1 Okokucina bazalwane, salifundisa ukuba liphile njani ukuze limthokozise uNkulunkulu njengoba impela liphila. Siyalicela njalo silincenga ngeNkosi uJesu ukuba lokhu likwenze kokuphela.
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Master Yahushua, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please YHWH, so ye would abound more and more.
2 Liyayazi imilayo esalinika yona ngokulaya kweNkosi uJesu.
For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Master Yahushua.
3 Kuyintando kaNkulunkulu ukuba libengcwele: ukuba lixwaye ukuhlobonga;
For this is the will of YHWH, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 ukuba omunye lomunye wenu afunde ukuthiba umzimba wakhe ngendlela engcwele lehloniphekayo
That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 hatshi ngomfutho wenkanuko njengabezizweni abangamaziyo uNkulunkulu.
Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not YHWH:
6 Njalo kulokhu akukho okumele onele umzalwane wakhe kumbe amzuzele khonapho ekuthini ngumzalwane. INkosi izabajezisa bonke abenza izono ezinje njengoba sesavela salitshela njalo salixwayisa ngazo.
That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that YHWH is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
7 Ngoba uNkulunkulu kasibizelanga ukuba sibe ngabangcolileyo kodwa ukuba siphile impilo engcwele.
For YHWH hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
8 Ngakho-ke, lowo owalayo umlayo lo kalimuntu kodwa uNkulunkulu, yena olinika uMoya wakhe oNgcwele.
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but YHWH, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
9 Mayelana lothando lobuzalwane, akudingeki ukuba sililobele ngoba lina uqobo lafundiswa nguNkulunkulu ukuba lithandane.
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of YHWH to love one another.
10 Njalo ngempela, liyabathanda abazalwane bonke kulolonke elaseMasedoniya. Kodwa siyalincenga bazalwane ukuthi lenzenjalo kokuphela.
And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
11 Akube yisifiso senu ukuphila impilo yokuthula lokukhathalela umsebenzi wenu kanye lokusebenza ngezandla zenu njengoba salitshela
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 ukuze ukuphila kwenu kwansukuzonke kubukwe ngabangaphandle njalo lingathembeli komunye umuntu.
That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
13 Bazalwane, kasifuni ukuba libe ngabangaziyo ngalabo abalalayo loba lidabuke njengabanye abantu abangelalo ithemba.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 Siyakholwa ukuthi uJesu wafa wabuya wavuka njalo ngalokho siyakholwa ukuthi uNkulunkulu uzabavusa kanye loJesu labo asebelele kuye.
For if we believe that Yahushua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yahushua will Elohim bring with him.
15 Ngelizwi leNkosi siyalitshela ukuthi thina esisaphila, esasalayo iNkosi ize ifike, kasiyikubaqalela impela labo asebelele.
For this we say unto you by the word of YHWH, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Master shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 Ngoba iNkosi uqobo izakwehla ivela ezulwini ngelizwi elikhulu, ngelizwi lengilosi enkulu langokumemeza kwecilongo likaNkulunkulu, kuthi abafileyo kuKhristu bavuke kuqala.
For Yahushua himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YHWH: and the dead in the Messiah shall rise first:
17 Emva kwalokho, thina esisaphila njalo sisele sizahlwithwa kanye labo emayezini ukuba sihlangabeze iNkosi emoyeni. Ngakho sizahlala leNkosi kuze kube nininini.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Master.
18 Ngakho-ke, khuthazanani ngala amazwi.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
