKiriyathi-Jeyarimi wayelamadodana: UHarowe, ingxenye yamaMenuhothi.
And Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons, —Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.
53 Njalo insendo zikaKiriyathi-Jeyarimi: AmaIthiri lamaPuti lamaShumathi lamaMishrayi; kwaphuma kuwo amaZorathi lamaEshitawoli.
And, the families of Kiriath-jearim, were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites, —from these, came the Zorathites, and the Eshtaolites.
54 Amadodana kaSalima: OBhethelehema, lamaNetofa, uAtarothi, uBeti-Jowabi, lengxenye yamaManahethi, amaZori.
The sons of Salma, were Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Atrothbeth-joab, —and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites;
55 Lensendo zababhali ababehlala eJabezi, amaTirathi, amaShimeyathi, amaSukathi. Labo babengamaKeni avela kuHamathi uyise wendlu kaRekabi.
and the families of scribes who dwelt at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. The same, are the Kenites who came in from Hammath, father of the house of Rechab.
