1 Kumqondisi wokuhlabela. ElamaDodana kaKhora. Ingoma ngendlela ye-alamothi. UNkulunkulu uyisiphephelo sethu lamandla ethu, usizo oluhlezi lukhona nxa kulohlupho.

2 Ngakho kangiyikwesaba, umhlaba ungaze ubhidlike lezintaba ziwele ekujuleni kolwandle,

3 loba amanzi alo ehlokoma agubhazele izintaba zivevezele ngokuqubuka kwalo.

4 Kukhona umfula ozifudlana zawo zithokozisa idolobho likaNkulunkulu, indawo engcwele okuhlala kuyo oPhezukonke.

5 UNkulunkulu ungaphakathi kwalo, kaliyikuwiswa; uNkulunkulu uzalisiza ngovivi lokusa.
God is within her: she cannot be shaken. God helps her at the turn of the morning.
6 Izizwe ziyahlokoma, imibuso iyachitheka; uphakamisa ilizwi lakhe umhlaba uncibilike.
Nations roared, kingdoms tottered: he uttered his voice, earth melted away.
7 UThixo uSomandla ulathi; uNkulunkulu kaJakhobe uyinqaba yethu.

8 Wozani libone imisebenzi kaThixo, incithakalo aseyenzile emhlabeni.
Come and see what the Lord has done, working appallingly in the earth.
9 Uyathulisa izimpi kuze kube semikhawulweni yomhlaba; uyalephula idandili avadlaze lomkhonto, utshisa izinqola ngomlilo.
He stills wars to the ends of the earth – breaking the bow, snapping the spear, burning the chariots in the fire.
10 “Thulani, lazi ukuba mina nginguNkulunkulu; ngizaphakanyiswa phakathi kwezizwe; ngizaphakanyiswa emhlabeni.”
“Refrain; and know surely that I am God, high over the nations, high over the world.”
