And, Benjamin, begat Bela his firstborn, —Ashbel, the second, and Aharah, the third, —
2 loNoha eyesine loRafa indodana yesihlanu.
Nohah, the fourth, and Rapha, the fifth.
3 Amadodana kaBhela ayeyila: u-Adari, uGera, u-Abhihudi,
And Bela had sons—Addar, and Gera, and Abihud, —
4 u-Abhishuwa, uNamani, u-Ahowa,
and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah, —

and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Laba ngabosendo luka-Ehudi, ababezinhloko zezindlu zalabo ababehlala eGebha abaxotshelwa eManahathi:

Then begat he, of Hodesh his wife, —Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam;
10 loJewuzi, loSakhiya kanye loMirima. Yiwo amadodana akhe, ayeyizinhloko zezindlu zawo.
and Jeuz, and Sachia, and Mirmah, —these, were his sons, ancestral chiefs.
11 KuHushimi wazala u-Abhithubi lo-Eliphali.
And, of Hushim, he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Amadodana ka-Eliphali ayeyila: u-Ebheri, uMishami, uShemedi (nguye owakha i-Ono leLodi lemizana eseduzane layo),
And, the sons of Elpaal, Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, —he, built Ono, and Lod, and the villages thereof.
13 kanye loBheriya loShema, bona bezinhloko zezindlu zalabo ababehlala e-Ayijaloni abayibo njalo abaxotsha ababehlala eGathi.
And, as for Beriah and Shema, they, were ancestral chiefs to the inhabitants of Aijalon, —they, put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
14 U-Ahiyo, uShashaki, uJeremothi,
and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth, —
15 uZebhadiya, u-Aradi, u-Ederi,
and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder, —
16 uMikhayeli, u-Ishipha kanye loJoha bengamadodana kaBheriya.
and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, sons of Beriah, —
17 UZebhadiya, uMeshulami, uHizikhi, uHebheri,
and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber, —
18 u-Ishimerayi, u-Iziliya, loJobhabhi kungamadodana ka-Eliphali.
and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal, —
19 UJakhimi, uZikhiri, uZabhidi,
and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi—

28 Bonke laba babezinhloko zezindlu, izinduna kusiya ngoluhlu losendo lwabo, njalo babehlala eJerusalema.
these, were ancestral chiefs to their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem;
29 UJeyiyeli uyise kaGibhiyoni wayehlala eGibhiyoni. Ibizo lomkakhe lalinguMahakha,
And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon [Jeiel], the name of whose wife, was Maacah, —

So then, Ner, begat Kish, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Indodana kaJonathani: kwakunguMeri-Bhali yena enguyise kaMikha.
And, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah.
35 Amadodana kaMikha ayeyila: uPhithoni, uMeleki, uThareya kanye lo-Ahazi.
And, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 U-Ahazi wayenguyise kaJehoyada, uJehoyada enguyise ka-Alemethi, lo-Azimavethi loZimri, njalo uZimri enguyise kaMoza.
And, Ahaz, begat Jehoaddah, and, Jehoaddah, begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and, Zimri, begat Moza;
37 UMoza wayenguyise kaBhineya, loRafa eyindodana yakhe, lo-Eleyasa indodana yakhe kanye lo-Azeli indodana yakhe.
and, Moza, begat Binea, —Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 U-Azeli wayelamadodana ayisithupha, amabizo awo eyila: u-Azirikhamu, loBhokheru, lo-Ishumayeli, loSheyariya, lo-Obhadaya kanye loHanani. Wonke la ayengamadodana ka-Azeli.
And, Azel, had six sons, and, these, were their names—Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obediah, and Hanan and Asah, —all these, were sons of Azel.
39 Amadodana omfowabo u-Eshekhi ayeyila: u-Ulamu izibulo lakhe, uJewushi indodana yesibili kanye lo-Elifelethi eyesithathu.
And, the sons of Eshek his brother, were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Amadodana ka-Ulamu ayengamaqhawe alezibindi ayezintshantshu zemitshoko. Babelamadodana amanengi lamadodana amadodana abo, babelikhulu elilamatshumi amahlanu sebendawonye. Bonke laba babeyinzalo kaBhenjamini.
And the sons of Ulam became men that were heroes of valour, archers, with many sons, and sons’ sons, a hundred and fifty. All these, were of the sons of Benjamin.
