1 Balithwala ibhokisi lesivumelwano sikaNkulunkulu bayalingenisa ethenteni uDavida ayelilungiselele lona, banikela ngeminikelo yokutshiswa leyobudlelwano phambi kukaNkulunkulu.
And they brought [the] ark of God and they set it in [the] midst of the tent which he had pitched for it David and they brought near burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
2 UDavida eseqedile ukunikela ngeminikelo yokutshiswa langeyobudlelwano, wabusisa abantu ngebizo likaThixo.
And he finished David from offering up the burnt offering and the peace offerings and he blessed the people in [the] name of Yahweh.
3 Wababela bonke abako-Israyeli, abesilisa labesifazane, yilowo lalowo isinkwa, lekhekhe lezithelo kanye lekhekhe lamavini awonyisiweyo.
And he distributed to every person of Israel from man and unto woman to everyone a round loaf of bread and a date-cake and a raisin-cake.
4 Wakhetha abanye abaLevi ukukhonza phambi kwebhokisi lesivumelwano sikaThixo bedumisa uThixo, bebonga uNkulunkulu ka-Israyeli:
And he appointed before [the] ark of Yahweh some of the Levites servants and to make remembrance and to give thanks and to praise Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
5 Induna kwakungu-Asafi, uZakhariya engumsekeli, kulandela uJeyeli, loShemiramothi, loJehiyeli, loMathithiya, lo-Eliyabi, loBhenaya, lo-Obhedi-Edomi kanye loJeyiyeli. Babezatshaya amachacho lemihubhe, u-Asafi etshaya izigubhu,
Asaph [was] the chief and [was] second his Zechariah Jeiel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Mattithiah and Eliab and Benaiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel with instruments of lyres and with harps and Asaph with cymbals [was] sounding aloud.
6 abaphristi uBhenaya loJahaziyeli bengabokuvuthela amacilongo phambi kwebhokisi lesivumelwano sikaNkulunkulu.
And Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before [the] ark of [the] covenant of God.
7 Ngalolosuku uDavida wamisa ukuba u-Asafi labanye bakhe bahlabelele lelihubo bebonga uThixo:
On the day that then he appointed David at the first to give thanks to Yahweh by [the] hand of Asaph and relatives his.
8 Bongani uThixo, memezani ibizo lakhe, lizazise phakathi kwabantu izenzo zakhe.
Give thanks to Yahweh proclaim name his make known among the peoples deeds his.
9 Hlabelelani kuye, hlabelelani indumiso kuye; likhulume ngezenzo zakhe zonke ezimangalisayo.
Sing to him sing praises to him tell in all wonders his.
10 Jabulani ebizweni lakhe elingcwele; kazithokoze inhliziyo zabo abamdingayo uThixo.
Boast in [the] name of holiness his let it rejoice [the] heart of [those who] seek Yahweh.
11 Dingani uThixo lamandla akhe, limdinge yena njalonjalo.
Seek Yahweh and strength his seek face his continually.
12 Khumbulani izenzo zakhe ezimangalisayo azenzayo, izimangaliso azenzayo, lezahlulelo azikhulumayo,
Remember wonders his which he has done wonders his and [the] judgments of mouth his.
13 lina zizukulwane zika-Israyeli inceku yakhe, lina madodana kaJakhobe, abakhethiweyo bakhe.
O offspring of Israel servant his O descendants of Jacob chosen ones his.
14 Yena unguThixo uNkulunkulu wethu; izahlulelo zakhe zigcwele wonke umhlaba.
He [is] Yahweh God our [are] in all the earth judgments his.
15 Uyakhumbula isivumelwano sakhe nini lanini, ilizwi lomlayo wakhe, okwezizukulwane ezizinkulungwane,
Remember for ever covenant his [the] word [which] he commanded for a thousand generation[s].
16 isivumelwano asenza lo-Abhrahama, isifungo asenza lo-Isaka,
Which he made with Abraham and oath his to Isaac.
17 wasiqinisa kuJakhobe saba yisimiso, laku-Israyeli saba yisivumelwano esingapheliyo,
And he confirmed it to Jacob to a statute to Israel a covenant of perpetuity.
18 wathi “Ngizalinika ilizwe laseKhenani njengesabelo selifa lenu.”
Saying to you I will give [the] land of Canaan [the] portion of inheritance your.
19 Kwathi lisesebalutshwana, bebalutshwana kakhulu, beyizihambi kulo,
When were you men of number like a few and sojourners in it.
20 bezula kuzizwe ngezizwe besuka komunye umbuso besiya komunye.
And they went about from nation to nation and from a kingdom to a people another.
21 Kavumelanga loba ngubani ukubancindezela; wawakhuza amakhosi ngenxa yabo,
Not he permitted anyone to oppress them and he rebuked on them kings.
22 “Lingabathinti abagcotshiweyo bami; lingahlukuluzi abaphrofethi bami.”
May not you touch anointed [ones] my and to prophets my may not you do harm.
23 Hlabelani kuThixo lina, mhlaba wonke, limemezele insindiso yakhe insuku ngezinsuku.
Sing to Yahweh O all the earth bear news from day to day salvation his.
24 Fakazani ngobukhosi bakhe ezizweni zonke, lemisebenzi yakhe emangalisayo phakathi kwabantu bonke.
Recount among the nations glory his among all the peoples wonders his.
