1 Mamukeleni lowo okholo lwakhe lubuthakathaka, kungekho kwahlulela ezindabeni eziphikisekayo.
The [one] now being weak in the faith do receive not for passing judgment on reasonings.
2 Omunye umuntu ukholo lwakhe luyamvumela ukuba adle izinto zonke, kodwa omunye umuntu olokholo olubuthakathaka, udla imbhida kuphela.
One indeed believes to eat all things, the [one] however being weak vegetables eats.
3 Umuntu odla izinto zonke akumelanga eyise lowo ongadli konke, lomuntu ongadli konke akumelanga asole umuntu odla konke, ngoba uNkulunkulu umamukele.
The [one] eating the [one] not eating not he should despise, (and *k*) the [one] (now *no*) not eating him eating not he should judge; God for him has received.
4 Ungubani wena ukuba wahlulele inceku yomunye? Ukuma lokuwa kwayo ngokwenkosi yayo. Izakuma, ngoba iNkosi ilamandla okuyimisa.
You yourself who are who is judging another’s servant? To the own master he stands or falls. He will be upheld however, (able is *N(k)O*) for (is *k*) the (Lord *N(K)O*) to uphold him.
5 Omunye umuntu ubona olunye usuku lungcwele kakhulu kulolunye; omunye umuntu ubona insuku zonke zifanana. Umuntu ngamunye kumele akholwe ngokupheleleyo engqondweni yakhe.
One indeed (for *no*) judges a day [to be] above [another] day, one [other] however judges every day [alike]; Each in the own mind should be fully assured.
6 Lowo obona olunye usuku njengoluqakathekileyo, wenzela iNkosi. Lowo odla inyama, udlela iNkosi, ngoba uyambonga uNkulunkulu; njalo lowo oyekelayo, wenzela iNkosi, njalo uyambonga uNkulunkulu.
The [one] regarding the day to [the] Lord regards [it] (and the [one] not regarding the day to [the] Lord not regards [it]; *K*) (And *no*) the [one] eating to [the] Lord eats, he gives thanks for to God; and the [one] not eating to [the] Lord not he eats, and he gives thanks to God.
7 Ngoba kakho phakathi kwethu oziphilela yena yedwa njalo kakho phakathi kwethu ozifelayo yena yedwa.
No [one] for of us to himself lives and no [one] to himself dies.
8 Nxa siphila, siphilela iNkosi; njalo nxa sisifa, sifela eNkosini. Ngakho, loba siphila kumbe sisifa, singabeNkosi.
If both for we shall live, to the Lord we live, if also we shall die, to the Lord we die. If both therefore we shall live, if also we shall die, the Lord’s we are.
9 Ngenxa yasonalesi isizatho, uKhristu wafa, wabuya waphila ukuze abe yiNkosi yabafileyo labaphilayo.
Unto this for Christ (and *k*) died (and rose up *K*) and (lived again, *N(k)O*) that both over [the] dead and living He may rule.
10 Pho wena, kungani usahlulela umzalwane wakho na? Loba kungani useyisa umzalwane wakho na? Ngoba sonke sizakuma phambi kwesihlalo sikaNkulunkulu sokwahlulela.
You yourself however why judge you the brother or you? or also you yourself why do despise the brother of you? All for we will stand before the judgment seat (of God. *N(K)O*)
11 Kulotshiwe ukuthi: “‘Ngeqiniso njengoba ngikhona, ngiphila,’ kutsho UThixo, ‘amadolo wonke azaguqa phambi kwami; ulimi lunye ngalunye luzavuma kuNkulunkulu.’”
It has been written for: Live I myself, says [the] Lord, that to Me myself will bow every knee, and every tongue will confess to God.
12 Ngakho-ke, omunye lomunye wethu uzabika akwenzayo kuNkulunkulu.
So then each of us concerning his own account (will give *NK(o)*) to God.
13 Ngakho kasiyekeleni ukwahlulelana. Esikhundleni salokho zimisele engqondweni yakho ukuba ungabeki isikhubekiso kumbe umgoqo endleleni yomzalwane wakho.
No longer therefore one another shall we judge, but this do determine rather, not to put [any] stumbling block before [your] brother or snare.
14 Njengalowo oseNkosini uJesu, ngiyakholwa ngokupheleleyo ukuthi akulakudla okungcolileyo khona ngokwakho. Kodwa nxa umuntu ecabanga ukuba ulutho lungcolile, ngakho kuye lungcolile.
I know and I have been persuaded in [the] Lord Jesus that nothing [is] unclean through (itself, *NK(o)*) only except by the [one] reckoning anything unclean to be, to that one unclean [it is];
15 Nxa umfowenu ekhathazeka ngenxa yalokho okudlayo, kawusenzi okothando. Ungachithi umfowenu owafelwa nguKhristu ngokudla kwakho.
If (for *N(k)O*) on account of food the brother of you is grieved, no longer no longer according to love are you walking. Not with the food of you that one do destroy for whom Christ died.
16 Ungavumi ukuba lokho wena ocabanga ukuthi kuhle kuthiwe kubi.
Not should be denigrated therefore your good.
17 Ngoba umbuso kaNkulunkulu kawusindaba yokudla lokunatha, kodwa ngowokulunga, lokuthula kanye lokuthokoza kuMoya oNgcwele,
Not for is the kingdom of God eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in [the] Spirit Holy;
18 ngoba lowo okhonza uKhristu ngale indlela uthokozisa uNkulunkulu abukwe langabantu.
The [one] for in (this thing *N(K)O*) serving Christ [is] well-pleasing to God and approved by men.
19 Ngakho kasenzeni imizamo yonke yokwenza okusilethela ukuthula lokusizana ekuphilisaneni koluntu.
So then the [things] of peace we may pursue and the [things] for edification among each other.
20 Ungachithi umsebenzi kaNkulunkulu ngenxa yokudla. Ukudla konke kuhlanzekile, kodwa kubi ukuthi umuntu adle ulutho olwenza omunye akhubeke.
Not for the sake of food do destroy the work of God. All things indeed [are] clean but [it is] evil to the man through a stumbling block eating;
21 Kungcono ukungadli inyama lokunganathi iwayini loba ukungenzi lutho oluzawisa umfowenu.
[It is] good neither to eat meat nor to drink wine nor [anything] in which the brother of you stumbles (or is led into sin or is weak *KO*)
22 Ngakho loba kuyini okukholwayo ngalezizinto akube phakathi kwakho loNkulunkulu. Ubusisiwe umuntu ongazisoliyo ngalokho akukholwayo.
You yourself [the] faith (that *no*) you have to yourself do keep before God; Blessed [is] the [one] not judging himself in what he approves.
23 Kodwa umuntu olokuthandabuza uyalahlwa nxa esidla, ngoba ukudla kwakhe akuveli ekukholweni; njalo konke okungaveli ekukholweni kuyisono.
The [one] however doubting if he shall eat has been condemned, because [it is] not of faith; everything now that [is] not of faith sin is.
