UHezekheli 21
1 Ilizwi likaThixo lafika kimi lisithi:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 “Ndodana yomuntu, khangelisa ubuso bakho eJerusalema utshumayele okubi ngendawo engcwele. Phrofetha okubi ngelizwe lako-Israyeli
O son of humankind set face your against Jerusalem and prophesy against sanctuaries and prophesy against [the] land of Israel.
3 uthi kulo: ‘Nanku okutshiwo nguThixo Wobukhosi: Ngixabane lani. Ngizahwatsha inkemba yami emxhakeni wayo ngisuse kuwe abalungileyo lababi.
And you will say to [the] land of Israel thus he says Yahweh here I [am] against you and I will bring out sword my from sheath its and I will cut off from you [the] righteous and [the] wicked.
4 Ngoba ngizasusa abalungileyo lababi, inkemba yami izahwatshelwa ukumelana labo bonke abavela eningizimu kanye lasenyakatho.
Because that I have cut off from you [the] righteous and [the] wicked therefore it will go forth sword my from sheath its against all flesh from [the] south [the] north.
5 Lapho-ke abantu bonke bazakwazi ukuthi mina nginguThixo sengihwatshe inkemba yami emxhakeni wayo, kayiyikubuyela futhi.’
And they will know all flesh that I Yahweh I have brought out sword my from sheath its not it will go back again.
6 Ngakho-ke bubula ndodana yomuntu! Bubula phambi kwabo ngenhliziyo edabukileyo kanye losizi olukhulu.
And you O son of humankind groan with breaking of loins and with bitterness you will groan to eyes their.
7 Nxa bekubuza besithi, ‘Kungani na ububula?’ uzakuthi, ‘Ngenxa yezindaba ezifikayo. Zonke inhliziyo zizenyela lezandla zonke zibe buthakathaka, imimoya yonke izaphela amandla lamadolo wonke abe buthakathaka njengamanzi.’ Kuyeza! Ngempela kuzakwenzakala, kutsho uThixo Wobukhosi.”
And it will be that they will say to you concerning what? [are] you groaning and you will say because of a report that [it is] coming and it will melt every heart and they will hang limp every pair of hands and it will grow faint every spirit and all knees they will go water there! [it is] coming and it will happen [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
9 “Ndodana yomuntu, phrofetha uthi, ‘Nanku okutshiwo nguThixo: Umhedla, umhedla, ilolwe njalo yalolongwa,
O son of humankind prophesy and you will say thus he says [the] Lord say a sword a sword it has been sharpened and also [is] polished.
10 Ilolelwe ukubulala, ilolongelwe ukuphazima njengombane. Kambe sizathokoza na ngentonga yobukhosi yendodana yami uJuda? Inkemba iyazeyisa zonke izigodo ezinjalo.
So as to slaughter a slaughter it has been sharpened so as be for it lightning it has been polished or we will rejoice [the] scepter of son my [is] rejecting every tree.
11 Inkemba ibekelwe ukuba ilolongwe, ukuba iphathwe ngesandla; iyalolwa ilolongwe, yenziwe ilungele isandla sombulali.
And someone gave it to polish [it] to grasp [it] in the palm it it has been sharpened a sword and it it has been polished to put it in [the] hand of [one who] slays.
12 Hlaba umkhosi ulile, ndodana yomuntu, ngoba imelane labantu bami; imelane lamakhosana wonke ako-Israyeli. Aphoselwa kuyo inkemba ndawonye labantu bami. Ngakho-ke bamba isihlathi sakho.
Cry out and wail O son of humankind for it it has come on people my it [is] on all [the] princes of Israel thrown to [the] sword they have been with people my therefore slap a thigh.
13 Ukuhlolwa kuyeza impela. Njalo kuzakuba njani nxa intonga kaJuda yobukhosi, edelelwa yinkemba, ingasaqhubeki? kutsho uThixo Wobukhosi.’
For it has been tested and what? if also a scepter rejecting not it will be [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
14 Ngakho-ke, ndodana yomuntu, phrofetha uqakeze izandla zakho. Inkemba kayigadle kabili, lanxa kungaba kathathu. Yinkemba yokubulala, inkemba yokubulala kakhulu, ebahanqayo ivela macele wonke.
And you O son of humankind prophesy and strike palm to palm so it may be doubled a sword a third a sword of [those] slain it [is] a sword of [the] slain great which surrounds them.
15 Ukuze inhliziyo zibe buthakathaka labawileyo babebanengi, sengibeke inkemba yokubulala kuwo wonke amasango abo. Bheka! Yenzelwe ukuphazima njengombane, iphathelwe ukubulala.
So as - to melt a heart and [may be] many the stumblings at all gates their I have set a slaughter of a sword alas! made for lightning wrapped for slaughtering.
16 Wena nkemba, geca kwesokudla, uphinde kwesenxele, loba kungaphi ubukhali bakho obuphendukela khona.
Be sharp go to [the] right cause to set go to [the] left where? [is] face your set.
17 Lami futhi ngizaqakeza izandla zami, njalo ulaka lwami luzadeda. Mina Thixo sengikhulumile.”
And also I I will strike palm my to palm my and I will give rest to rage my I Yahweh I have spoken.