25 Ngoba umkhulu uThixo, ufanele ukudunyiswa ngokuphindiweyo; kumele esatshwe ngaphezu kwabonkulunkulu bonke.
For [is] great Yahweh and [is] to be praised exceedingly and [is] to be feared he above all gods.
26 Ngoba bonke onkulunkulu bezizwe bayizithombe; kodwa uThixo wadala amazulu.
For all [the] gods of the peoples [are] worthless idols and Yahweh [the] heavens he made.
27 Inkazimulo lobukhosi kuphambi Kwakhe Amandla lentokozo kusendaweni yakhe yokuhlala.
Splendor and majesty [are] before him strength and joy [are] in place his.
28 Mnikeni uThixo, lina zizukulwane zezizwe. Mnikeni uThixo ubukhosi lamandla.
Ascribe to Yahweh O clans of peoples ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.
29 Mnikeni uThixo udumo olufanele ibizo lakhe. Lethani umnikelo libuye phambi kwakhe. Mkhonzeni uThixo enkazimulweni yobungcwele bakhe;
Ascribe to Yahweh [the] glory of name his lift up an offering and come before him bow down to Yahweh in adornment of holiness.
30 thuthumelani phambi kwakhe mhlaba wonke! Umhlaba ugxilile, ngeke ugudluzwe.
Tremble from to before him O all the earth also it is established [the] world not it will be shaken.
31 Amazulu kawathokoze, lomhlaba ujabule, kabathi phakathi kwabezizwe, “UThixo uyabusa.”
Let them rejoice the heavens and let it be glad the earth and let people say among the nations Yahweh he reigns.
32 Ulwandle kaluhlokome lakho konke okukulo, amasimu kawathakazelele lakho konke okukuwo.
Let it thunder the sea and what fills it let it exult the field and all that [is] in it.
33 Lapho-ke izihlahla zonke zeganga zizahlabela ngentokozo phambi kukaThixo, ngoba uyeza ukuzakwahlulela umhlaba.
Then they will shout for joy [the] trees of the forest from to before Yahweh for [he is] coming to judge the earth.
34 Bongani uThixo ngoba ulungile. Uthando lwakhe olungapheliyo lumi kokuphela.
Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
35 Celani lithi: “Sisindise, Oh Nkulunkulu Mkhululi wethu, usiqoqe usikhulule phakathi kwezizwe, ukuze silibonge ibizo lakho elingcwele, sijabule ekukudumiseni.”
And say save us O God of salvation our and gather us and deliver us from the nations to give thanks to [the] name of holiness your to boast in praise your.
36 Kabongwe uThixo, uNkulunkulu ka-Israyeli, kusukela endulo kuze kube nininini. Bonke abantu bathi: “Ameni. Kabongwe uThixo!”
[be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel from antiquity and until perpetuity and they said all the people amen and they praised Yahweh.
37 UDavida wasetshiya o-Asafi labakhula bakhe ukuba bagcine ibhokisi lesivumelwano sikaThixo, bakhonze njalo benze konke okufanele kwenziwe lapho ngezinsuku zonke.
And he left there before [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh Asaph and relatives his to serve before the ark continually to [the] matter of a day in day its.
38 Abanye abatshiya lapho ukuze bakhonze labo ngo-Obhedi-Edomi labakhula bakhe, ababengamatshumi ayisithupha lasificaminwembili. U-Obhedi-Edomi indodana kaJeduthuni, kanye loHosa babengabalindi bamasango.
And Obed-Edom and relatives their sixty and eight and Obed-Edom [the] son of Jedithun and Hosah to gatekeepers.
39 UDavida watshiya uZadokhi umphristi kanye labanye abaphristi phambi kwethabanikeli likaThixo endaweni ephakemeyo yokukhonzela eGibhiyoni
And - Zadok the priest and relatives his the priests before [the] tabernacle of Yahweh at the high place which [was] in Gibeon.
40 ukunikela kuThixo iminikelo yokutshiswa e-alithareni ngezikhathi zonke, ekuseni lantambama, njengokulotshiweyo eMthethweni kaThixo, awupha abako-Israyeli.
To offer up burnt offerings to Yahweh on [the] altar of the burnt offering continually to the morning and to the evening and to every [thing] written in [the] law of Yahweh which he commanded to Israel.
41 Abanye abasala labo babengoHemani loJeduthuni labanye bonke balabo ababekhethiwe beqanjwa ngamabizo ukuba badumise uThixo, “ngoba uthando lwakhe lumi kuze kube nininini.”
And [were] with them Heman and Jeduthun and [the] rest of those [who] had been chosen who they had been designated by names to give thanks to Yahweh for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
42 UHemani loJeduthuni babengabokuvuthela amacilongo lokutshaya izigubhu lamanye amachacho ezingoma ezingcwele. Amadodana kaJeduthuni ayehlala esangweni.
And [were] with them Heman and Jeduthun trumpets and cymbals for [those who] sound aloud and [the] instruments of song of God and [the] sons of Jeduthun [were] to the gate.
43 Abanye bonke basuka, ngulowo lalowo waqonda emzini wakhe, uDavida wabuyela emzini wakhe ukuyabusisa abendlu yakhe.
And they went all the people everyone to house his and he turned David to bless house his.
