< Philipiite 1 >
1 Philipi nawa Rangte mina Kristo damdi tongte, Chaas phansiitte nyia neng damdi roongmoote loong suh Pool nyia Timothi Rangte laksuh wanyi jiin nawa arah jengkhaap rah ah:
Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2 Seng loong Wah Rangte nyia seng Teesu Jisu Kristo ih sen suh semroongroong nyia heh tenthet ah toom kohan.
Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Ngah ih nga Rangte suh sen dokthun saapoot rookwih di lakookmi kali ang;
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 nyia saapoot rookwih ngah ih sen raang ih rangsoom angdi, tenroon lam ih kah soom ang
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 tumeah ruurangese tiit phang tumbaat tang tok dowa ih amah tuk ih sen ih chosok hali.
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Eno ngah ih kamkam ih thunhang seng Rangte, sen suh ese mootkaat phang re thukte warah ih hethoon doh Jisu Kristo Rangwuung maang thokthok tuk ih ese lam ih thoonsiit kohe.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Ngah ih sen samthun rumhala ah epunthun et hang tumeah, sen ah saarookwih ngah ten ni tonglan! Rangte ih heh tiit tumbaat suh saapoot kotahang adi sen loong ih roong chosok tahe, amadi ngah phaatak ni tonglang tokdi nyia maangtong tokdi Rangte ruurangese raang ih laattang dowa ih dook ah.
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 Ngah ih sen loong nga ten nawa ih samthun rumhala rah Jisu Kristo heteewah tenthun thun nawa ih dong thunthuk halang, nga haaki ah Rangte.
For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 Sen loong chamchi nah ese tenthun nyia sekthun ah, mongnook lam ih ehan han ih hak raangtaan suh nga rangsoom ban jeela,
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;
10 eno ba sen ih marah eseethoon ah mi danje an. Erah dowa ih ba sen ah Kristo rangwuung sa doh kaanju muh saksa ang an.
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
11 Jisu Kristo luulu ih Rangte men raksiit suh jen dongsiit ha amiisak ese dang ajang rah ih sen roidong ah meethuk ah.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
12 Joon awaan loong, ngah ih sen suh jatthuk suh ramlang ah langla, nga chamnaang tungthoidi ba amiisak Rangte tiit ah ehan han ih jaat jaangjih ih hoon kata.
But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things [which happened] unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
13 Mamah liidi, luungwang nok bante loongtang ih ngah phaatak ni tonglang asuh Kristo laksuh ang kano botongla ih dongjat rumha.
So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];
14 Erah dam ih hanpiite loong ah ih ngah phaatak ni tongkang no neng tenthun ah Teesu jiinko kamkam ih dong thun rumha, erah dowa ih ba neng ih Rangte tiit ah saapoot rookwih lacho laphaan ih tumbaat rum ah.
And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15 Elang eah Kristo tiit ah mararah ih bah ethih tenthunte nyia changrook mina loong ih roong baat ha, enoothong mararah mina ih bah amiisak ese tenthun nawa ih baat ha.
Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 Erah loong ah mongnook tenthun lam ih re ah, tumeah, Rangte ih heh ruurangese tiit pangsuh mothuk halang ah neng ih ejat eha.
The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 Rukho loong ih Kristo tiit ah toongtang lam in tabaat rumka, erah nang ih bah nyamnyook tenthun lam ih baat rumha; neng ih ngah phaatak ni tonglang tokdoh ehan ih boot chamnaang thuk suh thun rumha.
But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18 Enoothong erah ih tumjih angjih bah tah angka! Erah nang ih bah Kristo tiit ah ese lam angkoja oh adoleh ethih tenthun lam ih angkoja oh etumbaat et ha asuh thong roonlang. Eno ngah ah toomroon ruh ete anglang,
What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
19 tumeah, ngah ih jat ehang Jisu Kristo chiiala lam ih sen rangsoom nawa ih chosok hali thoi ngah ah phaatak nawa edok ete anglang.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
20 Ngah ih nga tenni kamkam ih thun angno laalom lang, nga mootkaat doh babah uh nga rakri dongjih tamokang, etek ejih angkojang oh adoleh ething angkojang oh, nga tenchaan amadi anglang jun ih Kristo men ah ngah puh putang ih raksiit ang.
According to my earnest expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether [it be] by life, or by death.
21 Erabah roidong ah tumjih ah? Ngah di bah, khothing roidong ah Kristo, etek ah tang ehan eseethoon roidong chojih ah.
For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.
22 Enoothong amamah khothing ih ban tongsong ruh eh angbah mootkaat ese ah ngah ehanhan ih boot moh ang, ngah ih marah danjeejih ah erah tajatkang.
But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
23 Ngah lamnyi nawa ih pheehoom halang. Ngah roidong ah thiinhaat suh nyia Kristo damdoh tong suh ah rapne ih thunhang, marah eseethoon ang ah;
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
24 enoothong ngah ething ih tong ah sen raangtaan suh maaklong doh chap ang.
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.
25 Erah ngah ih kamkam ih thunhang, ngah ah sen damdoh ething ih roongtong hangno sen tenroon nyia sen tuungmaang boot huk korumha,
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
26 eno ba ngah sen damdoh we roongtong hang adoh, sen roidong doh sen ah Jisu Kristo suh ehan han ih boot khuungpook roonsoonjih ang an.
That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
27 Amadi, sen suh elongthoon reejih ah langla sen ruurangese ah Kristo tiit jun ih tongsong andoh se ah, eno ba ngah ih sen ah Rangte tiit suh rongrong ih tuungmaang laalom rum ano tongsong rumla ih japchaat ang, sen reenah ngah raahang no nga mik ih sok ra rumha bah uh adoleh lajen raarang bah uh ah, sen ah chiiala esiit nawa ih rongchap thuk halan ih jat ang.
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
28 Senpi senra loong suh lacho theng; saarookwih tarong ih bantong an, eno ba senpi senra loong ah ih dongjat ah neng ah rangne eno sen ah rangkap eah, tumeah sen suh Rangte ih rangkap angjih ah kotahan.
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
29 Erah thoih sen suh Kristo mootkaat ah moh suh saapoot ah kohalan, heh suh hanpi laklak lah angthang ih, heh raangtaan ih chamnaang nep ih suh.
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
30 Amadoh sen ngah damdoh raamui thengnah jen roong rung ehan. Erah raamui ah sen ih ehak di katup tahe raamui ah muilang, eno amadi chaat han rah uh erah raamui ah thok muilang.
Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.
