1 Ihubo lokudumisa. ElikaDavida. Ngizaphakamisa wena, Nkulunkulu wami oyiNkosi; ngizalidumisa ibizo lakho kuze kube phakade.
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Zonke insuku ngizakudumisa ngibabaze ibizo lakho kuze kube phakade.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Umkhulu uThixo njalo ufanele kakhulu ukudunyiswa; ubukhulu bakhe kakho ongabulinganisa.
Great is Yhwh, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Yileso laleso isizukulwane sizababaza imisebenzi yakho kwesinye; sizatshelana ngezenzo zakho ezinkulu.
One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 Sizakhuluma ngenkazimulo yakho ebenyezelayo ubukhosi bakho, lami ngizazidla ingqondo ngemisebenzi yakho emangalisayo.
I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6 Zizalandisa ngamandla emisebenzi yakho emangalisayo, lami ngizafakaza ngemisebenzi yakho emikhulu.
And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
7 Bazakwenza umkhosi ngokulunga kwakho okukhulu bahlabele ngentokozo ngokulunga kwakho.
They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8 UThixo ulomusa njalo ulesihawu, uyaphuza ukuthukuthela, kodwa uyanda ngothando.
Yhwh is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 UThixo ulungile kubo bonke; ulesihawu kukho konke akwenzayo.
Yhwh is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 Konke owakwenzayo kuzakudumisa, wena Thixo; abathembekileyo bakho bazakubabaza.
All thy works shall praise thee, O Yhwh; and thy saints shall bless thee.
11 Bazalandisa ngenkazimulo yombuso wakho bakhulume ngamandla akho,
They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
12 kuze kuthi bonke abantu bazi ngezenzo zakho ezinkulu lokubenyezela kwenkazimulo yombuso wakho.
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Umbuso wakho ungumbuso ongapheliyo, lobukhosi bakho bumi kuzozonke izizukulwane. UThixo uthembekile kuzozonke izithembiso zakhe njalo ulothando kukho konke akwenzayo.
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14 UThixo uyabaxhasa bonke labo abawayo abaphakamise bonke abacubayo.
Yhwh upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
15 Amehlo abo bonke akhangela kuwe, wena ubaphe ukudla kwabo ngesikhathi esifaneleyo.
The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Uyavula isandla sakho usuthise izidingo zakho konke okuphilayo.
Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 UThixo ulungile kuzozonke izindlela zakhe njalo uthembekile kukho konke akwenzayo.
Yhwh is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18 UThixo useduze kulabo abacela kuye, kubo bonke abacela kuye ngeqiniso.
Yhwh is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 Uyagcwalisa izidingo zalabo abamesabayo; uyezwa ukukhala kwabo abasindise.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 UThixo uyabalinda bonke abamthandayo, kodwa bonke ababi uzababhubhisa.
Yhwh preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 Umlomo wami uzakhuluma ngokudumisa uThixo. Akuthi izidalwa zonke zidumise ibizo lakhe elingcwele kuze kube nini lanini.
My mouth shall speak the praise of Yhwh: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
