1 Dumisani uThixo. Dumisani uThixo emazulwini, mdumiseni eziqongweni ngaphezulu.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.

2 Mdumiseni zingilosi zakhe zonke, mdumiseni lonke mabutho asezulwini.

Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.

3 Mdumiseni, langa lenyanga, mdumiseni lonke zinkanyezi ezikhazimulayo.

Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.

4 Mdumiseni lina ziqongo zamazulu lani manzi ngaphezulu komkhathi.

Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

5 Konke kakudumise ibizo likaThixo ngoba yena watsho ilizwi kwadaleka.

Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 Wazibeka ezindaweni zazo okwanini lanini; wanika isahlulelo esingela kuguquka.

And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

7 Dumisani uThixo emhlabeni, lina zidalwa zasolwandle lezinziki zalo zonke,

Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

8 umbane lesiqhotho, ungqwaqwane lamayezi, umoya wesiphepho owenza intando yakhe,

Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:

9 lina zintaba lamaqaqa wonke, zihlahla zezithelo lemisedari yonke,

Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:

10 zinyamazana zeganga lenkomo zonke, zinanakazana lezinyoni eziphaphayo,

Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:

11 makhosi omhlaba lezizwe zonke, lina makhosana lababusi bonke emhlabeni,

Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:

12 majaha lezintombi, maxhegu labantwana.

Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:

13 Kabalidumise ibizo likaThixo, ngoba ibizo lakhe lodwa liphakeme; inkazimulo yakhe ingaphezulu komhlaba lamazulu.

Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.

14 Ubaphakamisele abantu bakhe uphondo, indumiso yabo bonke abathembekileyo bakhe, eka-Israyeli, abantu abasesifubeni sakhe. Dumisani uThixo.

For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.
