1 Nanka amadodana kaDavida awazala eHebhroni: Izibulo lakhe lalingu-Amnoni indodana ka-Ahinowama owaseJezerili; owesibili, uDanyeli indodana ka-Abhigeli waseKhameli;
And these were the sons of David, who were born unto him in Hebron: The first-born, Amnon, of Achino'am the Jizre'elitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigayil the Carmelitess;
2 owesithathu, ngu-Abhisalomu indodana kaMahakha indodakazi kaThalimayi inkosi yaseGeshuri; owesine, u-Adonija indodana kaHagithi;
The third, Abshalom the son of Ma'achah the daughter of Thalmai the king of Geshur; the fourth, Adoniyah the son of Chaggith;
3 owesihlanu, uShefathiya indodana ka-Abhithali; owesithupha, u-Ithireyamu amzuza ku-Egila, umkakhe.
The fifth, Shephatyah of Abital; the sixth, Yithre'am of 'Eglah his wife.
4 Abayisithupha laba uDavida wabazalela eHebhroni, lapho abusa khona okweminyaka eyisikhombisa lezinyanga eziyisithupha. UDavida wabusa eJerusalema okweminyaka engamatshumi amathathu lemithathu,
Six were born unto him in Hebron: and he reigned there seven years and six months; and thirty and three years he reigned in Jerusalem.
5 njalo la yiwo amadodana awazalela khona: uShamuwa, uShobabi, uNathani loSolomoni. Amadodana amane la wawazala loBhathishebha indodakazi ka-Amiyeli.
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shim'a! and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua' the daughter of 'Ammiel;

And Yibchar, and Elishama', and Eliphelet,

8 u-Elishama, u-Eliyada kanye lo-Elifelethi, beyisificamunwemunye bonke.
And Elishama', and Elyada', and Eliphelet, nine.
9 Bonke laba babengamadodana kaDavida, ngaphandle kwamadodana akhe awazala labafazi bakhe beceleni. Udadewabo wamadodana la wayenguThamari.
[These were] all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Thamar their sister.
10 Indodana kaSolomoni kwakunguRehobhowami, indodana yakhe kungu-Abhija, indodana yakhe kungu-Asa, indodana yakhe kunguJehoshafathi,
And Solomon's son was Rehobo'am. Abiyah his son, Assa his son, Jehoshaphat his son.
11 indodana yakhe kunguJehoramu, indodana yakhe kungu-Ahaziya, indodana yakhe kunguJowashi,
Joram his son, Achazyahu his son, Joash his son,
12 indodana yakhe kungu-Amaziya, indodana yakhe kungu-Azariya, indodana yakhe kunguJothamu,
Amazyahu his son, 'Azaryah his son, Jotham his son,
13 indodana yakhe kungu-Ahazi, indodana yakhe kunguHezekhiya, indodana yakhe kunguManase,
Achaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Menasseh his son,
14 indodana yakhe kungu-Amoni, indodana yakhe kunguJosiya.
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 Amadodana kaJosiya yila: nguJohanani izibulo, uJehoyakhimi indodana yesibili, uZedekhiya eyesithathu, uShalumi eyesine.
And the sons of Josiah were, the first-born Jochanan, the second Jehoyakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 Abasala behlala esikhundleni sikaJehoyakhimi yilaba: nguJekhoniya indodana yakhe loZedekhiya.

And the sons of Jechonyah: Assir, Shealthiel his son,
18 uMalikhiramu, loPhedaya, loShenazari, loJekhamiya, loHoshama, kanye loNedabhiya.
And Malkiram, and Pedayah, and Shenazzar, Jekamyah, Hoshama', and Nedabyah.
19 Amadodana kaPhedaya yila: nguZerubhabheli loShimeyi. Amadodana kaZerubhabheli yila: nguMeshulami loHananiya. UShelomithi engudadewabo.
And the sons of Pedayah were, Zerubbabel, and Shim'i: and the sons of Zerubbabel were, Meshullam, and Chananyah, and Shelomith their sister;
20 Babekhona njalo abanye abahlanu: uHashubha, u-Oheli, uBherekhiya, uHasadiya, loJushabi-Hesedi.
And Chashubah, and Ohel, and Berechyah, and Chassadyah, Jushab-chessed, five.
21 Abosendo lukaHananiya yilaba: nguPhelathiya loJeshaya, kanye lamadodana kaRefaya, ka-Anani, ka-Obhadaya kanye lokaShekhaniya.
And the sons of Chananyah: Pelatyah, and Jesha'yah; the sons of Rephayah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of 'Ohadiah, the sons of Shechanyah.
22 Abosendo lukaShekhaniya yilaba: nguShemaya lamadodana akhe: uHathushi, lo-Igali, loBhariya, loNeyariya kanye loShafathi, beyisithupha.
And the sons of Shechanyah: Shema'yah: and the sons of Shema'yah were Chattush, and Yigal, and Bariach, and Ne'aryah, and Shaphat, six.
23 Amadodana kaNeyariya yila: ngu-Eliyonayi, loHezekhiya, lo-Azirikhamu, bebathathu.
And the sons of Ne'aryah: Elyo'enai, and Hezekiah, and 'Azrikam, three.
24 Amadodana ka-Eliyonayi yila: nguHodaviya, lo-Eliyashibi, loPhelaya, lo-Akhubi, loJohanani, loDelaya kanye lo-Anani, beyisikhombisa.
And the sons of Elyo'enai were, Hodavyahu, and Elyashib, and Pelayah, and 'Akkub, and Jochanan, and Delayah, and 'Anani, seven.
