Amanani 6
1 UThixo wathi kuMosi,
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
2 “Khuluma labako-Israyeli ubatshele lokhu: ‘Nxa owesilisa loba owesifazane efuna ukwenza isifungo esibalulekileyo, isifungo sokuzahlukanisela kuThixo ukuba abe ngumNaziri,
Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When a man or a woman doeth separate themselues to vowe a vowe of a Nazarite to separate himselfe vnto the Lord,
3 kumele angabe esanatha iwayini loba yikuphi okunathwayo okulemvubelo njalo akumelanga ukuthi anathe iviniga eyenziwe ngewayini loba okunathwayo okulemvubelo. Kanganathi umhluzi wezithelo zevini, njalo angadli izithelo zevini ezimanzi loba ezomileyo.
He shall abstaine from wine and strong drinke, and shall drinke no sowre wine nor sowre drinke, nor shall drinke any licour of grapes, neither shall eate fresh grapes nor dryed.
4 Nxa elokhu engumNaziri kangadli lutho oluvela esivinini kungakhathalekile ukuthi zintanga loba ngamakhasi esithelo.
As long as his abstinence endureth, shall hee eat nothing that is made of the wine of the vine, neither the kernels, nor the huske.
5 Ngasosonke isikhathi esemi esifungweni sokuzahlukanisela akumelanga kube lempuco ekhanda lakhe. Kumele abengcwele size sedlule isikhathi sakhe sokuzahlukanisela uThixo; kayekele inwele zakhe zikhule zibende.
While hee is separate by his vowe, the rasor shall not come vpon his head, vntill the dayes be out, in the which he separateth him selfe vnto the Lord, he shalbe holy, and shall let the lockes of the heare of his head growe.
6 Kusosonke isikhathi sakhe sokuzahlukanisela uThixo kangasondeli esidunjini.
During the time that he separateth himselfe vnto the Lord, he shall come at no dead body:
7 Loba kungaze kube kufe uyise loba unina loba umfowabo loba udadewabo, akumelanga azingcolise ngokomkhuba ngenxa yabo, ngoba uphawu lokuzahlukanisela uNkulunkulu lusekhanda lakhe.
Hee shall not make himselfe vncleane at the death of his father, or mother, brother, or sister: for the consecration of his God is vpon his head.
8 Ngasosonke isikhathi sokuzahlukanisela kwakhe ungokhethiweyo kuThixo.
All the dayes of his separation he shalbe holy to the Lord.
9 Nxa kungafa umuntu emehlweni akhe, ngakho besekungcolisa inwele zakhe asezinikele, kumele aphuce ikhanda ngosuku lokuhlanjululwa kwakhe, usuku lwesikhombisa.
And if any dye suddenly by him, or hee beware, then the head of his consecration shall be defiled, and he shall shaue his head in the day of his clensing: in the seuenth day he shall shaue it.
10 Ngakho ngosuku lwesificaminwembili kalethe kumphristi esangweni lethente lokuhlangana amajuba amabili loba inkwilimba ezincane ezimbili.
And in the eight day hee shall bring two turtles, or two yong pigeons to the Priest, at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
11 Umphristi uzanikela umnikelo wesono ngenye inyoni kuthi enye ibe ngumnikelo wokutshiswa ukumenzela indlela yokubuyisana ngoba enze isono ngoba lapho okulesidumbu khona. Ngalo lolosuku kumele angcwelise ikhanda lakhe.
Then the Priest shall prepare the one for a sinne offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and shall make an atonement for him, because he sinned by the dead: so shall he halowe his head the same day,
12 Kazinikele kuThixo okwesikhathi leso azahlukanisele sona njalo alethe izinyane lemvu elilomnyaka owodwa eliduna libe njengomnikelo wecala. Insuku ezadlulayo kazibalwa, ngoba ube ngongcolileyo ngesikhathi sokuzahlukanisela kwakhe.
And he shall consecrate vnto the Lord the dayes of his separation, and shall bring a lambe of a yeere olde for a trespasse offering, and the first dayes shalbe voide: for his consecration was defiled.
13 Lo ngumlayo womNaziri nxa isikhathi sakhe sokuzahlukanisela sesiphelile. Kumele alethwe esangweni lethente lokuhlangana.
