UDutheronomi 34

1 UMosi wasekhwela eNtabeni yaseNebho evelela emagcekeni eMowabi esiya phezu kwePhisiga, ngaphetsheya malungana leJerikho. Kukhonale uThixo amtshengisa khona ilizwe lonke, kusukela eGiliyadi kusiya kwelikaDani,

And he went up Moses from [the] desert plains of Moab to [the] mountain of Nebo [the] top of Pisgah which [is] on [the] face of Jericho and he showed him Yahweh all the land Gilead to Dan.

2 lonke elikaNafithali, ilizwe lika-Efrayimi lelikaManase, lonke ilizwe likaJuda kusiyafika olwandle olungentshonalanga,

And all Naphtali and [the] land of Ephraim and Manasseh and all [the] land of Judah to the sea western.

3 iNegebi kanye lomhlaba wonke osuka eSigodini seJerikho, iDolobho laMalala, kusiya kude khonale eZowari.

And the Negev and the district in [the] valley of Jericho [the] city of the palm trees to Zoar.

4 Ngakho uThixo wathi kuye, “Leli yilo ilizwe engathembisa ngesifungo u-Abhrahama, u-Isaka loJakhobe, lapho engathi khona, ‘Ngizalinika izizukulwane zenu.’ Ngikuvumele ukuthi ulibone ngawakho amehlo, kodwa awusoze uchaphele kulo.”

And he said Yahweh to him this [is] the land which I swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob saying to offspring your I will give it I have let see [it] you with own eyes your and there towards not you will pass over.

5 Ngakho uMosi inceku kaThixo wafela khonapho kwelamaMowabi, njengokwakutshiwo nguThixo.

And he died there Moses [the] servant of Yahweh in [the] land of Moab on [the] mouth of Yahweh.

6 Wamngcwaba eMowabi, esigodini esikhangelene leBhethi-Pheyori, kodwa kuze kube lamuhla lokhu kakho loyedwa olaziyo ingcwaba lakhe.

And he buried him in the valley in [the] land of Moab opposite to Beth Peor and not he knows anyone burial place his until the day this.

7 UMosi wayeseleminyaka elikhulu lamatshumi amabili ekufeni kwakhe, ikanti amehlo akhe ayesabona kuhle njalo engakaphelelwa ngamandla.

And Moses [was] a son of one hundred and twenty year[s] when dying he not it had grown dim eye his and not it had fled vigor his.

8 Abako-Israyeli bamlilela uMosi emagcekeni aseMowabi okwensuku ezingamatshumi amathathu, kwaze kwedlula insuku zokukhala lokulila.

And they wept for [the] people of Israel Moses in [the] desert plains of Moab thirty day[s] and they were completed [the] days of [the] weeping of [the] mourning of Moses.

9 UJoshuwa indodana kaNuni wayegcwele umoya wokuhlakanipha ngoba uMosi wayembeke izandla. Ngakho abako-Israyeli bamlalela njalo benza lokho uThixo ayekulaye uMosi.

And Joshua [the] son of Nun he was full a spirit of wisdom for he had laid Moses hands his on him and they listened to him [the] people of Israel and they did just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.

10 Kusukela lapho, kakukabi lomunye njalo umphrofethi ko-Israyeli onjengoMosi, owayesaziwa nguThixo ubuso ngobuso,

And not he has arisen a prophet again in Israel like Moses whom he knew him Yahweh face to face.

11 owenza zonke lezozimanga lezibonakaliso ayethunywe nguThixo ukuba ayezenza eGibhithe, kuFaro lakuzo zonke izikhulu zakhe lakulo lonke ilizwe lakhe.

To all the signs and the wonders which he sent him Yahweh to do in [the] land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all servants his and to all land his.

12 Ngoba kakho oyake atshengisele amandla amakhulu kangako loba ukwenza izenzo ezesabekayo uMosi azenzayo emehlweni abo bonke abako-Israyeli.

And to all the hand mighty and to all the terror great which he did Moses to [the] eyes of all Israel.
