1 UJuda, inceku kaJesu Khristu lomfowabo kaJakhobe, Kulabo ababiziweyo, abathandwa nguNkulunkulu uBaba belondolozwa nguJesu Khristu:
Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, to those who are called and sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
2 Isihawu, lokuthula kanye lothando kakube ngokwenu ngokwandileyo.
Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
3 Bangane abathandekayo, lanxa kade ngitshisekela kakhulu ukulilobela mayelana lensindiso esilayo, kodwa ngibone kufanele ukuthi ngilobele ukulikhuthaza ukuba lilwele ukholo lolu olwaphiwa abangcwele bakaNkulunkulu
Beloved, although I was quite eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
4 Ngoba abantu abathile abokulahlwa kwabo okwalotshwa ngakho endulo sebengene phakathi kwenu ngasese. Bangabantu abangamesabiyo uNkulunkulu abaguqulela umusa kaNkulunkulu ukuthi ubeyimvumo yokuganga bamphike loJesu Khristu onguye kuphela iNkosi yethu Yobukhosi.
For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have crept in unnoticed. They are ungodly men who pervert the grace of our God, turning it into a license for sensuality. By doing so, they deny God, who is our only Master, and also the Lord Jesus Christ.
5 Lanxa likwazi konke lokhu, ngithanda ukulikhumbuza ukuthi iNkosi yakhupha abantu bayo eGibhithe, kodwa muva yababhubhisa labo abangakholwanga.
Now I want to remind you, although you already know this, that after the Lord saved a people out of the land of Egypt, he subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
6 Lezingilosi ezingagcinanga izikhundla zazo zamandla, kodwa zadela ikhaya lazo, lezi wazigcina ebumnyameni, zibotshwe ngamaketane angaqamukiyo zilindele ukwahlulelwa ngoSuku olukhulu. (aïdios g126)
And the angels who did not keep within their proper domain, but left their own dwelling, he has kept under darkness in everlasting chains for the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Ngokunjalo, iSodoma leGomora lamadolobho aseduzane azinikela ekuxhwaleni kobufebe lokonakala. Ayisibonelo salabo abezwa isijeziso somlilo waphakade. (aiōnios g166)
Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in fornication and went after strange flesh in a manner similar to those angels, serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Ngokunjalo, ngamandla okuphupha kwabo lababantu abangalunganga bangcolisa imizimba yabo, baphike ubukhokheli, bachothoze lezidalwa zasezulwini.
In the same way these ungodly men, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile glorious beings.
9 Kodwa lengilosi enkulu uMikhayeli lapho ephikisana loSathane ngesidumbu sikaMosi kazange alokothe ukumthuka ngenhlamba, kodwa wathi, “INkosi kayikukhuze!”
But when Michael the archangel was contending with the devil and disputing about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a reviling judgment against him, but said, “May the Lord rebuke yoʋ!”
10 Kodwa abantu laba bakhuluma behlambaza lokho abangakuzwisisiyo; njalo lezozinto abazizwisisayo ngokwemvelo njengezinyamazana ezingacabangiyo, lezi yizo kanye izinto ezizababhubhisa.
Yet these men slander whatever they do not understand, and they are corrupted by what they, like irrational beasts, instinctively comprehend.
11 Maye kubo! Balandela indlela kaKhayini; baphuthuma inzuzo besona njengoBhalamu; babhujiswa emvukeleni kaKhora.
Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, they rushed for reward to the error of Balaam, and they perished in the rebellion of Korah.
12 Abantu laba bayisinengiso emadilini enu abantu abathetheneyo besidla lani bengelanhloni lakancane, abelusi abazitika ngokudla bona bodwa. Bangamayezi angelazulu, aphetshulwa ngumoya; izihlahla zasekwindla ezingelazithelo njalo ezisitshuniweyo, ezife kabili.
These men are hidden reefs at your love feasts, feeding themselves as they feast among you without fear. They are clouds without water, carried along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, pulled up by the roots.
13 Bangamagagasi olwandle alamandla, bebhubhudla ihlazo labo; izinkanyezi ezintulayo, ezilobumnyama obukhulu obugcinelwe zona kuze kube nininini. (aiōn g165)
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shameful deeds; wayward stars, for whom the thick gloom of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn g165)

Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones

to execute judgment against all and to convict all the ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds that they have done in an ungodly way, and to convict ungodly sinners of all the harsh words they have spoken against him.”
16 Abantu laba bangabakhononi labachothozi; balandela izinkanuko zabo ezimbi; bayazikhukhumeza, bancome abanye ngamanga ukuze bazitholele inzuzo.
These men are grumblers and complainers, walking according to their own lusts. They speak bombastic words with their mouths, admiring people for their own advantage.
17 Kodwa-ke, bangane abathandekayo, khumbulani okwatshiwo ngaphambilini ngabapostoli beNkosi yethu uJesu Khristu.
But you, beloved, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold,
18 Bathi kini, “Ngezikhathi zokucina kuzakuba labaklolodayo, belandela izinkanuko zabo zokungalungi.”
how they said to you, “In the end times there will be scoffers who walk according to their own ungodly lusts.”
19 Laba yibo abantu abalehlukanisayo, abalandela isazela semvelo nje bengelawo uMoya.
These people cause divisions; they are worldly and do not have the Spirit.
20 Kodwa lina, bangane abathandekayo, zakheni ekukholweni kwenu okungcwele kakhulu likhuleke kuMoya oNgcwele,
But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 lizigcine lisothandweni lukaNkulunkulu lisalindele isihawu seNkosi yethu uJesu Khristu ukuba ilingenise ekuphileni okulaphakade. (aiōnios g166)
must keep yourselves in the love of God as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Yibani lesihawu kulabo abathandabuzayo;
Have mercy on some, using discernment;
23 lenyule abanye emlilweni libasilise; kwabanye bonakalisani isihawu, kuhlangene lokwesaba, lizonde lezigqoko ezingcoliswe yimizimba exhwalileyo.
and others save with fear by snatching them out of the fire, hating even the garment that is stained by the flesh.
24 Kuye olamandla okuligcina ukuba lingawi, lokulibeka phambi kwenkazimulo yobukhona bakhe kungelasici njalo ngentokozo enkulu,
Now to him who is able to keep them from falling and to make them stand unblemished in the presence of his glory with great joy,
25 kuye yedwa uNkulunkulu onguMsindisi wethu, kakube lodumo, ubukhosi kanye lamandla ngoJesu Khristu iNkosi yethu, mandulo kwezikhathi zonke, khathesi kanye lanininini! Ameni. (aiōn g165)
to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, power and authority, both now and forevermore. Amen. (aiōn g165)
