Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man—everyone who is judging—for in that in which you judge the other, yourself you condemn, for the same things you practice who are judging,
2 Seng ih jat et hi Rangte ih erah likhiik mih abah epun dande et ha.
and we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth, on those practicing such things.
3 Enoothong, nga joonwah an ih mih ah dande uno an teewah ah erarah ah reelu! An ih Rangte dande nawa epui eh ang ih nih thunhu?
And do you think this, O man, who are judging those who such things are practicing, and are doing them, that you will escape the judgment of God?

Or the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, do you despise, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to conversion?

But according to your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up wrath to yourself in [the] day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

For there is no favor by appearance with God,

for as many as sinned without law, will also perish without law, and as many as sinned in law, through law will be judged,
13 Hootthe ah mina ih boichaat ruh ih thaang ih Rangte damdi epun ela ih liijih tah angka, erah nang ih bah Hootthe jun ih re adoh ba ang ah.
for not the hearers of the Law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the Law will be declared righteous.
14 Ranglajatte loong adi Hootthe tajeeta; enoothong nengdi Hootthe lataat jeeta bah uh, neng tumjih re rum ah nengte nengwah banlam ah nengdi neng ngiija Hootthe angta.
For when nations that have no law, by nature may do the things of the Law, these not having a law—to themselves are a law,

17 Sendi mamah ah? Sen ih sen teeteewah suh Jehudi et liitan; eno Hootthe adi laalom anno Rangte damdi ejun ih tongsongli et thun anno ngaampo lan;
Behold, you are named a Jew, and rest on the Law, and boast in God,

and know the will, and approve the distinctions, being instructed out of the Law,
19 sen ih kamkam ih jat han edook loong raang ih sen ah lamsiitte nyia rangnak mong ni tongte loong raang ih sen ah weephaak,
and have confidence that you yourself are a leader of blind ones, a light of those in darkness,

21 Mihoh loong asuh sen ih rapne ih nyootsoot han—enoothong sen teeteewah asuh mamah lanyoot ehan? Sen ih “Hot lahuh theng” et nyoot han—enoothong sensen ih maakah huh jan oh?
You, then, who are teaching another, do you not teach yourself?
22 Sen ih nyoot han, “Mih sanuh sawah damdoh nak roomjup theng eah,”—enoothong sen maakah roomjup jan oh? Sen ih tongmih soom ah daan anno—erah soomtheng dowa hot maakah hukah jan oh?
You who are preaching not to steal, do you steal? You who are saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who are abhorring the idols, do you rob temples?
23 Sen ih Rangte hootthe phan et hi et thun ano ngaampo lan—enoothong hootthe ah thet haat anno Rangte rakriijih maakah reejan oh?
You who boast in the Law, through the transgression of the Law do you dishonor God?
24 Rangteele ni liiha, “Jehudi sen loong thoi ih, Ranglajatte loong ah ih Rangte tiit ah ethih lam ni thetbaat rum koha.”
For evil is spoken of the Name of God among the nations because of you, according as it has been written.
25 Sen ih Hootthe lam ah phan an bah, sen khoopkhan banlam ah maak doh chap eah, enoothong sen ih hootthe lamok kap kanbah khoopkhanmuite loong likhiik ang an.
For circumcision, indeed, profits, if you may practice law, but if you may be a transgressor of law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
26 Ranglajatte, o khoopkhan cho lah angka bah uh, hootthe lam ah naririh et phan abah, Rangte ih erah mina ah khoopkhanchoite loong likhiik tanih jen thiikka?
If, therefore, the uncircumcision may keep the righteousness of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision?
27 Enoothong sen Jehudi loong ah, Ranglajatte loong ih dut haatte ang halan, tumeah sen ih marah Hootthe raang thiintan nyia sen khoop taat khantan ah phaaki et han; eno neng ih bah hootthe ah naririh et phan rumha, neng hansi ah lataat khan rumka bah uh ah.
And the uncircumcision, by nature, fulfilling the Law, will judge you who, through letter and circumcision, [are] a transgressor of law.
28 Erah ang abah, amiimi Jehudi khoopkhan cho ah o ang ah? Rangkhoh khoopkhante loong ah laklak Jehudi tala angja.
For he is not a Jew who is [so] outwardly, neither [is] circumcision that which is outward in flesh;
29 Erah thatnang ih bah, mina heten hemong ni lekla loong abah amiimi Jehudi khoopkhanchoite loong jun ih ang ah, erah ah Rangte Chiiala mola, Hootthe ni raangthiin arah tah angka. Erah likhiik mina ah Rangte ih phoongpha ah, mina ih taphoongphaaka.
but a Jew [is] he who is [so] inwardly, and circumcision [is] of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, of which the praise is not of men, but of God.
