UJeremiya 27
1 Ekuqaleni kokubusa kukaZedekhiya indodana kaJosiya inkosi yakoJuda, ilizwi leli lafika kuJeremiya livela kuThixo lisithi:
In [the] beginning of [the] reign of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah it came the word this to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
2 UThixo wathi kimi, “Yenza ijogwe ngemichilo langemigoqo uligaxe entanyeni yakho.
Thus he said Yahweh to me make for yourself fetters and yoke-bars and you will put them on neck your.
3 Ubusuthumela ilizwi enkosini yase-Edomi, leyaseMowabi, leyase-Amoni, eyeThire kanye leyaseSidoni ngezithunywa ezize eJerusalema kuZedekhiya inkosi yakoJuda.
And you will send them to [the] king of Edom and to [the] king of Moab and to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and to [the] king of Tyre and to [the] king of Sidon by [the] hand of messengers who have come Jerusalem to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah.
4 Zinike ilizwi eliya emakhosini azo uthi, ‘UThixo uSomandla, uNkulunkulu ka-Israyeli uthi: Tshelani amakhosi enu lokhu ukuthi:
And you will command them to masters their saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel thus you will say to masters your.
5 Ngamandla ami amakhulu langengalo yami eyeluliweyo ngenza umhlaba labantu bawo kanye lezinyamazana ezikuwo, njalo ngiwunika loba ngubani ngokuthanda kwami.
I I made the earth humankind and the animal[s] which [are] on [the] surface of the earth by power my great and by arm my outstretched and I give it to [those] whom it is pleasing in view my.
6 Khathesi wonke amazwe enu ngizawanikela encekwini yami uNebhukhadineza inkosi yaseBhabhiloni, ngizakwenza lezinyamazana zeganga zibe ngaphansi kwakhe.
And now I I give all the lands these in [the] hand of Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon servant my and also [the] animal[s] of the field I give to him to serve him.
7 Izizwe zonke zizamsebenzela yena lamadodana akhe kanye labazukulu bakhe kuze kufike isikhathi selizwe lakhe lapho azanqotshwa khona yizizwe ezinengi lamakhosi amakhulu.
And they will serve him all the nations and son his and [the] son of son his until comes [the] time of land his also he and they will work by him nations many and kings great.
8 Kodwa, loba yisiphi isizwe loba umbuso ongasebenzeli uNebhukhadineza inkosi yaseBhabhiloni loba ukhothamisele intamo yawo ejogeni lakhe, ngizasijezisa lesosizwe ngenkemba, ngendlala langesifo, ngize ngiwuchithe ngesandla sakhe, kutsho uThixo.
And it will be the nation and the kingdom which not they will serve him Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon and which not it will put neck its in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon with the sword and with famine and with pestilence I will visit [judgment] on the nation that [the] utterance of Yahweh until have consumed I them by hand his.
9 Ngakho lingabalaleli abaphrofethi benu, izanuse zenu, abachazi bamaphupho, izangoma zenu loba izinyanga zenu ezithi kini, kaliyikuyisebenzela inkosi yaseBhabhiloni.’
And you may not you listen to prophets your and to diviners your and to dreams your and to soothsayers your and to sorcerers your who they [are] saying to you saying not you will serve [the] king of Babylon.
10 Baphrofetha amanga kini azasebenza ukulisusa nje kuphela emazweni enu; ngizalixotsha njalo lizabhubha.
For falsehood they [are] prophesying to you so as to remove far away you from on land your and I will drive out you and you will perish.
11 Kodwa isizwe esizabeka intamo yaso ngaphansi kwejogwe lenkosi yaseBhabhiloni siyisebenzele, lesosizwe ngizasiyekela siselizweni laso ukuba sililime njalo sihlale kulo, kutsho uThixo.”
And the nation which it will bring neck its in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon and it will serve him and I will let remain it on land its [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will work it and it will dwell in it.
12 UZedekhiya inkosi yakoJuda ngamnika ilizwi elinjalo; Ngathi, “Beka intamo yakho ngaphansi kwejogwe lenkosi yaseBhabhiloni; isebenzele yona kanye labantu bayo, uzaphila.
