2 lina eliqhuba inkonzo endlini kaThixo, emagumeni endlu kaNkulunkulu.
you who stand in Adonai’s house, in the courts of our God’s house.
3 Dumisani uThixo ngoba uThixo ulungile; hlabelani indumiso ebizweni lakhe ngoba lokho kuhle.

8 Wawalahla phansi amazibulo aseGibhithe, amazibulo abantu lawezinyamazana.

9 Wathumela izibonakaliso lezimangaliso zakhe phakathi kwakho, wena Gibhithe, phezu kukaFaro lezinceku zakhe zonke.

who struck many nations, and killed mighty kings,
11 uSihoni inkosi yama-Amori, u-Ogi inkosi yaseBhashani lawo wonke amakhosi aseKhenani
Sihon king of the Amorites [Descendants of Talkers], Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan [Humbled],

They have mouths, but they can’t speak. They have eyes, but they can’t see.
17 zilezindlebe, kodwa kazizwa, njalo kazilamphefumulo emilonyeni yazo.
They have ears, but they can’t hear; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

21 Udumo alube uThixo lusuka eZiyoni, kuye ohlala eJerusalema. Dumisani uThixo.
