And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

30 Amadodana kaNadabi yila: nguSeledi lo-Aphayimi. USeledi wafa engelabantwana.
The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31 Indodana ka-Aphayimi yile: ngu-Ishi, uyise kaSheshani. USheshani wayenguyise ka-Ahilayi.
And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
32 Amadodana kaJada, umfowabo kaShamayi yila: nguJetha loJonathani. UJetha wafa engelabantwana.
And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
33 Amadodana kaJonathani yila: nguPhelethi loZaza. Laba babeyinzalo kaJerameli.
And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
34 USheshani wayengelawo amadodana, wayelamadodakazi wodwa. Wayelesisebenzi saseGibhithe esasithiwa nguJariha.
And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.

39 u-Azariya enguyise kaHelezi, uHelezi enguyise ka-Eleyasa,
And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,
40 u-Eleyasa enguyise kaSisimayi, uSisimayi enguyise kaShalumi,
And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,
41 uShalumi enguyise kaJekhamiya, uJekhamiya enguyise ka-Elishama.
And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
42 Amadodana kaKhalebi umfowabo kaJerameli yila: uMesha izibulo lakhe, onguyise kaZifi, lendodana yakhe uMaresha, uyise kaHebhroni.
Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 Amadodana kaHebhroni yila: nguKhora, loThaphuwa, loRekhemu loShema.
And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
44 UShema wayenguyise kaRahama, uRahama yena enguyise kaJokheyama. URekhemu wayenguyise kaShamayi.