And to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah I spoke according to all the words these saying bring necks your in [the] yoke of [the] king of Babylon and serve him and people his and live.
13 Kungani wena labantu bakho lizabulawa ngenkemba, indlala lesifo uThixo ayesongele ngakho isizwe esingayikusebenzela inkosi yaseBhabhiloni na?
Why? will you die you and people your by the sword by famine and by pestilence just as he has spoken Yahweh to the nation which not it will serve [the] king of Babylon.
14 Lingawalaleli amazwi abaphrofethi abathi kini, ‘Kaliyikuyisebenzela inkosi yaseBhabhiloni,’ ngoba baphrofetha amanga kini.
And may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who say to you saying not you will serve [the] king of Babylon for falsehood they [are] prophesying to you.
15 ‘Angibathumanga,’ kutsho uThixo. ‘Baphrofetha amanga ngebizo lami. Ngakho ngizalixotsha, libhubhe lina kanye labaphrofethi abaphrofetha kini.’”
For not I sent them [the] utterance of Yahweh and they [are] prophesying in name my to falsehood so as to drive out I you and you will perish you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.
16 Ngasengisithi kubaphristi lakubo bonke abantu laba, “UThixo uthi: Lingabalaleli abaphrofethi abathi, ‘Masinyane nje izitsha zasendlini kaThixo zizabuyiswa zivela eBhabhiloni.’ Baphrofetha amanga kini.
And to the priests and to all the people this I spoke saying thus he says Yahweh may not you listen to [the] words of prophets your who are prophesying to you saying there! [the] articles of [the] house of Yahweh [are] about to be brought back from Babylon now quickly for falsehood they [are] prophesying to you.
17 Lingabalaleli. Isebenzeleni inkosi yaseBhabhiloni, lizaphila. Kungani idolobho leli kumele libe lunxiwa na?
May not you listen to them serve [the] king of Babylon and live why? will it become the city this a ruin.
18 Nxa bengabaphrofethi njalo belelizwi likaThixo, kabamncenge uThixo uSomandla ukuba izitsha eziseleyo endlini kaThixo lasesigodlweni senkosi yakoJuda kanye laseJerusalema zingasiwa eBhabhiloni.
And if [are] prophets they and if there [is] [the] word of Yahweh with them let them entreat please Yahweh of hosts to not go the articles - which remain in [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of [the] king of Judah and in Jerusalem Babylon towards.
19 Ngoba lokhu yikho okutshiwo nguThixo uSomandla mayelana lensika, loLwandle, lokokumisa okuphakamisekayo kanye lezinye izitsha eziseleyo kulelidolobho,
For thus he says Yahweh of hosts concerning the pillars and on the sea and on the stands and on [the] remainder of the articles which remain in the city this.
20 uNebhukhadineza inkosi yaseBhabhiloni engahambanga layo ekuthatheni kwakhe uJehoyakhini indodana kaJehoyakhimi inkosi yakoJuda emsusa eJerusalema emusa ekuthunjweni eBhabhiloni, kanye lezikhulu zonke zakoJuda lezeJerusalema,
Which not he took them Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon when took into exile he (Jeconiah *Q(k)*) [the] son of Jehoiakim [the] king of Judah from Jerusalem Babylon towards and all [the] nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.
21 yebo, lokhu yikho okutshiwo nguThixo uSomandla, uNkulunkulu ka-Israyeli, mayelana lezinto eziseleyo endlini kaThixo lasesigodlweni senkosi yakoJuda kanye laseJerusalema ukuthi:
For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel on the articles which remain [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of [the] king of Judah and Jerusalem.
22 ‘Zizasiwa eBhabhiloni lapho ezizakuba khona kuze kufike usuku engizazilanda ngalo,’ kutsho uThixo. ‘Lapho-ke ngizazibuyisela emuva kule indawo.’”
Babylon towards they will be taken and there they will remain until [the] day give attention to I them [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will bring up them and I will bring back them to the place this.
