1 Enoothong an ih bah marah rang banlam di punla erah tiit ah nyootsoot theng.
But speak you the things which become sound doctrine:
2 Teekaang loong ah toongtang angtheng, thungsek angtheng, nyia neng teewah naririh ih bansokte toom ang rum ah ih baat rum uh; neng hanpi, minchan nyia enaanjih ah naririh toom ih thun rum ah.
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in love, (agape) in patience.
3 Emamah wikuh loong ah uh minuh likhiik ih neng roidong ah esa ih tongsong suh nyootsoot rum uh. Neng mih thetbaatte adoleh kham kaanya lajaatjaat angjih. Neng ih ese ah enyoot jaatjaat toom et rum ah,
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 eno ju ba sakliinuh loong asuh neng sah loong nyia neng miwah loong minchan,
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 adoleh neng teeteenuh ah jen ban sok suh nyia kamkam esa jen ang rum suh, neng miwah jengchaatchaat ete nuh toongtang angsuh nyootsoot rum ah, eno Rangte jiin nawa ra hala tiitkhaap asuh o ih uh ethih lam nah tajen thetbaat rumka.
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word (logos) of God be not blasphemed.
6 Emamah jaaro loong ah uh neng teewah ah naririh toom ang rum ah ih baat rum uh.
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 Jaatrep nah an teewah dang ajang ah nyootbaat etheng angtheng. Enyoot ih rum uh doh naririh nyia dangdang et nyootsoot rum uh.
In all things showing yourself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing incorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 An jeng ah mih ih lami joobaat theng phanjangjang angtheng, eno ba anpi anra loong ah seng thetbaatjih laje koka no neng rakriiri erum ah.
Sound speech, (logos) that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 Dah loong ah neng changte jengchaatchaat ejih nyia neng changte ah jaatrep lampo na roon thukjih. Neng ah neng changte damdoh langaak jeng theng
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 adoleh neng ih mihot ah lahotjih. Erah nang ih, neng hanpi nyia neng ese ih saarookwih noisokjih, eno ba neng reeraang pakna nawa ih seng Pangte Rangte tiit nyootsoot hi men ah rak ah.
Not embezzling, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Tumeah Rangte ih heh minchan thoontang mina’ khopiipang suh dongjat thukta.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12 Erah minchan ah ih rangmen lajat thang ih tongsongti nyia mongrep suh mongmali ah toohaat baat hali, erah dam ih seng teeteewah ah naririh ih soksam theng ih baat hali, eno epun nyia rangte hasong ih songtong tiit ah baat hali, (aiōn g165)
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn g165)
13 tumeah seng ih romseetam Rangwuung laalomti ah bantho hi, erah sa doh seng elong Rangte nyia seng Pangte Jisu Kristo ah chaan apaan pan ih dong ha.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Seng loong roidong ah jaatrep ethih reeraang nawa piipang suh nyia heh luulu mina esa ang thuk heeno ese mootkaat reeraang thung ang thuk suh heh roidong ah kokaat taha.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself an exclusive people, zealous of good works.
15 An jeng boichaatte loong asuh chaankot jengkhaap renbaat rum uh doh nyia kanja uh doh an chaan ah maak uno arah tiit loong ah nyootsoot rum uh. An jeng boichaatte loong ah ih o ih uh naaktoom thaaju rumho.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.