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
19 “Ndodana yomuntu, canda imigwaqo emibili yenkemba yenkosi yaseBhabhiloni ukuba ihambe kuyo, yomibili iqalise elizweni linye. Yenza insika yesiqondiso lapho okuphambuka khona umgwaqo oya edolobheni.
And you O son of humankind make for yourself - two roads to come [the] sword of [the] king of Babylon from a land one they will go out both of them and a monument make at [the] beginning of [the] road of a city make [it].
20 Canda omunye umgwaqo wenkemba ukuba izemelana leRabha yama-Amoni, lomunye ukumelana loJuda kanye leJerusalema elivikelweyo.
A road you will make to come a sword Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon and Judah in Jerusalem fortified.
21 Ngoba inkosi yaseBhabhiloni izakuma lapho imigwaqo eyehlukana khona, lapho okuhlangana khona imigwaqo emibili, ukuba ifune ibika: Izaphosa inkatho ngemitshoko, izabuza izithombe zayo, izahlola isibindi.
For he has stopped [the] king of Babylon to [the] mother of the road at [the] beginning of [the] two the roads to divine divination he has shaken the arrows he has enquired by the teraphim he has looked at the liver.
22 Esandleni sayo sokudla kuzakuza inkatho yeJerusalema, lapho ezamisa khona imigqala yokudiliza, lokunika umlayo wokubulala, lokuhlaba umkhosi wempi, lokumisa imigqala yokudiliza amasango, lokwakha amadundulu kanye lokumisa izindawo zokuvimbezela.
In right [hand] his it was - the divination Jerusalem to set up battering-rams to open a mouth for shattering to raise a sound with a war cry to set up battering-rams on [the] gates to pour out a mound to build a siege-wall.
23 Kuzakhanya angathi libika amanga kulabo asebefungele ukuthobeka kuyo, kodwa yona izabakhumbuza icala labo ibathumbe.
And it will be to them (as divines *Q(k)*) falsehood in view their oaths of oaths [belong] to them and it [will] bring to remembrance iniquity to be seized.
24 Ngakho nanku okutshiwo nguThixo Wobukhosi: ‘Njengoba lina bantu lingikhumbuze icala lenu ngokuhlamuka kwenu okusobala, libonakalisa izono zenu kukho konke elikwenzayo njengoba lenze lokhu, lizathunjwa.
Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh because brought to remembrance you iniquity your because were uncovered transgressions your to be seen sins your in all practices your because have been remembered you by the hand you will be seized.
25 Wena nkosana yako-Israyeli exhwalileyo njalo embi, usuku lwakho selufikile, lesikhathi sokujeziswa kwakho sesifike emaphethelweni,
And you O profane [one] wicked prince of Israel whom it has come day his at a time of punishment of [the] end.
26 nanku okutshiwo nguThixo Wobukhosi: Khupha iqhiye, yethula umqhele. Akuyikuba njengoba kwakunjalo: Abaphansi bazaphakanyiswa kuthi abaphakemeyo behliselwe phansi.
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh to remove the turban and to lift off the crown this not this the lowly exalt and the exalted to bring low.
27 Unxiwa! Unxiwa! Ngizawenza ube lunxiwa! Kawuyikubuyiselwa kuze kufike lowo ongowakhe ngokuqondileyo, onguye engizamnika wona.’
A ruin a ruin a ruin I will make it also this not it will be until comes [the one] whom [belongs] to him the judgment and I will give it.
28 Njalo wena, ndodana yomuntu, phrofetha uthi, ‘Nanku okutshiwo nguThixo Wobukhosi ngama-Amoni kanye lezithuko zawo: Inkemba, inkemba, ihwatshelwe ukubulala, ilolongelwe ukuqothula lokuphazima njengombane!
And you O son of humankind prophesy and you will say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh concerning [the] people of Ammon and concerning reproach their and you will say a sword a sword [is] drawn for slaughter [is] polished to contain on account of lightning.
29 Langaphezu kwemibono yamanga ngawe, lokuhlahlula okungamanga ngawe, izabekwa entanyeni zababi okumele babulawe, abasuku lwabo selufikile, abasikhathi sokujeziswa kwabo sesifike emaphethelweni aso.
When see for you falsehood when divine for you falsehood to give you to [the] necks of [those] profaned of wicked [people] whom it has come day their at a time of punishment of [the] end.
30 Buyisela inkemba emxhakeni wayo. Endaweni owadalelwa kuyo, elizweni labokhokho bakho, ngizakwahlulela khona.
Put back into sheath its in [the] place where you were created in [the] land of origins your I will judge you.
31 Ngizathululela ulaka lwami phezu kwakho ngiphefumlele lentukuthelo yami etshisayo kuwe; ngizakunikela ebantwini abalesihluku, abantu abakwaziyo ukuqothula.
And I will pour out on you indignation my with [the] fire of wrath my I will blow on you and I will give you in [the] hand of men brutish craftsmen of destruction.
32 Uzakuba zinkuni zomlilo, igazi lakho lizachithelwa elizweni lakini, kawuyikukhunjulwa futhi; ngoba mina Thixo sengikhulumile.’”
For the fire you will become fuel blood your it will be in [the] midst of the land not you will be remembered for I Yahweh I have spoken.
