1 An mina loong asuh samthun thuk rum uh, ngoong awang nyia deek akaan phansiitte loong, jeng ah naktoom daan rum ah, nyia jaatrep lam nah ese mootkaat ah reesuh banban toom ih tong rum ah.
Put them in mind to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient to rule, to be ready to do every good work,
2 Neng suh baat rum uh mihoh tiit naktoom thetbaat rum ah, erah nang ih bah jiiwah joonwah totoh et thiin rum ano semroongroong lam ih toomtong rum ah, eno warep damdoh neng toongtang ah toom noisok rum ah.
to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, [to be] mild, shewing all meekness towards all men.
3 Tumeah seng loong uh jaasiit ba thungko angti, mih jeng laboichaatte, nyia lapun lajun mina angti. Seng loong ah jaatrep ethih ekhah suh lungwaang nyia mongmah ih no songtongti. Seng roidong ah ethih, mih siikhaam tenthun, nyia miksuk mui lam ih tongsong ra tahe.
For we were once ourselves also without intelligence, disobedient, wandering in error, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.
4 Enoothong seng Pangte Rangte minchan nyia tenthet ah dongjat thuk tahe adi,
But when the kindness and love to man of our Saviour God appeared,
5 heh ih seng ah puipang tahe. Erah seng mootkaat ese ih moh thoidi tapang tahe, erah nang ih heh teewah tenthet nawa ih seng ah piipang hali, Esa Chiiala jun ih saachot heeno seng ah ena et dong tupthuk hali nyia roidong ena ah kohali.
not on the principle of works which [have been done] in righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy he saved us through [the] washing of regeneration and renewal of [the] Holy Spirit,
6 Rangte ih Esa Chiiala ah seng sak ni seng Pangte Jisu Kristo jun ih rapne ih daapkaat taha,
which he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 eno ba heh tenthet dowa ih seng ah Rangte damdoh epun ih tongsong ih nyia seng ih laalom hi lathoon theng roidong adoh jen chonop wang ih. (aiōnios )
that, having been justified by his grace, we should become heirs according to [the] hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )
8 Arah amiisak tiitthaak. Eno ngah ih erah tiit ah hoondak et baat kot suh ramlang, eno ba Rangte suh hanpiite mina loong ih ese mootkaat ah re suh neng saapoot jen koh ah, eno erah ah warep mina raang ih ese nyia maak doh chapjih ang ah.
The word [is] faithful, and I desire that thou insist strenuously on these things, that they who have believed God may take care to pay diligent attention to good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
9 Enoothong lalangka tiitkhaap thoidoh ladaan muitheng, te awah tiit doh, changrook nyia Hootthe tung doh eboot thet hoom mui lah etheng. Erah tiit loong ah thaangmuh nyia lalangka tiit.
But foolish questions, and genealogies, and strifes, and contentions about the law, shun; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Mih pheehoomte suh jaanyi taan ba choophaan baattaan theng, erah tokkhoh doh bah tumjih uh lakah ih thiinhaat theng.
An heretical man after a first and second admonition have done with,
11 An ih jat et hu erah likhiik mina ah ethih, nyia neng rangdadah ih neng moongtaang ah dongjat ah.
knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.
12 Ngah ih an jiinnah Artimas adoleh Tiichikas daapjah hang adoh an nga jiinnah Nikopolis nah rootroot ih wang ho, tumeah hahook ko doh ngah erah nah tong suh thunhang.
When I shall send Artemas to thee, or Tychicus, use diligence to come to me to Nicopolis; for I have decided to winter there.
13 Mat hoonte Jinas nyia Apolo ra nyuuha doh nengnyi lengkhoom raangtaan ih mathan jen chosok uh erah than et soksam we nyu uh, nengnyi tumjih doh uh lathangrang thuk ih chosok weetheng.
Zenas the lawyer and Apollos set forward diligently on their way, that nothing may be lacking to them;
14 Seng mina loong ih ese mootkaat mosuh saapoot ah mamet kotjih ah erah enyoot jaatjaat etheng, eno ba neng ah saarookwih laboot laabe thang ih jen chosokmui rum ah; neng roidong ah thaangmu nah naktoom tong rum ah.
and let ours also learn to apply themselves to good works for necessary wants, that they may not be unfruitful.
15 Nga dam dowa loongtang ih sen suh jengkhaapse ah maat hali. Seng jengkhaapse ah hanpiite loong joonte suh nep toombaat koh an. Rangte minchan ah sen damdam toom ang ha.
All with me salute thee. Salute those who love us in [the] faith. Grace [be] with you all.
