1 Zinhle kakhulu inyawo zakho emanyathelweni, awu ndodakazi yenkosana! Amathebe mahle anjengamatshe aligugu, ingathi abunjwa kuhle yingcitshi.

2 Inkaba yakho yindingilizana yesiphathelo esihle esihlala sigcwele iwayini elixutshiweyo. Ukhalo lwakho luyinqunjana yengqoloyi ezingelezwe yizimbali.

Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourisheth, whether the tender grape appeareth, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.
13 Izihlahla zamamandraki zikhupha iphunga elimnandi, kuthi emnyango wakwethu kube lezibiliboco zonke ezintsha lezindala, engikubekele zona, sithandwa sami.
The mandrakes give a fragrance, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.
