for they did not yet understand the Scripture, That it behooved Him to rise from the dead.

Then the disciples departed again to their own comrades.

Jesus says to her, Woman, why are you weeping? whom are you seeking? She, thinking that He is the gardener, says to Him, Sir, if you have taken Him away, tell me where you have placed Him, and I will take Him.

Then it being evening, on that day, on the first day of the week, and the doors being shut where the disciples were assembled, on account of the fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and says to them, Peace be unto you.
20 Erah jeng ano heh lakma nyi heh saam ah noisok rumta. Eno heliphante loong ah neng Teesu ah tup rum ano rapne ih roon rumta.

Then the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord. And he said to them, Unless I may see the print of the nails in His hand, and thrust my finger into the place of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe.

Thomas responded and said to Him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jisu ih Thomas suh liita, [Ngah ah tup hangno tam hanpi halang? Ngah latup rangdi hanpiiha loong ah tiimthan tenroon ah!]
Jesus says to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed: happy are those not seeing, and believing.

Indeed then Jesus also did many other miracles in the presence of His disciples, which have not been written in this book;
31 Arah sen ih hanpi toom ih an ngeh ih raangthiin ha, Jisu ah Rangte Sah Kristo eno heh hanpi jun ih sen ih roidong ah choh an.
and these have been written in order that you may believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; and in order that believing you may have life through His name.