This then is the lawe of the Nazarite: When the time of his consecration is out, he shall come to the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,
14 Kethule lapho umnikelo wakhe kuThixo: izinyane lemvu elilomnyaka owodwa eliduna elingelasici libe ngumnikelo wokutshiswa, izinyane lemvu elisikazi elilomnyaka owodwa elingelasici libe ngumnikelo wesono, inqama engelasici ibe ngumnikelo wobudlelwano,
And hee shall bring his offering vnto the Lord, an hee lambe of a yeere olde without blemish for a burnt offering, and a shee lambe of a yere olde without blemish for a sinne offring, and a ramme without blemish for peace offrings,
15 ndawonye leminikelo yamabele leyokunathwayo, kanye lesitsha sesinkwa esingelamvubelo, amakhekhe enziwe ngefulawa ecolekileyo ixutshwe ngamafutha, njalo lamaqebelengwane agcotshwe ngamafutha.
And a basket of vnleauened bread, of cakes of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and wafers of vnleauened bread anointed with oile, with their meate offring, and their drinke offrings:
16 Umphristi uzakwethula lokhu phambi kukaThixo enze umnikelo wesono lowokutshiswa.
The which the Priest shall bring before the Lord, and make his sinne offering and his burnt offering.
17 Umphristi uzakwethula isitsha esilesinkwa esingelamvubelo njalo enze umhlatshelo ngenqama kube ngumnikelo wobudlelwano kuThixo, ndawonye lomnikelo wakho wamabele lowokunathwayo.
He shall prepare also the ram for a peace offring vnto the Lord, with the basket of vnleauened bread, and the Priest shall make his meate offring, and his drinke offring.
18 Ngakho umNaziri uzaphucela inwele zakhe zokwahlukanisela esangweni lethente lokuhlangana. Uzaphosela inwele lezo emlilweni ongaphansi komnikelo wobudlelwano.
And the Nazarite shall shaue the head of his consecration at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall take the heare of the head of his consecration, and put it in the fire, which is vnder the peace offring.
19 Nxa umNaziri esephuce inwele zokuzahlukanisela kwakhe, umphristi uzabeka ezandleni zakhe umkhono wenqama ephekiweyo, kanye lekhekhe leqebelengwane esitsheni, kokubili kungela mvubelo.
Then the Priest shall take ye sodden shoulder of the ramme, and an vnleauened cake out of the basket, and a wafer vnleauened, and put them vpon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shauen his consecration.
20 Umphristi uzakuzunguza phambi kukaThixo njengomnikelo wokuzunguzwa; kungcwele njalo kungokomphristi, kuhlanganisela lesifuba esizunguziweyo kanye lomlenze owethuliweyo. Ngemva kwalokho, umNaziri usenganatha iwayini.
And the Priest shall shake them to and from before the Lord: this is an holy thing for the Priest besides the shaken breast, and besides the heaue shoulder: so afterwarde the Nazarite may drinke wine.
21 Lo ngumlayo womNaziri ofunga ngokunikela kuThixo kusiya ngokuzahlukanisela, kuyikwengeza kulokho ayabe ekwenelisile. Kagcwalise isifungo asenzileyo, ngokomlayo womNaziri.’”
This is the Lawe of the Nazarite, which he hath vowed, and of his offering vnto the Lord for his consecration, besides that that hee is able to bring: according to the vowe which he vowed, so shall he do after the lawe of his consecration.
22 UThixo wathi kuMosi,
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
23 “Tshela u-Aroni lamadodana akhe uthi, ‘Le yiyo indlela elizabusisa ngayo abako-Israyeli. Khulumani lithi kubo:
Speake vnto Aaron and to his sonnes, saying, Thus shall ye blesse the childre of Israel, and say vnto them,
24 “UThixo alibusise njalo aligcine;
The Lord blesse thee, and keepe thee,
25 UThixo kakhazimulise ubuso bakhe phezu kwenu njalo abe lomusa kini;
The Lord make his face shine vpon thee, and be merciful vnto thee,
26 UThixo kakhangelise ubuso bakhe kini njalo aliphe ukuthula.”’
The Lord lift vp his coutenance vpon thee, and giue thee peace.
27 Ngokunjalo bazabiza ibizo lami phezu kwabako-Israyeli, mina ngizababusisa.”
So they shall put my Name vpon the children of Israel, and I wil blesse them.
