1 Arah Melkijadek ah Salem luuwang angta nyia Echoong Thoon Rangte suh heh romwah angta. Abraham raamui theng nawa luuwang baji ah jen thin ano ngaak wang taha di, Melkijadek ah heh damdi chomui ano romseetam kota,
FOR this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 eno Abraham ih marah toonta dowa asithiik ah heh suh kota. (Melkijadek liiha phangkhoh thoon ah “Kateng Luuwang”; erah damdi heh ah Salem Luuwang angthoi, “Semroongroong Luuwang uh eli eta.”)
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Melkijadek nuh nyia hewah adoleh hete hewih men tiit loong ah raangthin muh; hetup hesaat nyia hetek hemat tiit uh raangthin muh. Heh ah Rangte Sah likhiik ang ano saarookwe raangtaan ih romwah angla.
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
4 Sok thaak an, heh ah timthan rak angta. Sengte sengwah Abraham hemen herang pan angta, eno heh ih raamui theng nawa chota dowa asithiik ah heh suh kota.
Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 Leewi sutoom satoom romwah ang rumta loong asuh, Hootthe ih asithiik Ijirel mina loong jin nawa suk suh baat rumta, erah langla Abraham sutoom satoom nengneng mina jiin nawa suk thuk rumta.
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 Melkijadek ah Leewi sutoom satoom tah angta, enoothong marah suh Rangte ih kakhamta wah ah Abraham, jiin nawa asithiik ah thaang ano romseetam kota.
But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 Romseetam chote thaknang ibah romseetam kotte wah rah elong, erah liiha rah tenchi angtheng tah angka.
And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
8 Asithiik toonte romwah loong ah etek ete mina; enoothong rangteele ni baat ha likhiik Melkijadek ih asithiik toonta aba, heh ething eh tongte.
And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
9 Eno, weeli ibah Abraham ih asithiik kota adi Leewi (Asithiik katoon rumta sutoom satoom ah) eh uh ekot eta.
And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
10 Timnge liidih Leewi ah maang tup angta, enoothong Melkijadek chomuita di hete hewah Abraham sak ni eje angta.
For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
11 Ijirel mina suh kota Hootthe jun di, romwah ah Leewi jaat apaat nawa angtheng. Amadi, leewi nok hah romwah loong mootkaat ah epun angta bah, belam Aroon jaatang likhiik lah ang thang Melkijadek jaatang likhiik we dong jamtheng tah taat angta.
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law, ) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 Timnge liidih romwah jaatang lek taano bah hootthe nah uh jirep ah elek etheng ang ah.
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 Eno arah di liiha, seng Teesu ah jaat hoh paat hoh nawa angta, hejaat hepaat ngo uh romwah tataat thaak mota.
For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 Erah thoontang ih ejat eha heh ah Juda jaat apaat nawa tupta; eno Moses ih romwah loong tiit baatta adi arah jaat apaat tiit ah baat muh.
For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15 Arah tiit ah jat suh elaang ih hoonla; Melkijadek likhiik romwah maama dong taha.
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Heh ah romwah ih hoonta, mina banlam nawa ih tah hoonta, enoothong lathoonka roidong chaan aphaan jun ih hoon thukta.
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 Timnge liidih Rangteele ni liiha, “An Melkijadek lalidoh roitang raangtaan ih romwah ang uh.” (aiōn g165)
For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn g165)
18 Erah raangtaan ih banlam hak ah ethin haat eha, timnge liidih erah banlam ah kamkam lah ang koka no nyia timdi uh lapun koka no tah maak rumta.
For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 Mamah liidih Moses Hootthe ih tim uh tapun thukta. Eno amadi laalom theng eseethoon ah koh tahe, marah lam ih Rangte reeni thok li erah ah.
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
20 Erah damdi, Rangte ih thoomhoon arah eje. Romwah wahoh ang thukta adi arah likhiik thoomhoon tajeeta.
And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21 Enoothong Jisu ah thoomhoon jun ih romwah ang thukta adi Rangte ih heh suh amah liita, “Teesu ih kamkam eh kakhamta, erah tah ngaak toon ka: An roitang ih romwah angtheng.’” (aiōn g165)
(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec: ) (aiōn g165)
22 Erah raangtaan ih, arah maama tiit baat ha rah ih Jisu aba nuumiijeng eseethoon.
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23 Belam uh maama ehoh eje: jaakhoh ni romwah loong wahoh uh hantek ang rumta, timnge liidih neng loong ah mattek erumta, erah thoidi neng mootkaat ah tajen jang mokah rumta.
And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24 Enoothong Jisu ba tongla roitang ah, eno heh romwah mootkaat ah ngo suh uh tatoom koka. (aiōn g165)
But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. (aiōn g165)
25 Ngo heh jun ih Rangte reeni wangla erah jen pang suh Jisu ah saarookwe tarong, mamah liidih neng loong suh rangsoom kot raang ih heh ah roitang ething tongla.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 Erah raangtaan ih seng ih jamhi ah chosuh Romwah Phokhothoon ah Jisu. Heh ah esa; heh tah thika nyia rangdah tah daka; heh ah rangdah mina loong dowa pheehoom ano rangmong loong ni toonsiit wanta.
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Heh ah romwah phokhothoon loong wahoh likhiik tah angka; Heh ih sa rookwe jaakhoh heteewah rangdah raangtaan ih eno wahoh loong rangdah raangtaan ih khojoop siik hoon hoonte tah angka, wahoh raangtaan eh uh khojoop siik hoon ah tah jamka. Heh tewah roidong kota adi, khojoop siit hoon ah jaasiit di thoontang roop kota.
Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 Moses Hootthe jun ibah lapun lajun mina ah romwah phokhothoon raang ih juujeeta; enoothong Rangte ih kakhamta adi thoom nep hoonta, eno erah Hootthe lini dong taha, erah langla saarookwe raangtaan ih epunthoon ang arah Rangte Sah ah juuje ha. (aiōn g165)
For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. (aiōn g165)
