Amahubo 111

1 Dumisani uThixo. Ngizambabaza uThixo ngenhliziyo yami yonke enkundleni yabaqotho lasemhlanganweni.

Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

2 Mikhulu imisebenzi kaThixo; isemicabangweni yabo bonke abathokoza ngayo.

The works of the LORD [are] great, sought out by all them that have pleasure in them.

3 Zilenkazimulo lobukhosi izenzo zakhe, lokulunga Kwakhe kumi kuze kube laphakade.

His work [is] honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Wenzile ukuthi izimanga zakhe zikhunjulwe; uThixo ulomusa lesihawu.

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD [is] gracious and full of compassion.

5 Uyabapha ukudla labo abamesabayo; uyasikhumbula isivumelwano Sakhe lanini.

He hath given food to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 Ubatshengisile abantu bakhe amandla emisebenzi yakhe, ngokubapha amazwe ezinye izizwe.

He hath shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 Imisebenzi yezandla zakhe ithembekile, ilungile; zonke iziqondiso zakhe ziyathembeka.

The works of his hands [are] verity and judgment; all his commandments [are] sure.

8 Zimi kaziguquki nini lanini, zenziwa ngeqiniso langobuqotho.

They stand fast for ever and ever, [and are] done in truth and uprightness.

9 Wathumela abantu bakhe insindiso; wasingcwelisa isivumelwano Sakhe okwanininini lingcwele liyesabeka ibizo lakhe.

He sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.

10 Ukumesaba uThixo kuyikuqala kwenhlakanipho bonke abalandela iziqondiso zakhe balokuzwisisa okuhle. Kungokwakhe ukudunyiswa kwaphakade.

The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
