< Roomte 2 >
1 Nga joonwah, an ih mihoh edande nikah et uh? Erah ang abah, an o angkoh ju bah uh tachiim ru. Tumeah an ih wahoh ah dande uno, neng reela jun ih re ubah, an teeteewah dut haat et hu.
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2 Seng ih jat et hi Rangte ih erah likhiik mih abah epun dande et ha.
But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3 Enoothong, nga joonwah an ih mih ah dande uno an teewah ah erarah ah reelu! An ih Rangte dande nawa epui eh ang ih nih thunhu?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Adoleh an ih heh elong minchan, enaanjih nyia ten lakhatjih jengkhaap loong ah thaaju heh et kohu. An ih kamkam ih jat et hu Rangte ah minchan Rangte, tumeah heh ih an suh esekthun lam ah taatwoot sui kohalu.
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 Enoothong an ten ah jong ajaan likhiik lajat thang ih anglu, nyia an ih an teeteewah Rangte tenkhat nyia kateng lampo Dandeeja thok ha doh ehan ih boot chamnaang suh jam hu.
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Tumeah Rangte ih seng esiit esiit suh seng reeraang jun ih hethaang ah kohe.
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 Mararah mina ah ese mootkaat moh ela, eno hemen raksiit ah jam et ha, soomtu et ha, nyia latek roidong ah jam et ha; Erah loong asuh Rangte ih lathoonka roidong ah korum ah. (aiōnios )
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: (aiōnios )
8 Rukho rah ih emoong lam adoh khoom suh liirum ano, neng nyamnyook nyia epun lam ah chiik rumha; Rangte ih erah loong asuh heh tenkhat rapne ih korum ah.
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Ethih mootkaatte loong raang ih echam ejih nyia sattiiti angjih eje ang ah, jaakhoh ah Jehudi loong raang ih ang ah eno Ranglajatte loong raang ih nep ang ah.
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 Enoothong ese mootkaatte loong asuh Rangte ih soongraang, esoomtu, nyia semroongroong ah korum ah, jaakhoh ah Jehudi loong suh erah lidoh Ranglajatte loong suh nep koh ah.
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 Tumeah Rangte ih warep ah eliili ih dande ah.
For there is no respect of persons with God.
12 Ranglajatte loong adi Moses Hootthe tajeeta; neng ah rangdah ni tong rum ano Moses Hootthe laje thang ih mah rumta. Jehudi loong adi bah Hootthe ah eje angta; neng rangdah ah erah Hootthe rah ih dande rum ah.
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 Hootthe ah mina ih boichaat ruh ih thaang ih Rangte damdi epun ela ih liijih tah angka, erah nang ih bah Hootthe jun ih re adoh ba ang ah.
(For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 Ranglajatte loong adi Hootthe tajeeta; enoothong nengdi Hootthe lataat jeeta bah uh, neng tumjih re rum ah nengte nengwah banlam ah nengdi neng ngiija Hootthe angta.
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Hootthe ih baat ha jengdang neng ten ni raangha ah neng reeraang nawa ih noisok rumha. Nengthung nengtak nawa eh uh amiisak ah dongjat rumta, mamah liidi mararah sa adi neng mat et joha eno mararah sa adi epang et rumha.
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another; )
16 Erah thoih Ruurang Ese tiit jun ih ngah ih arah mamet baat rumhala, saasiit Rangte ih Jisu Kristo jengkhaap jun ih warep mina husah tenthun ah dande Sa doh dong rikri rum ah.
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
17 Sendi mamah ah? Sen ih sen teeteewah suh Jehudi et liitan; eno Hootthe adi laalom anno Rangte damdi ejun ih tongsongli et thun anno ngaampo lan;
Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
18 sen ih jat et han Rangte ih sen suh tumjih reethukjih angta rah ah; nyia sen ih Hootthe nawa marah epun ah erah danje ah ejat et han;
And knowest [his] will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
19 sen ih kamkam ih jat han edook loong raang ih sen ah lamsiitte nyia rangnak mong ni tongte loong raang ih sen ah weephaak,
And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
20 thungko loong suh hukrenbaatte, nyia lajatte loong raang ih nyootte eah. Tumeah sen ih Hootthe nawa amiisak tiit loong ah jaatrep ah kamkam et jat han.
An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Mihoh loong asuh sen ih rapne ih nyootsoot han—enoothong sen teeteewah asuh mamah lanyoot ehan? Sen ih “Hot lahuh theng” et nyoot han—enoothong sensen ih maakah huh jan oh?
Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Sen ih nyoot han, “Mih sanuh sawah damdoh nak roomjup theng eah,”—enoothong sen maakah roomjup jan oh? Sen ih tongmih soom ah daan anno—erah soomtheng dowa hot maakah hukah jan oh?
Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Sen ih Rangte hootthe phan et hi et thun ano ngaampo lan—enoothong hootthe ah thet haat anno Rangte rakriijih maakah reejan oh?
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 Rangteele ni liiha, “Jehudi sen loong thoi ih, Ranglajatte loong ah ih Rangte tiit ah ethih lam ni thetbaat rum koha.”
For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 Sen ih Hootthe lam ah phan an bah, sen khoopkhan banlam ah maak doh chap eah, enoothong sen ih hootthe lamok kap kanbah khoopkhanmuite loong likhiik ang an.
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Ranglajatte, o khoopkhan cho lah angka bah uh, hootthe lam ah naririh et phan abah, Rangte ih erah mina ah khoopkhanchoite loong likhiik tanih jen thiikka?
Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 Enoothong sen Jehudi loong ah, Ranglajatte loong ih dut haatte ang halan, tumeah sen ih marah Hootthe raang thiintan nyia sen khoop taat khantan ah phaaki et han; eno neng ih bah hootthe ah naririh et phan rumha, neng hansi ah lataat khan rumka bah uh ah.
And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 Erah ang abah, amiimi Jehudi khoopkhan cho ah o ang ah? Rangkhoh khoopkhante loong ah laklak Jehudi tala angja.
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither [is that] circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 Erah thatnang ih bah, mina heten hemong ni lekla loong abah amiimi Jehudi khoopkhanchoite loong jun ih ang ah, erah ah Rangte Chiiala mola, Hootthe ni raangthiin arah tah angka. Erah likhiik mina ah Rangte ih phoongpha ah, mina ih taphoongphaaka.
But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not of men, but of God.
